Hyros Zapier integrationAutomate Hyros with Zapier.

The Hyros Zapier integration gives you 11 triggers, 22 actions and 20 searches. Every trigger is instant, Hyros is not a premium app, and a two-step Zap runs on the free plan. Here is what each operation does, what it costs and what breaks.

Overview

What the Hyros Zapier integration actually does for you

The Hyros Zapier integration links your Hyros attribution account to Zapier, so that an event in Hyros (a sale attributed, a lead opting in, a refund) can start an automation, and so that other steps can write leads, orders, calls or products back into Hyros without you opening it.

Three results come up again and again for high-ticket funnels. First, a clean sales record: Create Order pushes each purchase into Hyros and attributes it to the lead by email, and Refund Order takes it back out when the money goes back. Second, calls logged next to sales: Create Call logs a call in Hyros and builds its tag from the call name, so the calls from your booking tool sit in the same account as the payments. Third, numbers you can act on outside the dashboard: searches such as Find ROAS or Find Marginal CAC Curve pull the figures into a later step.

Now the limits. Every one of the 11 triggers is instant, so there is no polling to tune, but a Zap never goes back in time: a sale recorded before you publish stays out. Several writes are asynchronous on the Hyros side and take a few minutes to show. There is no find-or-create shortcut on this app. And any search, filter or second action makes the Zap multi-step, which the free plan does not run.

If you are weighing tools, the Hyros Make integration covers the same app on Make, and the Zapier review looks at the platform itself.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, in plain English

Eight terms come back on every line of this page. One sentence each, then they are used as is.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, followed by one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or changes something in an app on your behalf.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Polling vs instant trigger
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived matches the condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so the steps after it can use what it found.
Connection
Your Hyros account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that talks to Hyros.
Cost

What it really costs in tasks

Zapier bills completed actions, not events. The trigger itself never costs a task, and an action that fails is not counted against your plan.

  • TriggerFree, never counted
  • Successful action1 task each
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Premium appNo, available on the free plan

Each action that succeeds counts on its own, so a Zap with three actions eats three times what a one-action Zap eats. Hyros is not a premium app: it works on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only Zaps of two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter, a search or a second action and you have a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Since all Hyros triggers are instant, the polling interval below does not slow them down on any plan.

Connect

Connect your Hyros account in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a Hyros account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

  2. 02

    Pick Hyros

Type Hyros in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. The connection is made once and every Zap that uses Hyros reuses it.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to Hyros in the tab that opens, then allow Zapier to access the account. From then on, Hyros shows up as a choice when you pick the app of a step.

First Zap

Your first Zap: update a lead when a subscription changes status

GoalWhen a subscription in Hyros changes status, keep only the status you care about and update the lead it belongs to.

  1. 01

    Start the Zap

In the Build stage, pick Hyros as the app that starts the Zap, then Subscription Status Changed as the event, and choose your Hyros connection.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the Test: Zapier brings back the three most recent items from your account, so you map the next steps on a real subscription instead of an empty one.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add a Filter. Set the field to look at, the rule, then the value. Use a text rule on a text value, or the filter never lets anything through.

  4. 04

    Add the action

Add Hyros again, pick Update Lead, and map what the trigger returned into the fields you want to change. The update is asynchronous on the Hyros side and can take a few minutes to show.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test the action once, read what came back, then click Publish. With a filter on board this is a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan to run.

Triggers

The 11 Hyros triggers

11 events start a Zap when something happens in Hyros, and 11 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Lead Opted In

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead opts in.”

Every opt-in starts the Zap, whether the person is new to your list or has already signed up on another page. It is the widest net Hyros offers for lead capture, and it catches returning contacts as well as fresh ones.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a webinar host wants each registration, repeat sign-ups included, logged as a call slot with Create Call.
Watch out
one person opting in on three pages starts three runs, and each successful action in them is billed.
2

Lead Opted in First Time

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers the first time a lead opts in.”

This one is stricter than Lead Opted In: it reacts only to a lead's very first opt-in and stays silent on any later ones. That makes it the right starting point for anything meant to happen once per person.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a course creator wants a brand-new subscriber, never a returning one, to get a click recorded against the first landing page.
Watch out
an opt-in that happened before you published the Zap is never picked up, first time or not.
3

Lead Origin Assigned

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead is assigned as the origin of another lead.”

