Claude Seamless connectorWhat Claude can do in your Seamless account.

The Claude Seamless connector exposes 54 tools. 21 read your prospects and pipeline, 33 change something, several of them by sending email. Below: what Claude finds, what it sends or deletes, what costs credits, and what your licence has to include.

Verified Trustpilot reviews · AI, automation & growth agency

Overview

What changes when Claude runs your prospecting

Prospecting in Seamless.AI means a search screen, an enrichment step, a list, then a campaign in another tab. With the connector, you tell Claude who you are after, say VPs of Sales at SaaS companies in Texas, and it runs the search itself, enriches the contacts you keep, files them in a list and drafts the first email for you to review.

From search to verified contact. search_contacts and search_companies find people and companies without spending credits. research_contacts then enriches the ones you pick with verified email and phone, which does consume credits, and poll_contact_research collects the results.

A campaign built in the chat. create_campaign sets it up, create_campaign_step adds email, call or task steps, add_contacts_to_campaign loads the audience, and execute_campaign_action starts or pauses it.

A morning digest of replies. get_activity_feed pulls opens, replies, bounces and calls; Claude sums up who needs a follow-up today.

Now the part the directory sheet leaves out. Some of these tools send email to real people, one of them to up to 500 contacts at once, and several delete for good. Seamless.AI labels each tool read, write or destructive and asks you to turn on confirmation in your client; no source says how Claude itself handles that, so the general approval rule is what you have. Campaigns, email, calls, tasks and templates also need Seamless's Connect licence. And nothing runs on its own: no tool fires when a prospect replies. For that, an automation tool is the right trade, and our Integrations hub covers it. Other apps get the same breakdown, for instance the Claude activecampaign connector.

Vocabulary

Five words before you plug it in

The vocabulary you will meet on the way.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named job the connector opens to Claude. Claude picks the ones it needs mid-answer; the directory sheet lists them by name.
Authorization
Seamless.AI's own sign-in screen, where you hand Claude the access it will use afterwards. Given once per person, and you can take it back.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before doing something that changes an account, shown in the conversation when it matters.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Seamless.AI.
Connect

Connect Seamless.AI to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Seamless in Claude

In Claude's settings, open Customize, then Connectors, and look for Seamless. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable the connector first; then each member connects on their own.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row. Seamless.AI opens its own window, where you log in and authorize access with your usual account. If the link breaks later, hit Disconnect and connect again.

  3. 03

    Read the authorization screen

Before you accept, read what the screen asks for. It belongs to Seamless.AI, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. That access can also be withdrawn later from the Seamless side.

Tools

The 54 tools of the Claude Seamless connector

Seamless gives Claude 54 tools: 21 that read your account, 33 that change something in it.

Two groups: what Claude reads and what it changes. Seamless.AI documents every tool and labels the dangerous ones. Names stay as Claude shows them, in English.

What Claude reads (21)

21 tools

Twenty-one tools that search, list and report without touching your data.

get_activity_feed

Pulls the engagement feed across your outreach: who opened, who replied, which emails bounced and which calls were logged, in one stream Claude can sum up.

When it helps
first thing in the morning, you want to know who replied overnight.
Watch out
it needs Connect access on Seamless's side.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_campaign_metrics

Reports engagement metrics for each step of a campaign, so Claude can compare the first email with the follow-ups and the calls.

When it helps
you want to see which step of the sequence loses people before you rework it.
Watch out
metrics are per step, not per contact.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_credits

Shows your current credit balance and how it has been used so far, which is the number to watch before any enrichment.

When it helps
before a big enrichment run, you want to be sure the balance can take it.
Watch out
research consumes credits, searching does not.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_email_draft

Retrieves a saved email draft so Claude can show it to you in the conversation, subject line and body included.

When it helps
you want to reread yesterday's draft before it goes out.
Watch out
it only reads; rewording goes through another tool.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_lists

Lists all your contact lists, or returns one by its ID, which gives Claude the map of how your saved contacts are grouped.

When it helps
you want to know which lists exist before filing new contacts.
Watch out
list IDs from here are what other tools need.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_my_companies

Returns the companies you saved or researched within a date range of at most 30 days.

