Claude HubSpot connectorWhat Claude can do in your HubSpot account.
The Claude HubSpot connector exposes 27 tools. 16 of them read your CRM and marketing data, 6 change something in your account, and 5 are documented nowhere. Below: what Claude reads, what it writes, what it confirms first, and what a Super Admin decides.

What changes once Claude can reach your CRM
Your CRM stops being a place you dig through before every call. Ask Claude for the active deals sorted by close date, the last month of conversations with a customer, or which campaign drove the most revenue, and it answers from your HubSpot records. When something needs updating, it proposes the change and waits for your yes.
Prepare a call in one question. search_crm_objects finds the contact, company or deal, get_crm_objects pulls the details, and Search conversations goes through the conversations and messages of your HubSpot inboxes.
Run a pipeline review without exporting anything. query_crm_data filters, aggregates and sorts CRM data, and search_owners ties deals to the right reps.
Update the record while it is fresh. manage_crm_objects creates or updates records and activities, after showing you a summary of the proposed changes. On the marketing side, manage_blog_post, manage_landing_page and Manage marketing email work on content.
What the connector does not do: run on its own. Claude only calls these tools while it answers you, never when a deal changes stage, and none of the documented tools is described as deleting anything. If a record should be created every time a form is filled, that is automation work, covered on our HubSpot n8n integration and HubSpot Make integration pages. A different job, not a better one.
Five words to know before you connect
The vocabulary around this connector, in one minute.
- Connector
- The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already own, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
- Tool
- One named action a connector gives Claude. Claude picks the tools it needs by itself, and the directory lists them by name.
- Authorization
- HubSpot's own screen where you choose the permissions the connector gets, then click to connect the app. Per person, and revocable.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for in the conversation before a change goes through, such as moving a deal to a new stage.
- MCP
- The open standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as HubSpot.
Connect HubSpot to Claude in three steps
- 01
Find HubSpot in your connectors
Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look up HubSpot. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable it for the organization before members can each sign in.
- 02
Start the connection
Click Connect on the HubSpot row, then log in to the HubSpot account you want to use, in the window HubSpot opens itself. If the link breaks, Disconnect and connect again.
- 03
Check HubSpot's authorization screen
Read what the HubSpot screen grants before you accept: that screen, not Claude, sets the scope. If it announces wider permissions than Claude uses day to day, it is still the service's screen, and Claude asks before each action by default. You can remove the access later from either side.
The 27 tools, split by what they do
HubSpot gives Claude 27 tools: 16 that read your account, 6 that change something in it, and 5 no official source describes.
Three groups: what Claude reads, what it changes, and what no official source describes. Tool names stay exactly as Claude shows them, spaces included.

What Claude reads (16)
16 toolsSixteen tools that look up CRM records, properties, analytics and conversations without changing them.
search_crm_objects
Searches and filters CRM records with filter groups, text queries, sorting and pagination, with at most 200 results per page.
get_user_details
Returns who you are in HubSpot, your account details and, object by object, what your access covers.
get_properties
Fetches full definitions of properties, including their data types and enumeration values, the allowed options of a field.
search_properties
Finds property definitions for an object type by keyword search, when you do not know the exact name of the field.
get_crm_objects
Pulls one or more CRM records by their identifiers in a single request, up to 100 at a time.
render_landing_page_ui
Displays a preview card of a landing page in the conversation, with a link to continue in the HubSpot page builder.
get_organization_details
Lists the teams, job titles and seat counts of the organization, along with account information such as timezone, currency and account type.
query_crm_data
Queries CRM data in a SQL-like language with filtering, aggregation and sorting, the tool behind most analysis questions.
search_owners
Looks up record owners by name, email or identifier, up to 100 results, so Claude can match deals and tickets to real people.
Tool Guidance
Retrieves usage instructions and guidance for one or more HubSpot tools. It is guidance for Claude on how to use the other tools, not data from your account.
Get campaign attribution reports
Returns revenue and deal attribution for campaigns, limited to closed-won deals.
read_campaign_data
Reads campaign analytics, asset metrics or contact data in one operation, the broader view next to attribution.
Search conversations
Searches conversations and messages from your HubSpot inboxes, so Claude can answer from the exchanges customers actually had with your team.
discover_hubspot_schema
Explores the object types available in your account and tells Claude which ones your permissions let it read or not.
Get conversation channel metadata
Lists the inboxes, channels and channel instances in the account, so a later conversation search can be narrowed precisely.
Get marketing email analytics
Returns analytics for marketing emails over a date range you choose.

manage_landing_page

Undocumented (5)
5 toolsThe directory lists these five names, but HubSpot's documentation does not describe them under these names, so we do not guess.
show_feedback_form
This name is on the directory sheet, but HubSpot's documentation has no entry under it. We will not infer what it does from the name.
get_content_analytics
This exact name is on the directory sheet, but no official source describes a tool under it, so this page does not say what it measures or returns.
read_landing_page_ui
Listed in the directory, absent from the documentation we read. No source says what it returns or displays, so nothing more is said here.
import-claude-design-from-url
The directory lists this name, and no official source describes what it does. This page makes no guess from the name.
Manage Onboarding
HubSpot describes an onboarding tool that assesses status and guides users through steps, but no source says whether it only reads or also records progress. We leave it as undocumented until a clearer source exists.
What Claude asks before it changes your CRM
Here the publisher documents confirmations for four tools; the rest fall under Claude's general rule.
By default, Claude asks for your confirmation before any action it takes on an account for you. HubSpot adds its own layer: record, campaign, blog and landing page changes present what will happen and wait for your yes. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide what members may let through and can restrict the connector for the whole organization. On the HubSpot side, a Super Admin chooses the connector's data permissions, and Claude never goes beyond your own HubSpot rights.
Which plans include the HubSpot connector
None of the 819 directory sheets states availability by plan, so there is no official connector-by-connector answer from Anthropic.
Anthropic's general rule: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector for the organization before members sign in. The publisher's own help article states a narrower requirement; it is quoted, dated and weighed in the limits section below. For your account, only the HubSpot sheet in the directory shows the current state.
What the connector will not do
This connector is documented by its publisher only: no Claude help article or Anthropic developer page covers it, so the limits below come from HubSpot.
A connector does not watch your CRM: its tools only run while Claude answers you, never when a deal changes stage. The directory's verification badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not choose a publisher's tools. Here the publisher is HubSpot, which documents its connector in detail, down to the number of records per request. Every call also counts against HubSpot's own API usage limits.
On which plans can Claude use the HubSpot connector?
- Claude help center, general rule for connectors ↗September 2026Remote connectors are available to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile; on Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector first.
- HubSpot knowledge base article ↗September 2026A paid Anthropic subscription is required: Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.
What this page followsAnthropic's rule covers every connector; HubSpot's sentence is the only one aimed at this one, but it is the publisher speaking, not Anthropic. Neither settles it for your account: check the HubSpot sheet in the directory on your account.