Hyros sometimes ties one lead to another as its origin. The moment that link is set, this trigger starts the Zap.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
an affiliate manager wants the referring lead updated as soon as Hyros credits them with a new contact.
Watch out
keep the action away from lead origins, or the Zap can write where its own trigger watches and start itself again.
4

Lead Stage Changed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead's current stage changes.”

Leads in Hyros move through stages, and this trigger fires whenever the current stage of one of them changes. It is the closest thing to a pipeline alert the app gives you through Zapier.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a closer team wants a call created in Hyros only when a lead reaches the stage that means a meeting is due.
Watch out
without a filter on the new stage, every move starts the Zap, including the ones you do not care about.
5

Lead Tag Added

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when one or more tags are added to a lead.”

Tags are how Hyros labels leads, and this trigger wakes up when one or several tags land on a lead in a single change. Since tags often mark a funnel step, it doubles as a progress signal.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a coaching business tags applicants who filled the qualification form and wants an order draft prepared with Create Cart.
Watch out
if the action of this Zap adds a tag to the same lead, it can set itself off again and burn tasks fast.
6

Lead Tag Removed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when one or more tags are removed from a lead.”

The mirror of the previous one: it starts the Zap when one or more tags are taken off a lead. Removal is often the quiet signal that someone left a sequence or lost a status.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a membership site removes a buyer tag after a chargeback and wants the matching subscription updated in Hyros.
Watch out
removing several tags in one go is one event, so do not expect one run per tag.
7

New Call Attributed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new call attributed is created.”

When Hyros creates a new attributed call, meaning a booked call it has tied back to a source, the Zap starts. For businesses that sell on the phone, this is the event that shows which traffic fills the calendar.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a high-ticket sales team wants the lead moved to a new stage with Update Lead as soon as the call is attributed.
Watch out
putting Create Call in this same Zap writes where the trigger watches, which can set it off again and again.
8

New Sale Attributed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new sale attributed is created.”

Fires on each new sale Hyros attributes, so the Zap runs once the purchase is known and credited to its source. It is the natural starting point for a revenue alert built on Hyros data.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
an ad agency wants every attributed sale to trigger an update on the buyer's lead record for its own follow-up.
Watch out
an order you push with Create Order may come back here as a new sale, so avoid writing an order in this same Zap.
9

Sale Refunded

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a sale is refunded”

As soon as a sale is marked as refunded in Hyros, this trigger starts the Zap. Since the trigger is instant, the follow-up runs while the refund is fresh.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a digital product seller wants the related subscription paused in Hyros with Update Subscription the moment the money goes back.
Watch out
using Refund Order in the same Zap would refund again what already started it, which makes no sense.
10

Subscription Created

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new subscription is created.”

A new subscription recorded in Hyros starts the Zap. It gives recurring revenue its own starting event, separate from one-off sales.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a SaaS founder selling through webinars wants each new plan holder tagged on their lead through Update Lead.
Watch out
adding Create Subscription to this same Zap writes where the trigger watches and can set it off again.
11

Subscription Status Changed

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when the status of a subscription changes.”

Fires whenever the status of an existing subscription moves, for example from active to something else. It is the event to watch for churn, pauses and reactivations alike.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a community owner wants the lead updated only when a subscription leaves the paying status, which a filter after the trigger handles.
Watch out
a filter makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan; on the free plan, every status change runs the action.
Actions

The 22 Hyros actions

Hyros gives you 22 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Call

Action

In Zapier“Create a call in Hyros.”

Logs a call in Hyros. The required Call Name does double duty: Hyros builds the call Tag from it automatically, so pick a name you will want to filter on.

When to use it
a booking tool confirms an appointment and the sales team wants that call credited to its source.
2

Create Cart

Action

In Zapier“Creates a cart with multiple items on Hyros.”

Opens a cart holding several items in Hyros, each with the required Name of the product, so you can see who started buying without finishing.

When to use it
an abandoned-checkout flow wants the cart in Hyros before the order exists.
3

Create Click

Action

In Zapier“Creates a click with the URL the user clicked on and a session id representing the potential lead session. Optionally includes an email to create a lead, and ad data.”

Stores a click with the URL that was visited, required as Referrer URL, and a session ID for the possible lead. Add an email and Hyros creates the lead too; add ad data and Is Organic to describe where it came from.

When to use it
traffic from a page Hyros does not script still needs to show in the journey.
4

Create Product

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new product in Hyros. Changes can take a few moments to appear.”