When it helps
you want the accounts your team enriched this week for the pipeline review.
Watch out
the window cannot exceed 30 days.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

get_my_contacts

Returns the contacts you saved or researched within a date range of at most 30 days.

When it helps
you want everyone enriched since Monday to plan the week's outreach.
Watch out
30 days is the maximum range per request.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_call_dispositions

Lists the outcome labels available for logging a call, such as Left Voicemail, exactly as your Seamless account defines them.

When it helps
Claude is about to record a call and needs the exact label your team uses.
Watch out
Connect access is needed.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_call_sentiments

Gives the sentiment labels you can attach to a call, such as Positive, so the log reflects the tone as well as the outcome.

When it helps
you want the call log to reflect how the conversation felt, with the right label.
Watch out
the labels come from Seamless, not from Claude.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_campaign_contacts

Lists the contacts in a campaign with their engagement status, so you know who opened, who replied and who has not moved yet.

When it helps
you want to see who is still in the sequence and who already engaged.
Watch out
one campaign per request.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_campaign_steps

Lists a campaign's steps with their type, status and delay between them, which is the skeleton of the whole sequence.

When it helps
before reworking a sequence, you want its current shape laid out in front of you.
Watch out
this tool only reads the steps; other tools handle them.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_campaigns

Lists your campaigns or returns one by ID, filtered by status, up to 50 per page.

When it helps
you want every active campaign before the weekly sales meeting.
Watch out
archived campaigns stay out unless you ask for them.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_email_accounts

Lists the email addresses connected as senders on your Seamless account, the mailboxes your campaigns and one-off messages can go out from.

When it helps
you want to check which mailbox a campaign will go out from.
Watch out
Connect access is required.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_email_footers

Returns the footers your team set up for campaigns and templates, each with the ID a template needs to use it.

When it helps
you are building a template and want the legal footer your team uses.
Watch out
footer IDs from here go into templates.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_saved_searches

Lists all saved searches, or returns one by ID with its filters, so Claude can reuse a query someone already tuned.

When it helps
you want to rerun the query a colleague set up last month.
Watch out
it lists the filters, it does not run them.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_tasks

Lists tasks or returns one by ID, and can narrow them to one campaign, which is how Claude builds your call list for the day.

When it helps
you want today's call tasks for one specific campaign.
Watch out
tasks need the full Connect licence.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

list_templates

Lists your email templates or returns one by ID with its subject and body, so Claude can suggest the one that fits.

When it helps
you want to pick the right template before Claude drafts a message.
Watch out
it shows templates, it does not apply them.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

poll_company_research

Fetches the results of a company enrichment started earlier, using its request IDs.

When it helps
Claude launched research on ten accounts and now needs the answers.
Watch out
it only returns results; the enrichment itself happens in the research tool.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

poll_contact_research

Collects what a contact enrichment found, including each person's job history with the most recent departure first.

When it helps
you want to know whether a prospect recently changed company.
Watch out
it needs the request IDs from the research step.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

search_companies

Searches the Seamless database for companies by name, domain, location, industry, size, revenue, funding and more.

When it helps
you want mid-size logistics companies in the Midwest for a new territory.
Watch out
searching through this tool does not consume credits.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

search_contacts

Looks through the Seamless database for people by company, title, seniority, location, industry and more, returned as a paginated table.

When it helps
you are after heads of procurement at hospitals in two states.
Watch out
finding people is free; getting their verified email and phone goes through the research step.

What Claude changes (33)

33 tools

Thirty-three tools that enrich, create, edit, send or delete. Seamless flags the deletions as destructive; no source describes how Claude confirms them, so the general rule below applies.

add_contacts_to_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Loads saved contacts into an existing campaign, which is what makes them part of its sequence.

