Claude Cloverleaf connectorWhat Claude can do in your Cloverleaf account.

The Claude Cloverleaf connector exposes 6 tools: 5 for reading, 1 for writing. They turn the DISC, 16 Types, Enneagram and Motivating Values results your team already has into advice for a real conversation. Below: what Claude sees, what it starts, and who switches it on.

Overview

What changes before a tricky one-to-one

Generic advice on giving feedback ignores who is on the other side of the table. Once Cloverleaf is connected, Claude looks up the colleague you name, reads the profile built from their completed assessments, and shapes its suggestions around how that person and you actually tend to work.

Prepare a hard conversation. You need to tell a peer their deadline slipped: search finds them in your organisation, fetch opens their profile, and fetchUserPersonalityDynamicsPairs returns how the two of you are likely to read each other.

See the dynamic, not just read about it. renderRelationshipDynamics lays out where two to four people align, where they may clash and what each one needs, as an interactive card in the chat.

Keep going after the talk. If you want ongoing nudges on the topic, startCoachingPlan starts a Cloverleaf coaching plan, but only once you say yes.

What it does not do: it does not reach colleagues who have not completed an assessment, and it shows only people and insights you could already see in Cloverleaf. The directory sheet states that no conversation content is stored. It will not prompt you before a meeting either; it acts only when you ask. Scheduled reminders tied to your calendar are the territory of automation tools, listed on the Integrations hub.

Vocabulary

Five words before you plug it in

The vocabulary of Claude's settings, in plain terms.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can draw on it while it answers you.
Tool
One named action a connector opens to Claude. Claude decides which to call on its own, and the directory sheet lists every one by name.
Authorization
Cloverleaf's own sign-in screen, where you grant Claude the access it will use. Given once per person and revocable whenever you like.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for in the chat before it carries out something that changes your account on your behalf.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude speak to an outside service in the first place.
Connect

Plug Cloverleaf into Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Cloverleaf in Claude

Open Customize, then Connectors, and look for Cloverleaf. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable the connector before members can sign in one by one.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Hit Connect on its row, then sign in to Cloverleaf in the window Cloverleaf opens. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again from the same place.

  3. 03

    Read the permissions

Cloverleaf's screen lists what it will allow, from your basic profile and email to your assessments and coaching data. It belongs to Cloverleaf, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. Validate it only once you have read it.

Tools

The 6 tools, sorted by what they do

Cloverleaf gives Claude 6 tools: 5 that read your account, 1 that change something in it.

Five read and display, one starts something in your account. Names stay in English, exactly as Claude shows them.

What Claude reads (5)

5 tools

Five tools that look up people and show their profiles or dynamics in the chat.

fetch

Opens the personality and coaching profile of a person Claude has just found, yourself included, so its advice rests on that person's actual assessment results rather than on a guess.

When it helps
a new manager wants to know how a report prefers to receive direction before their first one-to-one.

fetchUserPersonalityDynamicsPairs

Returns a set of statements about how two or more people are likely to interact, framed by direction rather than by name. Claude then keeps only the few that fit the moment.

When it helps
two team leads keep talking past each other in planning meetings and you want to know why.
Watch out
it returns many points; Cloverleaf's own guidance is to pick a handful, not dump them all.

renderCoachingFocus

Displays, at the end of a coaching exchange, a short set of focus options tailored to the situation you just discussed, so you can pick what to work on next.

When it helps
after preparing a feedback talk, you want one concrete next step instead of a wall of tips.

renderRelationshipDynamics

Draws an interactive card for two to four people and a given situation, showing where they align, where friction may come from and what each person needs.

When it helps
a project lead is putting three strong personalities on one launch and wants to anticipate tension.
Watch out
only colleagues with completed assessments can appear on the card.

What Claude starts (1)

1 tool

One tool that opens a coaching plan in Cloverleaf, and only after you agree.

startCoachingPlan

Asks you first

Launches an ongoing Cloverleaf coaching plan on a topic from your conversation, written as a first-person focus statement, so the coaching continues in Cloverleaf after the chat ends.