Adds a product to your Hyros catalogue. The Name needs at least three characters and the Price takes digits only, with up to two decimals and no currency sign or thousands separator.

When to use it
a new offer goes live and you want it priced in Hyros before the first sale.
Watch out
it can take a few moments before the product appears.
5

Create Source

Action

In Zapier“Creates a source in Hyros. Sources can be organic or tied to an ad platform.”

Creates a traffic source under the Name you will see in Hyros. Tick Is Organic for unpaid traffic, or Is Disregard to keep the source out when Hyros attributes sales.

When to use it
a partner starts sending traffic and you want the source ready before the clicks arrive.
6

Create Subscription

Action

In Zapier“Creates a subscription in Hyros and attributes it to a lead. Changes are asynchronous and can take a few minutes to appear.”

Sets up a subscription and attributes it to a lead. Four fields are required: Price, Start Date, Status and Periodicity, the last one being how often it is billed.

When to use it
your billing tool handles recurring plans and Hyros needs to see them as recurring revenue.
Watch out
the write is asynchronous and can take a few minutes to show.
7

Delete Call

Action

In Zapier“Delete a call by its id.”

Erases a call from Hyros, given its Call id.

When to use it
a booking was a no-show you never want counted as a conversation, or was entered twice.
Watch out
Retrieve Calls can fetch the id first if the trigger does not carry it.
8

Delete Lead

Action

In Zapier“Permanently deletes a lead and its personal data in Hyros. This is asynchronous and can take a few minutes to apply.”

Removes a lead permanently, together with its personal data. The deletion runs in the background and can take a few minutes to apply.

When to use it
someone asks for their data to be erased and you want Hyros cleaned along with your other tools.
Watch out
there is no way back once it has run.
9

Delete Product

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a product in Hyros. This cannot be undone.”

Removes a product, using the Product ID that Retrieve Products hands back. Hyros states this cannot be undone.

When to use it
an offer is retired for good and you want the catalogue tidy.
Watch out
run it only when you are sure, since no step restores it.
10

Delete Source

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a source in Hyros. The source stops appearing in attribution.”

Deletes a source, which then disappears from your attribution reports.

When to use it
a source was created by mistake and clutters the reports.
Watch out
if you only want it left out of attribution, Update Source with Disregard does that without deleting it.
11

Create Lead

Action

In Zapier“Creates a lead in Hyros.”

Adds a new lead to Hyros, which is the base record every sale, call and click hangs from later.

When to use it
a lead comes in through a channel Hyros does not track on its own and you still want it in the attribution.
Watch out
the write is processed in the background; Check Request Status tells you when the lead can actually be read.
12

Update Lead

Action

In Zapier“Updates a lead in Hyros. Changes are asynchronous and can take a few minutes to appear.”

Changes an existing lead in Hyros. Nothing is visible right away: the update is queued and can take a few minutes before you see it on the lead.

When to use it
a trigger in this page tells you something new about a person and the lead record should reflect it.
Watch out
a step that reads the lead straight after may still see the old values.
13

Create Order

Action

In Zapier“Creates an order in Hyros with one or more line items and attributes it to a lead.”

Records a purchase with one or more line items and attributes it to the lead, found through the required Email field. Each item needs a Name and a Price.

When to use it
your checkout sends sales to Zapier but not to Hyros, and you want them credited to the right ad.
Watch out
turn on Is Rebill only for a recurring charge, since the sale is then flagged recurring even the first time.
14

Refund Order

Action

In Zapier“Refunds an order on Hyros by Order ID.”

Marks an order as refunded in Hyros. It is found by the Order ID that identifies it in the app you integrate with, not an internal Hyros number.

When to use it
your payment processor issues a refund and the revenue in Hyros should drop at the same time.
15

Delete Sale

Action

In Zapier“Deletes a sale in Hyros. This is asynchronous and can take a few minutes to apply.”

Takes a sale out of Hyros by its Sale ID. Like several writes here, it is asynchronous and lands after a few minutes.

When to use it
a test purchase or a duplicate is skewing your revenue figures and has to go.
Watch out
Find Sales can fetch the ID first.
16

Update Sale

Action

In Zapier“Updates one or more sales in Hyros. Changes are asynchronous and can take a few minutes to appear.”

