Claude Eedi connectorWhat Claude can do in your Eedi account.
The Claude Eedi connector exposes 2 tools, and both read. 0 write anything, 0 are undocumented. One searches Eedi's bank of math Diagnostic Questions, the other fetches the ones you pick. Below: what a teacher gets, what Claude never touches, and which locales work.

What a math teacher gets from Claude with Eedi
Eedi publishes Diagnostic Questions: multiple-choice math items where each wrong option points to a specific misconception. With the connector on, you describe the topic you are teaching and Claude goes into that bank itself, then lays the questions out in the conversation instead of sending you to another tab.
A starter question for tomorrow's lesson. You ask for geometry items; Claude runs search_questions, then get_questions on the matches, and shows each one as a card with its stem, its diagram, the right answer with a worked explanation, and every distractor labelled with the mistake it catches.
A question tied to a standard. Eedi says the connector can be used next to other connectors, such as the Learning Commons Knowledge Graph, to land on questions mapped to a given standard and its learning components.
A set in another locale. Eedi's tools support several locales: EN-GB by default, with EN-US and ES-US also available.
What it does not do, by Eedi's own account: both tools only read. No source describes Claude creating a question, saving a quiz in your Eedi account or seeing student results. Nothing fires on its own either, since Claude calls these tools only while it answers you. A recurring flow on a schedule is the job of an automation tool, a different trade covered from the Integrations hub.
Five words before you connect
The Claude vocabulary this page uses, in a minute.
- Connector
- A link you set up once between Claude and an account you already hold, so Claude can work with that account while it replies.
- Tool
- One named action a connector opens to Claude. Claude picks the ones it needs mid-answer, and the directory sheet lists them by name.
- Authorization
- The service's own sign-in screen, where you hand Claude the access it will use. Granted once per person, and it can be withdrawn.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before doing something that changes an account, shown inside the conversation when it matters.
- MCP
- The shared standard connectors rely on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Eedi.
Connect Eedi to Claude in three steps
- 01
Find Eedi in your connectors
Open Claude's settings, go to Customize, then Connectors, and look for Eedi in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner switches it on first, then each member signs in on their own.
- 02
Start the link from its row
Click Connect next to Eedi, then sign in to your Eedi account in the window Eedi opens. That window belongs to Eedi. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again.
- 03
Check what you allow
Read Eedi's authorization screen before you accept. That screen, not Claude, decides what the access covers. You can take the access back later from the Eedi account itself.
The 2 tools, both on the reading side
Eedi gives Claude 2 tools: 2 that read your account, 0 that change something in it.
Eedi describes two tools and says both are read-only. Their names stay as Claude displays them.
- 2 read
What Claude reads (2)
2 toolsTwo tools that look into Eedi's question bank and change nothing.
search_questions
You describe a topic in plain words and Claude looks through Eedi's Diagnostic Questions for matches, so you start from a shortlist rather than browsing the catalogue by hand.
get_questions
Once a question is identified, Claude pulls it in full by its ID and displays it as a card: stem, diagram from the original drawing, correct answer with its explanation, and the misconception behind each distractor.
What Claude checks with you first
By default, Claude pauses and asks before each action it carries out on an account for someone. The prompt shows up in the conversation at that moment.
Eedi's own documentation says both tools are read-only and suggests setting them to Always allow in Claude Desktop, so Claude stops asking each time it searches or fetches. That is the publisher's advice, not a Claude default. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let actions run without a prompt, and they can restrict what a connector does for the whole organization. Claude also works with the rights of the signed-in person and nothing more.
Which plans include it
Not one of the 819 sheets in the official directory states plan availability. For this connector as for the others, the answer is published nowhere.
The published rule is general: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, while desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens a connector for the organization before members can connect. For Eedi's live status, check its sheet in the official directory, the only place that keeps it current.
Where this connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls the Eedi tools while it answers, so no question set refreshes itself or lands in your inbox on a schedule.
Everything known about this connector comes from Eedi's documentation and the directory sheet; neither the Claude help center nor Anthropic's developer docs cover it. A tool list that only reads is an observed floor, not a guarantee, since an administrator can open actions that no public sheet shows. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it neither picks a publisher's tools nor guarantees how they behave.
