ScoreApp alternatives: where to go and how to move your scorecards

Nine alternatives, matched to the reason you're leaving, plus a seven-step migration plan.

Short answer: Interact for more leads per dollar, LeadQuizzes if you push paid traffic at volume, Outgrow for quizzes plus calculators under $30 a month, involve.me if the quiz also needs to price a quote or take payment, Pointerpro if the PDF report is the product, ConvertFlow if the quiz lives on your site as a funnel, Riddle if your data must stay in the EU, Typeform if brand matters more than volume, Tally if the budget is zero. One thing to know first: ScoreApp exports leads and answers as CSV, not your questions, scoring or result pages. You rebuild those. We compared all nine on their official pricing pages in 2026.

The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.

The real reasons

Why teams end up leaving ScoreApp

ScoreApp, co-founded by Daniel Priestley of Scorecard Marketing fame, made the B2B scorecard mainstream, and its customers like it: 4.8 out of 5 across 160+ Trustpilot reviews, with the human support team named in review after review. People don't leave over the format. They leave over caps, the price of the advanced features, and needing more than one format.

100 responses on the entry plan

Starter is $39 a month ($30 billed yearly) for 3 live scorecards and 100 responses. A LinkedIn post that lands can blow through that in days. Per response, you pay about 30 cents. Interact Lite works out to roughly 5 cents a lead at 500 leads.

PDF reports and abandon emails cost $99

The two features that turn a score into a booked call, the dynamic PDF report and the email to people who quit halfway, start on Business at $99 a month ($75 yearly). So do your custom domain, the Facebook pixel and Google Analytics. That's a $60 monthly jump from Starter.

Two caps at once

Every plan caps both live scorecards (3, 10, 30) and monthly responses. A consultant with one assessment per offer, or an agency running one per client, upgrades for the scorecard count even with modest traffic.

The scorecard shuts off at 120%

Past your quota, ScoreApp keeps collecting to 120% but hides the lead details until you pay more. At 120%, it stops taking new leads until the next cycle. If the scorecard is your homepage CTA, that's a silent hole in your pipeline.

One format, desktop-first

ScoreApp does scored assessments, not personality quizzes, calculators or payment forms. Competitors also call out pages that feel squeezed on mobile and a tab-heavy editor, and the few critical Trustpilot reviews mention occasional slowness and long setup. If your traffic comes from Instagram, check the mobile view before paying yearly.

No trial on paid plans

You get the Free plan (1 scorecard, 10 responses) and a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, but no trial of Business or Pro. You can't check the PDF report or abandon email on your own leads before paying.

9 alternatives

ScoreApp alternatives, tool by tool

For each tool: why move there, who it fits, the catch, how to rebuild your scorecard on it, and what it costs. Prices come from the official pricing pages in 2026, in US dollars.

01

Interact: more leads for the same money

Best leads per dollar

Why switch to Interact. Same budget, five times the contacts. Lite costs $27 a month billed yearly for 25 quizzes and 500 leads a month, against $30 for 3 scorecards and 100 responses on ScoreApp Starter. Interact handles scored quizzes (points route people to an outcome) as well as personality quizzes, and its templates are among the most polished around.

Who it's for. Coaches, creators and small businesses growing an email list with a diagnostic or recommendation quiz.

Who should skip it. Consultancies that sell on a detailed PDF: Interact shows a results page, not a question-by-question report.

The catch. Interact branding stays on Lite; removing it takes Growth ($53 a month yearly, 2,000 leads). The free plan (5 quizzes, 100 leads) pauses quizzes at 100 responses and has no integrations.

How to migrate. Rebuild your questions as a scored quiz, set point ranges for each outcome, and paste your ScoreApp result copy into each range. Connect your email tool natively (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign) or through Zapier, and use the 7-day trial to check the full flow before paying.

involve.me: when the quiz must quote or take payment

Scoring + payments

Why switch to involve.me. ScoreApp stops at the score. involve.me puts a scored quiz, a pricing formula (a quote calculated from answers), a payment form and result pages in one funnel. Answer scoring is included on every plan.

Who it's for. Agencies and service firms that qualify and sell in the same flow: free audit, then a priced proposal.

Who should skip it. Anyone who just wants a cheap scorecard: live funnel caps are tight.

The catch. Start is $29 a month billed yearly ($49 monthly) for 3 live funnels, and the involve.me watermark can't be removed. Grow, at $69 ($99 monthly), drops it and adds a custom domain. The 14-day trial of a paid plan asks you to pick that plan and enter billing details.