Changes one or more sales at once: up to 50 Sale IDs separated by commas. Is Refunded and Is Recurring Sale can be switched; leave a box blank to keep the current value.

When to use it
a batch of sales was flagged wrongly and needs fixing in one step.
Watch out
changes are asynchronous and appear after a few minutes.
17

Update Call

Action

In Zapier“Update a call in hyros”

Edits a call already logged in Hyros. The Name is required each time you run it, even when you only meant to fix another detail, so map it from the trigger or retype it.

When to use it
a call gets rescheduled or renamed in your calendar tool and Hyros should carry the same label.
18

Update Cart

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing cart and its lead information in Hyros.”

Edits a cart that exists already, along with the lead information attached to it. The Cart ID is the one required field.

When to use it
a shopper adds an item or corrects an email before paying, and the cart in Hyros should follow.
19

Update Product

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing product in Hyros.”

Edits an existing product, found by the Product ID a Retrieve Products step returns. Recurring and Call Product cannot both be on. Update Historical Sales applies the new cost to past sales, which changes their profit and ROAS.

When to use it
a supplier cost moves and margins must follow.
Watch out
unticking Update Historical Sales later does not undo sales already rewritten.
20

Update Order

Action

In Zapier“Updates an existing order in Hyros.”

Edits an order already in Hyros. You give the Order ID, and the Name and Price of the item are required again, even if only one of them changes.

When to use it
a price was entered wrong at checkout and the order must match what was really paid.
21

Update Source

Action

In Zapier“Updates a source in Hyros. Only the fields you fill in are changed.”

Edits a source, picked from the list or typed as its tag with the @ prefix. Only the fields you fill in change; Organic and Disregard work as on creation.

When to use it
a campaign you paid for becomes organic content and the source should say so.
22

Update Subscription

Action

In Zapier“Updates one or more subscriptions in Hyros. Changes are asynchronous and can take a few minutes to appear.”

Changes up to 50 subscriptions in one run, identified by their Subscription IDs.

When to use it
a refund or a cancellation elsewhere must be reflected on the plan in Hyros.
Watch out
the update is queued and can take a few minutes to show.
Searches

The 20 Hyros searches

20 search steps look for data that already exists in Hyros, so a later step can use it.

Searches sit at the bottom of the event list in the editor, under the SEARCH heading of Action event. Some action fields also offer + Add search step, which drops a search just before the current step and wires its result in. A search makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan. Three settings decide what happens when the answer is not clean.

1

Find Ads

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves the ads tracked in the Hyros account, with their source and ad platform. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Lists the ads Hyros tracks in your account, each with its source and the ad platform it runs on, so later steps can work from real IDs instead of typed ones.

When to use it
a later step needs an Ad ID, for instance to feed Find Marginal CAC Curve at ad level.
2

Ad Accounts

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves the active ad accounts connected to the Hyros account. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Returns the ad accounts currently active and connected to Hyros.

Like most searches here, Hyros recommends a Zapier loop to go through the results one by one.

When to use it
you want the Ad Account ID that Find Ad Account Report and the account level of other reports expect.
3

Find Ad Account Report

Search

In Zapier“Runs the Hyros attribution report grouped by ad account, returning the metrics you choose over a date range. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Runs the attribution report grouped by ad account. You set the Ad Account, the Fields, the Attribution Model and a Start and End Date; options exclude recurring sales or hard costs, or attribute by sale date.

When to use it
a client wants their account figures sent out each time a sale is attributed.
Watch out
one ad account per request.
4

Attribution Report

Search

In Zapier“Runs the Hyros attribution report for one or more ads, campaigns or sources over a date range, returning the metrics you choose. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

The broader report: one or more ads, campaigns or sources over a date range, with the metrics you choose. Level is required, and options exclude recurring sales or hard costs; Is Ad Account Id is one more setting.

When to use it
you compare a handful of campaigns side by side rather than a whole account.
5

Find Carts

Search

In Zapier“Search and retrieve carts by creation date, purchased state (whether the cart has an associated order or not), email and lead id. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Looks up carts by creation date, email, lead ID, and whether they turned into an order. Leave Purchased blank to get both kinds, or set it to keep only abandoned or only paid carts.

When to use it
you need the Cart ID before an Update Cart step.
6

Find Domains

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves the tracking domains configured on the Hyros account. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Lists the tracking domains set up on your Hyros account. It is a quick check inside a longer Zap.