What Claude asks for
Seamless's documentation is silent on a prompt from Claude before contacts join; the general approval rule decides.
When it helps
you just enriched twenty leads and want them in the outbound sequence you built yesterday.
Watch out
the campaign rejects contacts if it is archived or deleted, and campaigns need the full Connect licence.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

clone_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Copies an existing campaign with its steps but without its contacts, a clean starting point for a new audience.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a confirmation for a copy; the approvals section applies.
When it helps
a sequence worked well for one region and you want the same steps for another.
Watch out
contacts are not copied, so load the new audience separately.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Sets up a new outreach campaign, and can include its steps and contact IDs in the same call.

What Claude asks for
a check before the campaign is created is described nowhere, so fall back on the general rule.
When it helps
you want a three-touch sequence for a trade show follow-up ready before lunch.
Watch out
campaigns require the full Connect licence on Seamless's side.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_campaign_step

Approval: see the rule

Adds an email, call or task step to a campaign.

What Claude asks for
whether Claude pauses before adding a step is not documented; the default rule covers it.
When it helps
your sequence needs a call two days after the first email.
Watch out
each step type behaves differently in the sequence, so say which one you want.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_email_draft

Approval: see the rule

Saves an email draft in Seamless without sending it.

What Claude asks for
no source mentions a prompt tied to drafting; the rule further down applies.
When it helps
you want Claude to prepare a personalized first message you can reread before anything goes out.
Watch out
a draft stays a draft until another tool sends it.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_list

Approval: see the rule

Opens a new contact list for organizing saved contacts.

What Claude asks for
Seamless publishes no confirmation specific to list creation, so the general rule is in charge.
When it helps
you are starting an account-based push and want a list per target company.
Watch out
lists group saved contacts; research is what saves them.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_task

Approval: see the rule

Creates an email, call or custom task for a contact or a campaign.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a check before a task lands on your list; the default rule applies.
When it helps
after a promising reply, you want a call reminder for Thursday.
Watch out
tasks need the full Connect licence, like campaigns.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

create_template

Approval: see the rule

Creates an email template with a subject and a body; the footer list tool supplies the footer IDs it can use.

What Claude asks for
a confirmation before a template is created is described nowhere; the general rule covers it.
When it helps
you keep rewriting the same intro email and want a reusable version.
Watch out
a template is not sent by itself; campaigns and emails use it later.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Deletes a campaign along with all its steps and tasks. Seamless classes it as destructive.

What Claude asks for
Seamless tells clients to require explicit approval before this deletion; how Claude behaves is not documented, so the general rule applies.
When it helps
an abandoned test campaign clutters your reports.
Watch out
Seamless says destructive operations cannot be undone.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_campaign_step

Approval: see the rule

Removes one step from a campaign, labelled destructive by Seamless.

What Claude asks for
no source describes Claude's own prompt here; rely on the default rule and read the request before accepting.
When it helps
a call step no longer makes sense once the prospect asked for email only.
Watch out
the step is gone for good.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_list

Approval: see the rule

Permanently deletes a contact list, but not the contacts in it.

What Claude asks for
Seamless recommends that clients require explicit approval before this deletion; that is the vendor's advice, not a documented Claude behaviour, so the approvals section applies.
When it helps
last quarter's event list is outdated and only adds noise.
Watch out
the contacts survive; the grouping does not.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_task

Approval: see the rule

Erases a task permanently from your list.

What Claude asks for
a prompt tied to task deletion is described nowhere; the default rule covers it.
When it helps
a duplicate reminder was created twice for the same call.
Watch out
to stop a task without losing it, the task action tool can cancel it instead.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

delete_template

Approval: see the rule

Permanently deletes an email template.

What Claude asks for
no source says Claude pauses before this deletion in particular; the general rule is your only safeguard.
When it helps
a template carries an old offer that nobody should reuse.
Watch out
Seamless files it under destructive operations, which it says cannot be undone.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

execute_campaign_action

Approval: see the rule

Starts, pauses, resumes, completes or archives a campaign, among other lifecycle moves.

What Claude asks for
Seamless documents no Claude-side prompt for these moves; the rule further down decides.
When it helps
the sequence is ready and you want it live, or a reply came in and the campaign should pause.
Watch out
starting a campaign sets its emails in motion, so check the audience first.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

execute_campaign_step_action

Approval: see the rule

Pauses, resumes or skips a single step inside a campaign.