How to migrate. Start from a quiz template, switch on scoring per answer, and add one result page per score range. Keep the same number of questions as your ScoreApp version so your old completion rate stays a fair benchmark. Cancel before day 14 if it isn't a fit.

Outgrow: quizzes, calculators and surveys under $30

Most formats per dollar

Why switch to Outgrow. You keep the scored assessment and gain ROI and pricing calculators, polls, surveys and chatbots. Freelancer Limited costs $14 a month billed yearly for 250 leads; Freelancer Pro is $25 for 1,000 leads. At 1,000 responses, that's a third of ScoreApp Business billed yearly ($25 against $75).

Who it's for. Solo marketers and small teams who want several interactive formats wired into their CRM.

Who should skip it. Teams with several seats: the jump to multi-user plans is steep.

The catch. Freelancer plans cap the number of content types (5 or 7). Essentials moves to $95 a month yearly ($115 monthly) and Business to $600 ($720). Trustpilot reviewers flag paid add-ons and quiet auto-renewals. More in our Outgrow review.

How to migrate. Pick the assessment format, copy your questions, and give each answer the same points it had in ScoreApp. Rebuild your result ranges, and put the renewal date in your calendar. The 7-day trial opens the Business plan with no card: build everything in that week, then pick the plan you actually need.

LeadQuizzes: the most responses per dollar

High volume

Why switch to LeadQuizzes. It does one job: capture leads with quizzes at volume. Standard costs $37 a month billed yearly ($49 monthly) for 2,500 responses a month, 25 times ScoreApp Starter's quota for a few dollars more. Pro gives you 5,000 responses for $74 ($99 monthly).

Who it's for. Advertisers sending paid traffic to a quiz who pay for leads, not reports.

Who should skip it. B2B firms that need an in-depth report: LeadQuizzes shows an outcome, not a breakdown.

The catch. Overage on Standard is $15 per extra 250 responses. The pricing page contradicts itself on how many websites each plan includes depending on billing, so get it in writing. No free plan, but a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee on annual plans.

How to migrate. Start from a template, port your questions and outcome ranges, and connect your CRM or email tool. Keep the same headline as your ScoreApp scorecard in your ads for two weeks so you compare cost per lead on equal terms.

Pointerpro: when the PDF report is the product

PDF reports

Why switch to Pointerpro. This Belgian vendor built its tool around assessments and computed reports. On Plus, every respondent gets a personalized PDF with their scores, your charts and your recommendations. For consultancies, training firms and HR teams who sell on diagnostic quality, it's a step up from ScoreApp.

Who it's for. Consultants and B2B firms who deliver a real report and want an EU-based vendor.

Who should skip it. A solo coach with a lead-gen quiz: report plans are annual and pricey.

The catch. Lite ($109 a month, or $1,099 a year) gives 1,000 responses but "personalized reports not included." Core (from $2,799 a year) adds HTML reports; personalized PDFs need Plus, from $4,999 a year. The free plan keeps 3 questionnaires and 20 responses.

How to migrate. Rebuild your scoring question by question, then your report in the report editor. That's the slow part: budget a few days for a multi-page report. Use the 14-day trial to have two or three clients check the PDF before you commit to a year.

ConvertFlow: the quiz as an on-site funnel

On-site funnels

Why switch to ConvertFlow. ScoreApp sends visitors to a separate landing page. ConvertFlow runs quiz funnels inside your own site, as popups, sticky bars or embeds, and personalizes what comes next based on answers. Your SEO traffic never leaves your domain.

Who it's for. Ecommerce brands and SaaS marketers who already have traffic and want to qualify it in place.

Who should skip it. Consultants without a busy website: you pay by funnel views, so it pays off only with traffic.

The catch. Personal costs $25 a month billed yearly ($29 monthly) for up to 10,000 funnel views; Prime is $83 ($99) for 30,000. The free plan launches 5 campaigns.

How to migrate. Rebuild the questions as a multi-step funnel, tag each answer, and route visitors to a result step by tag. Then replace every ScoreApp link on your site with the ConvertFlow trigger. Launch on the free plan first (5 campaigns) to compare completion rates before you pay.

Riddle: unlimited leads and EU data

GDPR

Why switch to Riddle. Two things ScoreApp doesn't offer. Leads are unlimited on every plan, so no 120% cutoff. And data sits in Germany and Luxembourg, with ISO 27001 certification, which matters when your prospects are in Europe.

Who it's for. Publishers, brands and organizations that run lots of quizzes and answer to a legal team.

