Overview

What changes once Claude can reach your Salesflare CRM

Salesflare is a CRM for small and mid-sized B2B teams, and the connector lets Claude read and write in it with the rights of the user who connected. You ask a question about your accounts or deals, and Claude answers from the real records; you ask for a task or an update, and it makes the change in the CRM. The publisher suggests starting with read-only questions.

Know where to spend your day. With list_opportunities and list_accounts, Claude finds your biggest open deals and the accounts that have gone without follow-up.

Log things while they are fresh. create_contact, create_account and create_opportunity turn what you tell Claude after a meeting into CRM records.

Keep the pipeline honest. update_opportunity corrects a deal, and create_task or update_task set or adjust a follow-up.

What the connector does not do: no documented tool deletes a record, and four listed tools have no description at all. Nothing happens on its own either: Claude acts when you ask, not when an email arrives. If you want new leads flowing into Salesflare from a form, that is a job for an automation tool, a different trade, covered on our Salesflare Make integration page. Salesflare itself recommends starting with read-only questions before letting Claude change anything.

Vocabulary

Five words before you connect

The vocabulary Claude uses around this connector, in one minute.

Connector
A link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named thing the connector lets Claude do. Claude chooses the tools it needs by itself, and the directory lists them by name.
Authorization
The Salesflare sign-in screen where you hand Claude the access it will use. Given once per person, and it can be taken back.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it does something that changes your account, shown in the chat at the right moment.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Salesflare.
Connect

Connect Salesflare to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Salesflare in Claude

Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look for Salesflare in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector first; each member then signs in on their own.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on the Salesflare row, then sign in to Salesflare in the window the service opens itself, not inside Claude. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again.

  3. 03

    Read the authorization screen

Check what the screen lists before you accept. It belongs to Salesflare, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can also withdraw that access later from your Salesflare account.

Tools

The 16 tools, split by what they do

Salesflare gives Claude 16 tools: 4 that read your account, 8 that change something in it, and 4 no official source describes.

Three groups: what Claude reads, what it changes, and what no official source describes. Tool names stay as Claude shows them.

list_contacts

Pulls up the people stored in Salesflare, which lets Claude answer who you know at a company and how to reach them.

When it helps

Watch out
the answer is only as complete as the contact records in your CRM.

Sourceclaude.com · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_opportunities

Reads your deals in Salesflare so Claude can sort them, spot the biggest open ones or flag those that have stalled.

When it helps
on Monday you ask for your ten open deals that need attention most, sorted by value.
Watch out
a deal you are not allowed to open in Salesflare stays out of the ranking.

list_tasks

When it helps
at the end of the day, you check which follow-ups are still open before logging off.
Watch out
tasks outside the connected user's permissions will not appear in the list.

Not documented

4 tools

Four names the directory publishes without any description. No official text says what they do.

get_account_feed

This name appears in the directory's tool list and nowhere else. Neither Salesflare's documentation nor any Claude page describes it, so this page says nothing more about it. Treat any answer that leans on it with care until a source documents it.

Watch out
whatever it turns out to be, the general approval rule below still covers it.

list_pipelines

Listed by name on the directory sheet, with no official sentence behind it. We do not guess its role from its name, even when the name looks obvious, because that is how wrong pages get written.

Watch out
the approval rule described further down is the only thing that applies to it with certainty.

list_tags

No official text, from Salesflare or from Anthropic, explains this entry. The directory publishes the name and stops there, with no example, no field and no side effect described.

Watch out
treat it like any other tool: the general approval rule is what covers it.

list_users

Only the name is public. The documentation we read does not mention it, and reading a purpose into a name would be guessing, which this page refuses to do for any tool.

Watch out
the default approval rule below is all that can be said about it.
Approvals

What Claude checks with you first

By default, Claude stops and asks before each action it takes on an account for someone. Salesflare adds its own advice: read first, then review every proposed change.

On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without being asked each time. They can also limit what a connector may do for the whole organization, for example leaving reads open and closing writes. Nobody overrides that from a personal account. Claude also works with the rights of the person who connected, nothing more: the sheet says the connector reads and writes according to the connected Salesflare user's permissions.

Plans

Which plans include it

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows plan availability. The answer per connector is published nowhere.

The published rule is general: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens a connector for the organization before members can each connect. For the live state of this one, check the Salesflare sheet in the official directory.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you, so nothing starts when a deal changes stage or an email lands.

Everything here comes from the directory sheet and Salesflare's help article: no Claude help page covers this connector. The badge in the directory is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on each sheet that it neither picks a publisher's tools nor guarantees their behavior. Connect it because you already trust Salesflare with your pipeline, and remember that it writes with the connected user's permissions. Other CRMs and apps are in our Integrations hub.

FAQ

Questions about the Claude Salesflare connector

01What can Claude do with the Salesflare connector?
Claude can look up and update your Salesflare CRM from a conversation. The directory sheet describes finding accounts, contacts, opportunities, tasks, notes, meetings and interactions, summarizing relationship history, spotting deals that need follow-up, and creating or updating records. Four documented tools read accounts, contacts, deals and tasks, eight create or update those same objects, and four more are listed by name only, with no description anywhere. Everything runs within the connected user's permissions.
02Can Claude create or change records in Salesflare?
Yes. Eight tools create or update accounts, contacts, opportunities and tasks, for example logging a new buyer after a meeting or adjusting a follow-up task. The sheet says the connector reads and writes according to the connected user's permissions, so Claude cannot edit what that user cannot edit. No documented tool deletes a record. Salesflare itself suggests starting with lookups and reviewing any proposed change, or any confirmation Claude asks for, before it goes through.
03Does Claude ask before it changes my CRM?
Claude's default rule is to ask before any action it takes on an account for someone. No source describes a confirmation specific to a Salesflare tool, so that default covers all eight tools that write. Salesflare adds practical advice: review what Claude proposes, or asks you to confirm, before it proceeds. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners can also let some actions through without a prompt, or block writes for everyone.
04Which plans is it available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The general rule is that remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner or Primary Owner enabling them first on Team and Enterprise. Salesflare notes that the exact actions can depend on your setup. The directory sheet shows the live state for your account.
05Does Claude see the whole Salesflare workspace?
Claude sees what the connected Salesflare user can see, and nothing more. The directory sheet ties reading and writing to that user's permissions, so a rep with a narrow view gives Claude a narrow view too. To cut access, you disconnect the connector in Claude's settings. In a company-managed workspace, Salesflare notes that an owner or administrator may first need to enable it, and the same people can restrict or remove it.
06Why does Claude answer without checking Salesflare?
Usually because it was not told to. Salesflare's troubleshooting advice is to mention Salesflare explicitly in your prompt. Also check that Salesflare is switched on in Claude's connector or tools menu for that conversation. If it still does not show up, the connector may not be enabled for your workspace: in a company-managed one, Salesflare notes that an owner or administrator may first need to switch it on for everyone.
07Claude or an automation tool for Salesflare?
They do different jobs, so it depends on the use. Claude suits work you steer: ask which deals need attention, summarize an account before a call, log a contact you just met, close today's tasks. It never starts by itself. If you want every web form submission turned into a Salesflare contact with nobody asking, that is a scheduled flow, which an automation platform runs and a conversation does not.