When to use it
an agency running several client funnels wants to check which domain a Zap should point clicks at.
7

Find Lead Clicks

Search

In Zapier“Retrieve the clicks belonging to a lead, by lead ID or email. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Brings back the clicks of one lead, looked up by lead ID or by email, so you can see the trail of visits Hyros recorded for that person.

When to use it
before a call, a closer wants to know which pages the prospect clicked through, without logging into Hyros.
8

Find Lead Journey

Search

In Zapier“Retrieve the full journey of one or more leads: their sales, calls, carts, subscriptions and linked leads. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Returns the whole journey of one or more leads: sales, calls, carts, subscriptions and linked leads. Turn on Include Events to add a dated list of events such as clicks and page views; it is off by default.

When to use it
a refund comes in and you want the full history next to it.
9

Find Source

Search

In Zapier“Finds sources in Hyros by ad platform and ad id, one page at a time. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Finds sources by ad platform and ad ID, one page of results at a time. Organic and disregarded sources stay out unless you tick Include Organic or Include Disregarded.

When to use it
you need the exact source before Update Source or Delete Source.
10

Find Subscriptions

Search

In Zapier“Finds subscriptions matching the given filters. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Returns the subscriptions that match the filters you set, which is the way to get Subscription IDs when the trigger of your Zap did not bring them along.

When to use it
a lead asks to cancel and you need their Subscription IDs for Update Subscription, up to 50 at once.
11

Find Tags With Lead Counts

Search

In Zapier“List your created tags along with the count of leads that have each tag. A lead that has several of your tags is counted once for each of those tags. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Lists the tags you created with the number of leads carrying each. A lead with several of your tags is counted once per tag, so totals overlap.

When to use it
you track how many leads sit at each funnel tag without opening the app.
12

Find Keywords

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves the Google Ads keywords tracked in the Hyros account. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Pulls the Google Ads keywords Hyros tracks in your account.

Hyros recommends a Zapier loop to work through the keywords one by one, since the search hands back a list.

When to use it
a search marketer wants the keyword list next to sales data in a later step of the same Zap.
13

Find Leads

Search

In Zapier“Search and retrieve leads by their creation date, email, tag, phone, stage or id. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Looks up leads by creation date, email, tag, phone, stage or ID. The spread of criteria makes it the usual bridge between a tool that knows a person one way and Hyros, which knows them another.

When to use it
another tool only knows the phone number and Hyros must tell you which lead it is.
14

Find Marginal CAC Curve

Search

In Zapier“Gets the cost of acquiring the next customer at every daily spend level for an ad, campaign, source or ad account, plus the spend level past which the next dollar is wasted. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Gives the cost of the next customer at every daily spend level, plus the point past which the next dollar is wasted. Level and ID are required; the ID comes from Find Ads or Ad Accounts depending on the level.

When to use it
a media buyer sets budgets and wants the ceiling before scaling.
15

Check Request Status

Search

In Zapier“Checks the status of an asynchronous write by its Request ID. Most useful after Create Lead, Update Lead or Delete Lead, where the status turns to Processed only once the lead is actually readable. For other entity types the status reports completion of the queued write, not readability. Request statuses expire after 2 hours.”

Checks where an asynchronous write stands, from its Request ID. After Create Lead, Update Lead or Delete Lead, the status turns to Processed only once the lead can really be read; for other writes it only confirms the queued job ran.

When to use it
a step depends on the lead being there.
Watch out
statuses expire after two hours.
16

Retrieve Calls

Search

In Zapier“Search and retrieve calls by their join date, email, lead id, product tag or id. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Searches calls by join date, email, lead ID, product tag or ID. It is the step that hands you a call to edit or remove when the trigger of your Zap speaks about the lead, not the call.

When to use it
you need a Call id for Update Call or Delete Call.
17

Retrieve Products

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves products in Hyros by name, tag, category or recurrence. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Finds products by name, tag, category or recurrence, and returns the Product ID that Update Product and Delete Product ask for. Without it, you would have to copy that ID by hand from Hyros.

When to use it
a price change in your shop has to reach the right Hyros product.
18

Find ROAS

Search

In Zapier“Gets the revenue an ad, campaign, source or ad account actually earned over a date range, with cost, ROAS and customer metrics. Uses last-click attribution. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Shows the revenue an ad, campaign, source or ad account really earned over a date range, with cost, ROAS and customer metrics. It uses last-click attribution. Level, Start Date and End Date are required.