Who should skip it. A solo consultant: the entry ticket is high for a few hundred responses.

The catch. No free plan. Pro is $119 a month billed yearly ($129 monthly), Business $349 ($399). Caps apply to concurrent participants, not leads. Riddle leans toward interactive content more than B2B diagnostic reports.

How to migrate. The 14-day trial needs no card and unlocks everything; when it ends, quizzes are unpublished but nothing is deleted. Rebuild your quiz with one outcome per score range, connect your email tool, and sign the data processing agreement before your first real lead. 30-day money-back guarantee.

Typeform: the best-looking option, not the cheapest

Design

Why switch to Typeform. One question per screen, clean layouts, and a quiz mode that calculates a score or routes to an outcome. If brand matters more than volume, it's the most pleasant form to fill in.

Who it's for. Brands expecting a few hundred responses a month who want the quiz to look like them.

Who should skip it. Anyone leaving ScoreApp over the quota: Basic also caps at 100 responses.

The catch. Basic is $28 a month billed yearly ($39 monthly) for 100 responses, with Typeform branding. Plus is $56 ($79) for 1,000. Responses are stored in the US by default. See our Typeform review.

How to migrate. Turn on quiz mode, choose score, assign points to each answer, and use logic jumps to send each range to its own ending. There's no PDF report: replace it with a results email from your email tool.

Tally: a scored quiz for $0

Free

Why switch to Tally. The free plan keeps unlimited responses. A calculated field adds points per answer into a total, and conditional logic shows a different ending per score range. That's an honest scorecard for nothing.

Who it's for. Consultants validating an assessment before paying for a dedicated tool, or anyone with zero budget.

Who should skip it. People who want rich result pages, reports or abandon emails out of the box.

The catch. No assessment templates: you design the scoring and ranges yourself. Pro, from $24 a month, removes branding and adds your domain. Our Tally review goes deeper.

How to migrate. Create a calculated field called Score, add each answer's points, then one ending per range. Send results by email through Make, Zapier or your email tool. Run ten test submissions with extreme profiles to check every range boundary.

The 9 alternatives compared

Picture 400 responses a month, a normal volume for a scorecard promoted on LinkedIn. On ScoreApp, Starter (100) won't cover it, so you're on Business at $75 a month billed yearly. Interact Lite (500 leads) is $27, Outgrow Freelancer Pro (1,000 leads) $25, LeadQuizzes Standard (2,500 responses) $37, and Tally is free. Only Pointerpro costs more, and it ships a PDF report. One row per tool: free tier on the left, first paid plan and quota on the right.

Migration plan

Moving off ScoreApp in seven steps

Order matters. Each step protects something: your leads, your scoring logic, your traffic or your contacts' consent.

01

Audit every live scorecard

Day 1

For each scorecard, write down the questions, points per answer, score categories, ranges and their result copy, plus the landing page, results email and integrations (CRM, email tool, Zapier). A screenshot per screen is enough.

Record today's numbers too: visits, start rate, completion rate, leads. Without them, you can't tell whether the new tool does better.

Time
1 to 2 hours per scorecard
Risk if rushed
lost scoring logic
02

Export leads one scorecard at a time

Day 1

In ScoreApp, open each scorecard, go to the Leads tab and click Export. You get a CSV with contact details and answers. It's per scorecard, so ten scorecards means ten files.

Scoring rules, result pages and the PDF template don't export. Copy their text into a separate doc.

Format
one CSV per scorecard
03

Rebuild the scoring and test edge cases

Critical

Recreate every question with its points, then run three test submissions: all best answers, all worst, one middle profile. Each must land in the right range. One point off on a boundary sends prospects to the wrong result, and nobody notices.

Tests
3 profiles minimum
04

Rebuild results and follow-up

Create one result page per range, then the email that goes out after completion. If you relied on ScoreApp Business PDFs, choose: Pointerpro for a real report, or a detailed email from your email tool with a booking link. Add abandon recovery back if your new tool supports it.

Risk if rushed
fewer booked calls
05

Import old leads into your CRM, not the quiz tool

Old leads don't belong in the quiz tool. Put them in your CRM or email platform with their score as a custom field. Import them outside your welcome sequences, and only those who opted in to email.

Risk if rushed
spam complaints
06

Swap links and integrations on the same day

Day 0

Replace every ScoreApp link: website buttons, Instagram bio, email signature, ads, printed QR codes. QR codes are the easiest to miss: if you printed some, keep ScoreApp live until they're replaced, or point your own domain at the new tool. Then run one full submission through to the CRM.

