What changes when Claude can query Sumble
Sumble's directory description is about researching target accounts and managing prospect lists. With the connector, you ask Claude in plain words, and Claude calls Sumble behind the scenes. Every call draws on your Sumble credits, so it pays to know which tools cost what, and where Sumble stops a request that would cost too much.
Checking your budget first. GetAccountInformation returns your credit balance, API key status and plan details for free, so Claude can tell you what is left before a big request.
Working from saved lists. Claude reads your organisation lists through ListOrganizationLists and opens one with GetOrganizationList, which Sumble bills per organisation returned.
Building a new target list. CreateOrganizationList starts an empty list and AddOrganizationsToList fills it by ID or slug, both free according to Sumble; contact lists work the same way.
What it will not do, or not visibly: eleven tools on the directory sheet carry names that Sumble's MCP documentation does not describe, so this page says nothing about them. Any request that would cost more than 500 credits is refused unless the assistant explicitly goes ahead. And nothing runs on its own: Claude acts only while it answers you. The Claude connectors hub lists other sales connectors, and the Integrations page covers automation platforms.
Five words before you connect
The Claude vocabulary behind this connector, in one minute.
- Connector
- The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already hold, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
- Tool
- One named thing the connector lets Claude do on that account. Claude picks the ones it needs, and the directory sheet lists them by name.
- Authorization
- Sumble's own sign-in step, where you give Claude the access it will use afterwards. Granted once per person, and it can be withdrawn.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before it goes ahead with something that changes an account, shown in the chat when it matters.
- MCP
- The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant such as Claude talk to an outside service like Sumble.
Connecting Sumble to Claude in three steps
- 01
Find Sumble in Claude
Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and search for Sumble. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector first so that members can then authenticate one by one.
- 02
Start the connection
Click Connect on its row and complete Sumble's sign-in in the window it opens. If the connection breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again: that usually restores it.
- 03
Read the authorization screen
Look at Sumble's authorization screen before you accept. It belongs to Sumble, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can also remove that access later from the Sumble side.
The 23 Sumble tools, sorted by what they do
Sumble gives Claude 23 tools: 8 that read your account, 4 that change something in it, and 11 no official source describes.
Sumble's MCP documentation describes twelve of these tools under the same names; the other eleven appear on the directory sheet only. Names stay as Claude shows them.

- 4 write

Not documented (11)
11 toolsListed by name on the directory sheet, described by no official source we could find. This page does not guess what they do.
LogOut
This tool sits on the directory sheet, but Sumble's MCP documentation never names it and no other official text describes it. Nothing is claimed here about its effect. If Claude calls it, the general approval rule of the block below is what applies, as for any call.
FindOrganizations
Sumble's MCP documentation has no entry under this name; the directory sheet shows the name alone. Without a source, its behaviour stays unstated on this page. Sumble says MCP calls generally consume credits, and Claude's default approval rule covers the call.
EnrichOrganization
No sentence from Sumble or Anthropic is attached to this name. The publisher's current tool list uses other names, and this page does not map one onto the other by guesswork. What applies to it is what applies to any call: the general approval rule and Sumble's credit billing.
MatchOrganizations
Listed by the directory, undocumented by the publisher: Sumble's MCP page has no entry under this name. Nothing is said here about what it reads or produces. Should Claude reach for it, the request is still bound by the 500-credit ceiling Sumble applies to every MCP call, and by the general approval rule.
FindJobs
The directory gives this name and nothing else, and Sumble's MCP page has no entry for it. Its effect is therefore not described here. Sumble states that MCP calls consume credits from your account just like its REST API, and Claude's general approval rule covers any call to it.
GetJobDescription
No official source covers it: the publisher's tool reference skips this name entirely and the directory sheet adds no description. This page refuses to read a capability into the name. Any call falls under Claude's default approval rule and Sumble's billing in credits.
FindRelatedPeopleToJob
Absent from Sumble's documentation, present on the directory sheet as a bare label. With no text describing it, its output and side effects stay unknown and nothing is assumed. If Claude calls it, the approval rule set out below and the 500-credit refusal threshold both apply.
FindPeople
Sumble's MCP page has no line on this name, and the directory provides nothing beyond the label. This page therefore states no behaviour for it. Like every call, it is metered in Sumble credits and covered by the general approval rule.
EnrichPerson
Neither Sumble nor Anthropic publishes a sentence about this tool. The name alone is not evidence of what it reads or reveals, so nothing is claimed here. The general approval rule of the block below governs a call to it, alongside Sumble's credit billing.
FindRelatedPeopleToPerson
Only the directory mentions this tool, by name. The publisher's documentation contains no matching entry, and no other official source fills the gap. Its effect is left undescribed on purpose. Should Claude use it, the 500-credit ceiling and Claude's default approval rule remain in force.
Query
The directory sheet lists a tool called Query, and no sentence of Sumble's documentation is attached to that name. Without a source, this page treats it as undocumented and says nothing about its behaviour. The general approval rule covers any call.
What Claude asks before acting
By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it takes on an account in your place. With Sumble, credits add a second reason to keep an eye on each call.
On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without being asked again, and they can bound what a connector may do for the whole organisation, keeping reads and closing writes for instance. Nobody bypasses that from their own account. Sumble adds its own brake: a request that would cost more than 500 credits is refused, and the assistant should only override it after asking you, for that single call. Claude works with your Sumble rights, nothing beyond.
Which plans include it
None of the 819 sheets in the official directory displays availability by plan. Connector by connector, the answer is published nowhere by Anthropic: it is a real gap in the catalogue.
What Anthropic publishes is the general rule: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector for the organisation before each member signs in. For the current state of this one, check its sheet in the official directory. The publisher states its own view on plans, which the limits section sets against this rule.
Where the Claude Sumble connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: nothing fires on its own when data changes in Sumble.
The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise: an administrator can open actions that no public sheet shows. The partner badge in the directory is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not choose the tools a publisher exposes and cannot guarantee they behave as announced. Here that caution is concrete: the directory sheet and Sumble's own documentation do not list the same tool names.
Which Claude plans can use the Sumble connector?
- Claude help centre, general connector rule ↗September 2026Remote connectors are available to all users; on Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable each one first.
- Sumble's MCP documentation ↗October 2026The publisher says the connector works on Claude Pro and above, lists paid plans only for Claude, and notes Enterprise users may need an admin to enable connectors.
What this page followsNeither side is outdated. Anthropic's rule covers every connector, while Sumble's line targets this one, so it is the more specific claim, but it is the publisher speaking, not Anthropic. Check the connector's directory sheet from your own account before relying on either.