When to use it
a founder wants the ROAS of one campaign pulled whenever a sale lands.
19

Find Sales

Search

In Zapier“Search and retrieve sales by their creation date, email, lead id, product tag or id. We recommend using a Zapier loop to iterate over the results.”

Searches sales by creation date, email, lead ID, product tag or ID.

When to use it
you need Sale IDs for Update Sale or Delete Sale.
Watch out
its Is Recurring Sale filter is not the same true or false field as in Update Sale.
20

Find User Info

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves the profile, tracking settings and connected client accounts of the Hyros account the API key belongs to.”

Returns the profile, the tracking settings and the connected client accounts of the Hyros account behind your connection. In other words, the account your Zap is plugged into.

When to use it
an agency with several clients checks which account a Zap is really writing to.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there, and the steps that depend on it are skipped. Switch it on and the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into a find-or-create on apps that offer it. Hyros has no find-or-create variant, so you will not see it on these searches.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out when several items match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass all of them on together.
When it breaks

When a Hyros Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Hyros, so what follows is what breaks on any Zap, read through the Hyros operations.

Four cases cover what you are likely to hit. If one of them keeps coming back, Zapier troubleshooting walks through the fixes.

  • Nothing before the Zap was switched on

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Sales and leads already in Hyros are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

Write into the place your trigger watches, like Create Order under New Sale Attributed, and the Zap can start itself again and again, eating tasks fast.
  • A sudden flood of events

A bulk import that fires hundreds of opt-ins or tags at once can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running straight through.
  • Writes that show up late

Create Subscription, Update Lead, Update Sale, Delete Lead and Delete Sale are asynchronous. A step that reads right after may see old data; Check Request Status confirms the lead is ready.

FAQ

Hyros Zapier integration: your questions

01Is the Hyros Zapier integration free?
Yes, as long as your Zap has two steps. Hyros is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The catch is that the free plan only builds one trigger and one action. A filter, a search or a second action turns the Zap multi-step, and that needs a paid plan. Since every Hyros search lives in that multi-step zone, reports like Find ROAS are effectively paid-plan territory.
02How many tasks does a Hyros Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, nothing for the trigger. A Zap that starts on New Sale Attributed and runs Update Lead costs one task per sale. Add a second action and each sale costs two. An action that fails is not billed. On the free plan that means 100 successful actions a month, which goes quickly if a trigger like Lead Opted In fires on every sign-up, repeats included.
03Do Hyros triggers run in real time?
All 11 are instant: Hyros tells Zapier the moment the event happens and the Zap starts right away, on any plan. The polling interval of the plans, 15 minutes on Free, does not apply to them, so a free account gets the same speed on the trigger side as an Enterprise one. What can lag is the other side: several Hyros writes, such as Update Lead or Create Subscription, are asynchronous and can take a few minutes before you see the change in Hyros.
04What does it take to connect Hyros to Zapier?
A Hyros account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. In Zapier you open Apps, click + Add connection, search for Hyros, click Add connection, sign in to Hyros in the new tab and grant access. The connection is reused by every Zap afterwards, so it is a one-time setup per account. If you manage several client accounts, Find User Info tells you which one a connection points to.
05Why can't the next step find a lead that was just created?
Because Create Lead, Update Lead and Delete Lead are asynchronous: Hyros queues the write and applies it a little later. A search placed right after may not find the lead yet, and the Zap then stops or carries on empty-handed depending on your search settings. Check Request Status takes the Request ID and reports Processed only once the lead can be read. Keep in mind that these statuses expire after two hours, so check while the request is recent.
06What if the Hyros operation you need is not on the list?
Then the Zap cannot do it directly, because Zapier offers the 53 operations listed on this page. Look first for a combination: a search to fetch an ID, then an update action, often covers the gap, as with Retrieve Products before Update Product. If the step really does not exist, the same app may be reachable from another automation platform, and comparing what each one exposes is the sensible next move.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Hyros?
It depends on your criteria rather than on a winner. On Zapier, Hyros comes with 11 instant triggers, 22 actions and 20 searches, ready to use without code, and it is not a premium app. If you plan many multi-step Zaps, the cost per task and the plan you need weigh more. The free plan is enough for a single trigger and action, but every Hyros search needs a paid plan. Compare the operations each platform exposes for Hyros before choosing.