Check
one end-to-end submission
07

Cancel at the right time, and export again

Cancel just before renewal: the plan runs to the end of the cycle, then drops to Free. Export once more right before, to catch leads that came in during the switch. ScoreApp deletes accounts after six months of inactivity, so leave nothing there you'll need.

Safeguard
final export before canceling

Migration pitfalls

What makes a ScoreApp switch go wrong

The costly mistakes are almost never technical. They're things people forget, and each one costs leads or misroutes prospects.

Comparing prices without comparing caps

ScoreApp caps scorecards and responses, Interact caps leads, ConvertFlow bills funnel views, Riddle caps concurrent participants. Compare on your numbers: live quizzes and monthly responses. Our marketing quiz maker ranking lists full price grids, and our Outgrow alternatives and Typeform alternatives pages help if your new tool stops fitting.

Changing the questions and the tool at once

Change both in the same month and you'll never know what moved your completion rate. Migrate like for like, measure for two to four weeks, then improve.

Forgetting printed links and old ads

A QR code on a brochure or a forgotten ad keeps sending people to a scorecard that's now in draft. List every entry point before you cancel.

Bundling results with marketing consent

Entering an email to see a score isn't an opt-in to your newsletter. Split the two checkboxes in the new tool, and only add old leads to campaigns if they opted in.

Not checking where data lives

An HR or health assessment collects sensitive answers. Check where responses are stored, sign the data processing agreement, and keep required fields to the minimum.

  • Every scorecard, scoring rule, range and integration documented
  • Current start, completion and lead numbers recorded
  • One CSV per scorecard exported and stored outside ScoreApp
  • Scoring checked with three test profiles
  • Result pages and follow-up email rebuilt
  • Old leads in the CRM, outside welcome sequences
  • Links, ads and QR codes switched
  • Final export right before canceling
FAQ · 8 questions

ScoreApp alternatives: frequently asked questions

  • What is the best free ScoreApp alternative?

Tally, if you're fine building the scoring yourself: the free plan keeps unlimited responses, and a calculated field adds up points per answer. Interact's free plan is closer to a real quiz tool (5 quizzes, 100 leads a month) but pauses the quiz once you hit the cap and has no integrations. ScoreApp's own free tier stops at 10 responses a month. Our Tally review covers the limits.

  • Can I export my ScoreApp scorecards to another tool?

Only the data. You export one scorecard at a time from the Leads tab, as a CSV with contact details and every answer. Questions, scoring rules, result pages and the PDF report template stay inside ScoreApp. Screenshot every screen and copy your result copy into a doc before you cancel.

  • What happens to my leads if I cancel ScoreApp?

You keep them. The paid plan runs to the end of the billing cycle, then the account drops to Free: past leads stay visible, but your scorecards go to draft and offline, along with custom domains and PDF reports. One catch: ScoreApp deletes accounts that sit inactive for six months, so export before you forget about it.

  • What happens when I go over my ScoreApp response limit?

ScoreApp keeps collecting up to 120% of your quota, but hides lead details past 100% until you upgrade. At 120%, the scorecard stops accepting new leads until the next billing cycle. On Starter, that means respondent number 121 hits a dead end. You can also buy extra responses on a rolling basis.

  • Which ScoreApp alternative generates personalized PDF reports?

Pointerpro, a Belgian vendor built around assessments and computed reports. The catch: personalized PDFs only come with the Plus plan, billed yearly from $4,999. Outgrow and involve.me build personalized result pages and follow-up emails, which is enough for most consultants. For Outgrow's tiers in detail, see our Outgrow pricing breakdown.

  • Is Interact better than ScoreApp?

For list building, yes; for sales assessments, no. At a similar price (Lite at $27 a month billed yearly vs Starter at $30), Interact gives you 500 leads a month against ScoreApp's 100 responses. ScoreApp still wins when the score has to open a sales call with a detailed report. Our marketing quiz maker ranking compares both with five more tools.

  • Is there a GDPR-friendly ScoreApp alternative?

Riddle hosts data in Germany and Luxembourg and lists ISO 27001 certification from its first paid plan. Pointerpro is based in Belgium. Typeform keeps EU data residency for Enterprise. Whatever you pick, ask for the data processing agreement and subprocessor list before you import leads from EU prospects.

  • Do I need fresh consent when I move leads out of ScoreApp?

Not if you only move people who agreed to hear from you, and you keep the proof (the CSV has their answers and when they took the scorecard). Getting a score is not the same as opting into marketing email. If your form bundled both, import those contacts without enrolling them in campaigns.