What Claude asks for
no confirmation specific to step actions is published; the general rule applies.
When it helps
the call step lands on a holiday and you want to skip it for this round.
Watch out
it acts on one step, the rest of the campaign keeps going.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

execute_task_action

Approval: see the rule

Pauses, reschedules, completes or cancels a task, among other actions.

What Claude asks for
whether a prompt appears before a task changes state is not documented; see the approvals section.
When it helps
the prospect moved the meeting and the follow-up call should move with it.
Watch out
pick the exact action you want, since cancelling and completing are separate moves.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

log_call

Approval: see the rule

Records the outcome of a call with a contact.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a prompt before a call is logged; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
you just hung up and want the result on the contact without opening Seamless.
Watch out
Seamless is clear that this is not a click-to-call feature: it records, it does not dial.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

remove_contacts_from_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Takes contacts out of a campaign.

What Claude asks for
a confirmation before contacts leave the campaign is described nowhere; see the general rule.
When it helps
a prospect asked not to be contacted again this quarter.
Watch out
campaign tools need the full Connect licence.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

research_companies

Approval: see the rule

Enriches companies with revenue, size, technologies and similar data. It consumes credits.

What Claude asks for
the documentation describes no Claude-side prompt before credits are spent; the approvals section applies.
When it helps
you want firmographics on a shortlist of accounts before a planning session.
Watch out
re-enriching a company already researched spends credits again.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

research_contacts

Approval: see the rule

Enriches contacts with verified email and phone, and can file them straight into lists. Each enrichment draws on your credits.

What Claude asks for
no source says Claude confirms before spending credits here; the general rule covers it.
When it helps
you found twelve promising names and want reachable details for all of them.
Watch out
asking to re-enrich a known contact costs credits a second time.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

send_bulk_email

Approval: see the rule

Sends one email to all saved contacts matching filters, skipping those who opted out. It refuses more than 500 matches.

What Claude asks for
Seamless recommends turning on human confirmation for write tools like this one; that is advice to the client, and Claude's own behaviour is not documented, so the general rule applies.
When it helps
you announce a webinar to everyone in a saved list.
Watch out
it goes to real inboxes, so check the filters before you confirm.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

send_email

Approval: see the rule

Sends an email in one step, without a draft.

What Claude asks for
Seamless advises clients to turn on human confirmation for write tools; no source describes how Claude itself handles this send, so see the approvals section.
When it helps
a prospect asked for the deck and you want it sent right away.
Watch out
once sent, it is out of your hands.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

send_email_draft

Approval: see the rule

Sends a draft saved earlier.

What Claude asks for
a prompt specific to sending a draft is described nowhere; the default rule decides.
When it helps
you reread the draft, fixed a line, and it is ready to go.
Watch out
double-check the recipient before you confirm.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

send_email_preview

Approval: see the rule

Sends a preview to yourself before a launch.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a confirmation for previews; the general rule applies.
When it helps

Watch out
it goes to you, not to the audience.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_campaign

Approval: see the rule

Edits a campaign's name, visibility or linked email accounts.

What Claude asks for
Seamless documents no prompt from Claude before these edits; the rule further down applies.
When it helps
a campaign should now go out from a colleague's mailbox.
Watch out
switching the sender changes who prospects see.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_campaign_step

Approval: see the rule

Edits a step's content or its position in the campaign.

What Claude asks for
whether a check appears before a step is rewritten is not documented; see the general rule.
When it helps
the second email reads too pushy and you want it softened.
Watch out
moving a step changes the order of the sequence, so say where it should go.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_email_draft

Approval: see the rule

Edits the content of a saved draft.

What Claude asks for
no confirmation specific to draft edits is published; the approvals section covers it.

Watch out
the earlier version is replaced.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_list

Approval: see the rule

Renames an existing contact list.

What Claude asks for
a prompt before a list is renamed is described nowhere; the default rule applies.

Watch out
only the name changes; the contacts stay.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

update_task

Approval: see the rule

Edits a task's name, due date, priority or status.