What Claude asks for
Cloverleaf's own coaching guidance has Claude call it only after you explicitly say yes, with that consent passed along.
When it helps
you want a few nudges before every one-to-one with a demanding stakeholder.

Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it takes on an account in your place. Here the one tool that writes has its own consent step on top.

On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without being asked every time, and they can limit what a connector may do for the whole organisation, keeping reading open and closing writing, for example. That setting binds everyone. Claude works with the rights of the person connected and nothing more. The official read-only versus write-delete label per tool lives only in a signed-in account's settings.

Plans

Which plans can use it

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows availability by plan. That answer, connector by connector, is published nowhere: a genuine gap in the catalogue.

The general rule is public. Remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile; desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables a connector for the organisation before members can connect. Cloverleaf's help article names plans of its own, set side by side in the limits section. For the live status, open the Cloverleaf sheet in the official directory from your own account.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you, and nothing fires by itself when a meeting is booked or a review cycle opens.

Only Cloverleaf documents this connector; neither Claude's help centre nor Anthropic's developer docs have a page for it. The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise, and the directory's verification badge is not a security audit: Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not control the tools a publisher exposes. Plug in only what comes from a publisher you trust. For another sheet read the same way, see the Claude affinity connector.

Two official sources disagree

Which Claude plans can use the Cloverleaf connector?

What this page followsBoth point the same way, but the plan list comes from Cloverleaf, not Anthropic, and neither one is binding for your account. Check the Cloverleaf sheet in the directory from your own account before relying on either.

FAQ

Claude Cloverleaf connector: common questions

01What can Claude do with the Cloverleaf connector?
Claude can find colleagues in your Cloverleaf organisation, open their personality and coaching profiles, and work out how two or more people are likely to interact. It can show those relationship dynamics as an interactive card, offer coaching focus options for the situation you describe, and start an ongoing Cloverleaf coaching plan if you agree. The advice rests on assessments your team already took, such as DISC, 16 Types, Enneagram and Motivating Values.
02Can Claude change anything in my Cloverleaf account?
One tool writes: it starts an ongoing Cloverleaf coaching plan on a topic from your conversation. The other five look people up, open profiles or display dynamics and coaching options in the chat. No source describes Claude editing a profile, altering assessment results or deleting anything. The authorization screen does mention acting on coaching data on your behalf, which is consistent with that single plan-starting tool. A read list is still a floor, not a ceiling.
03Does Claude ask before it acts?
Yes for the coaching plan: Cloverleaf's own coaching guidance has Claude start one only after you explicitly say yes, and the request carries that confirmation. Beyond that, Claude by default asks before any action it takes on an account on your behalf. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let certain actions through without being asked each time, and they can close writing for the whole organisation.
04Which plans is it available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and no directory sheet shows it. The general rule says remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and on Team and Enterprise an Owner or Primary Owner enables each connector first. Cloverleaf's own help article names a plan list, quoted and dated in the limits section. The directory sheet remains the only place that shows the current status for your account.
05Does Claude see everyone's profile in Cloverleaf?
No. Claude surfaces only the people and insights you are already allowed to see in Cloverleaf, and only colleagues who have completed their assessments. It works with your rights, nothing more. Cloverleaf states that no conversation content is stored. Inside the organisation, an admin on the publisher's side decides whether the integration is on at all. Separately, a Claude Owner on Team or Enterprise can restrict or remove the connector for everyone, which no member can override.
06Why does Claude say it has no Cloverleaf data for me?
Usually because the integration has not been switched on inside Cloverleaf. Cloverleaf says an organisation admin must enable the Model Context Protocol card under Configuration, then Integrations, and that this is separate from adding the connector in Claude. Both steps are needed. If a teammate is missing instead, check that they completed their assessments. And if a tool seems absent, confirm the connection in Connectors and refresh the tools list.
07Claude or an automation tool for Cloverleaf?
They cover different needs, so choose by task. Claude, with this connector, coaches you inside a conversation: you describe the situation, it reads the relevant profiles and suggests how to handle it, then it stops. It does not send you a nudge before each meeting or react when someone joins the team. Anything that must run on a schedule or on an event belongs to an automation tool. For preparing a real conversation, the connector fits.
