Overview

What changes for your search team

Instead of opening Conductor, picking the right report, and stacking filters, you ask Claude. It queries your Conductor data on how your brand shows up in AI-generated answers and in traditional results, then hands back a written analysis, numbers included, right in the conversation.

Size up share of voice against rivals. ai_brand_insights shows which brands, yours included, surface in the answers of the AI engines Conductor tracks, along with the tone of those mentions, and narrows down to one prompt group.

See why you get cited, or don't. ai_citation_insights surfaces the domains and pages AI engines cite as sources, so you see which of your pages actually serve as references.

Tie AI search back to classic SEO. keyword_insights brings rankings, seasonality, and result types, while tracked_configs reminds Claude which topics, competitors, and locales you actually track.

What Claude won't do here: per Conductor, these four tools leave your account unchanged and none of them deletes anything. By default, the sheet only exposes reading. Nothing runs on its own either: no Monday report goes out unless someone asks. That job belongs to an automation tool, a different line of work covered on the Integrations hub.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary in one minute

Five words you'll run into when you plug in Conductor.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
A named capability the connector opens to Claude. Claude picks the ones it needs by itself; the directory lists them by name.
Authorization
The service's own sign-in screen, where you hand Claude the access it will use afterward. Given once per person, revocable whenever you want.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before completing anything that changes an account, shown in the conversation at the right moment.
MCP
The shared standard behind connectors: it's what lets an assistant like Claude exchange data with an outside service.
Connect

Plug Conductor into Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Conductor

In Claude's settings, open Customize, then Connectors, and look for Conductor. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner adds it to the organization first, then each member connects.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row, then sign in with your Conductor credentials in the window the service opens itself. A broken link gets fixed with Disconnect and a fresh connection.

  3. 03

    Approve the authorization

Read the authorization screen before you accept. It's Conductor's screen, not Claude's, and it sets what the access covers. You can also revoke it later from your Conductor account.

ai_brand_insights

Measures which brands, yours and your competitors', appear in the answers of the AI engines Conductor tracks. Mention tone, positive, neutral, or negative, belongs to the same data family.

When it helps
ahead of a quarterly review, you want to know on which topics a rival beats you in generated answers.
Watch out
to focus on one campaign or product line, filter on one or more prompt groups.

ai_citation_insights

Surfaces the domains and exact URLs that AI engines cite as sources when they answer. Claude can then tell you which pages on your site earn citations, and for which prompts.

When it helps
your brand gets named often but traffic doesn't follow, and you want to see which pages actually serve as references.
Watch out
two filters tighten the analysis: prompt groups and page groups, such as "Blog Posts" or "Product Pages".

keyword_insights

Returns your traditional search data: rankings on tracked keywords, volume seasonality, result types, and competitive rankings. That lets Claude separate a ranking drop from a plain dip in demand.

When it helps
organic traffic slides in August and you need to know whether it's your rankings or the season.

tracked_configs

Lists, account by account, what your Conductor setup tracks: topics, prompts, brands, competitors, personas, intents, locales, and search engines. It reads that configuration and leaves it exactly as it is.

When it helps
you inherit an account a colleague set up and want to see what's measured before reading any figures.

Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it takes on an account for you. Here, the four tools on the sheet are there to analyze.

On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether a member can let certain actions through without being asked again. They can also cap what a connector does for the whole organization, for example keeping reads and blocking writes, and nobody bypasses that setting from their own account. And Claude works with your permissions, nothing more: a Conductor account you're not a member of stays closed to it.

Plans

Which plans it's available on

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows availability by plan. A connector-by-connector answer isn't published anywhere.

The general rule is sourced: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop, and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector for the organization before each member connects. The publisher says something different, laid side by side in the limits section. For the current status, check the Conductor sheet in the official directory.

Limits

Where Conductor stops

A connector isn't an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: no analysis starts by itself when your visibility drops.

Only the publisher documents this connector: neither Claude's help center nor Anthropic's documentation covers it. The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise. Conductor even announces a fifth tool that the sheet, reread on October 1, doesn't show yet, and notes that its directory version gets new tools after the custom connection does: whatever your account displays is what counts. The directory badge isn't a security audit either. For a connector where reads and writes split differently, see the Claude activecampaign connector page.

Two official sources disagree

Which plans can use this connector in Claude?

What this page followsNeither text is outdated. Anthropic's rule covers every connector, while Conductor's line targets this one, but it's the publisher speaking, not Anthropic. Neither is authoritative for your account: check the directory sheet from your own account.

FAQ

Claude Conductor connector FAQ

01What can Claude do with the Conductor connector?
Claude can analyze your brand's visibility in AI engines and in classic search, using your Conductor data. Its four tools cover brand mentions and their tone, the sources AI engines cite, the rankings and seasonality of your tracked keywords, and the setup of your tracking. You ask in plain language, Claude picks the tools, cross-checks the results, and gives you a written answer inside the conversation, with the supporting figures included.
02Can Claude change my Conductor data?
No, not with this connector as the sheet presents it. Conductor states that its AI search, traditional search, and configuration tools only read and analyze, and that no tool can delete anything. Keep the nuance in mind, though: a sheet that only shows reading is an observed floor, not a guarantee. The publisher also describes beta content-writing tools that were missing from the directory sheet when it was reread on October 1.
03Does Claude ask before it uses Conductor?
By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it takes on an account for you. No source describes a confirmation specific to any of Conductor's four tools, which are there to analyze, so this general rule is what applies. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether members can let some actions through without a new prompt, and they can restrict the connector for the whole organization.
04Which plans is the Conductor connector available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The general rule is that remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop, and mobile, with an Owner enabling them first on Team and Enterprise. The publisher's FAQ names other plans, laid side by side in the limits section. Only the directory sheet shows the current status for your account.
05Does Claude see every Conductor account in my company?
No, Claude works with your permissions and nothing more. Conductor only returns data for the accounts you're a member of: if a colleague sees more accounts than you do, their membership is simply broader. To see more, your Conductor admin has to add you to the missing accounts. On Claude's side, an owner of a Team or Enterprise workspace can also restrict what the connector does for the whole organization.
06Why does Conductor reject my requests after a few questions?
Two publisher limits can kick in. The first is throughput: Conductor accepts 30 requests per hour per user, and 120 per minute across the whole service. The second is a call allotment for your organization, tied to your subscription period: once it's used up, new requests are declined, with no overage billing on Conductor's side. A refusal can also come from a Conductor subscription that doesn't include this access at all.
07Claude or an automation tool for Conductor?
They don't do the same job. With Claude, you query your Conductor data on demand: one question, one analysis, then nothing happens until you type again. The connector doesn't monitor your rankings and doesn't send any report on its own. If you want tracking that runs in the background, or a recurring export to a dashboard, that's what an automation tool is for. To explore and understand your numbers, the connector does the work.