What Claude asks for
Seamless publishes nothing on a prompt before task edits; the general rule decides.
When it helps
a follow-up became urgent and should jump to top priority.
Watch out
tasks require the full Connect licence.

Sourcedocs.seamless.ai · September 30, 2026 ↗

Approval: see the rule

Edits a template's name, subject or body.

What Claude asks for
a confirmation before a template is rewritten is not documented; the approvals section applies.

Watch out
reread the new subject and body before you accept the change.

Approvals

What Claude asks before acting

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it takes on an account for you. The request shows up in the conversation, at the moment it matters.

On Team and Enterprise, owners decide whether a member may let certain actions through without being asked each time. They can also cap what a connector may do across the organization, keeping reading open and closing writing, and nobody bypasses that from their own account. Claude works with your rights: Seamless.AI runs every request as the signed-in user, with license and access checks. On top of that, Seamless labels each tool read, write or destructive and recommends human confirmation for the last two.

Plans

Which plans include it

Of the 819 sheets in the official directory, none shows availability by plan. The per-connector answer is published nowhere, a real gap in the catalogue.

The general rule is public: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner turns the connector on for the organization before members can connect. For the current state, open the Seamless sheet in the directory from your own account.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you; nothing starts when a prospect replies or a campaign step comes due.

This connector is documented only by its publisher: neither Claude's help center nor Anthropic's developer docs cover it. The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise, since an administrator can open actions no public sheet shows. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not decide which tools a publisher exposes. Seamless's own overview counts 57 tools; the directory sheet lists 54.

FAQ

FAQ on the Claude Seamless connector

01What can Claude do with the Seamless connector?
Claude can run most of your Seamless.AI prospecting from a conversation. It searches contacts and companies, enriches the ones you choose with verified details, files them in lists and saved searches, builds campaigns with email, call and task steps, starts or pauses them, drafts and sends emails, logs calls, manages tasks and templates, and reads the activity feed and campaign metrics. All fifty-four tools on the directory sheet are described by Seamless.AI.
02Can Claude send emails or delete things in Seamless?
Yes. Thirty-three of the fifty-four tools change your account. Some send email to real recipients, one to up to five hundred saved contacts at once, others delete campaigns, steps, lists, saved searches, tasks or templates. Seamless labels those deletions destructive and says they cannot be undone. Enrichment also changes your account, because it saves contacts and consumes credits. Read every request before you accept it, and check the audience size before any bulk send goes out.
03Does Claude ask before sending or deleting?
By default, yes: Claude asks for confirmation before each action it takes on an account for you. Seamless.AI adds its own layer, labelling tools read, write or destructive and recommending human confirmation for the last two. No source describes how Claude reads those labels, so the default rule is what covers you. On Team and Enterprise, owners can close writing for the whole organization, and that setting applies to everyone.
04Which plans is it available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The general rule opens remote connectors to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable the connector before members can connect. The Seamless sheet in the directory, opened from your own account, is the only place that shows the current state.
05Does Claude see our whole Seamless account?
No. Seamless.AI runs every request as the signed-in user, with license and access checks, so Claude sees what you see. Your organization's licence also decides which tool families appear: without Connect, campaign, email, call, task and template tools are simply missing. On Team and Enterprise, an owner can further restrict what the connector may do for everyone. You can withdraw access from your Seamless account at any time, which stops Claude from using it.
06Why does Claude say MCP access is not enabled?
Because Seamless.AI requires access to its server to be switched on for your account before any tool works. The error comes from Seamless, not from Claude, and Seamless tells you to contact your administrator or its support. That is separate from the Connect licence, which only governs the outreach tools. Once access is on, connect again from Claude's connector settings and the tools your licence allows will appear in the conversation.
07Claude or an automation tool for Seamless?
They do different jobs, so choose by the task. Claude works inside a conversation: you ask, it searches, enriches, drafts or sends, and nothing happens once you stop typing. It does not react on its own when a prospect replies or changes jobs. For a job that fires in the background on an event, an automation tool is the right trade. For on-demand prospecting and outreach you steer, the connector fits.
