What does the Hookr Make integration do?
The Hookr Make integration lets a Make scenario, the automation you build as a chain of modules, send push notifications through your Hookr account. Hookr has no trigger in Make, so something else starts the scenario: an event in another app, or a schedule you set. Hookr is the step that tells you about it.
An alert when a form comes in. A new entry lands in your form tool, and Send push notification pings you right after. You react to the lead instead of finding it later in a mailbox.
A heads-up at the end of a longer scenario. Put Hookr as the last module of a scenario that already does real work, such as copying data between two apps, so you hear when a run has gone through.
Everything else in the Hookr API. Make an API call reaches any endpoint of the Hookr API with the same connection, which covers what the listed module does not.
What this integration does not do: it cannot start a scenario by itself, since it has no trigger. The Hookr documentation used by Make also warns that its content is AI-generated and may contain mistakes, so check important details with Hookr. How do you connect Hookr to Make?

Create an API key in Hookr
You need an active Hookr account. In the Hookr app, open the Settings tab, click Create API Key, then copy the key shown on screen. Keep it at hand, Make will ask for it in a moment.

Add a Hookr module in Make
In your scenario, add a Hookr module and click Create a connection. A connection is your Hookr account linked to Make once, then reused by every Hookr module. The Connection name field is optional.

Paste the key and save
Paste the API key you copied from Hookr, or follow the instructions Make shows on screen, and confirm. The connection now appears in the module, and the second Hookr module can pick it from the list.
Build your first scenario with Hookr

Create the scenario
From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. It will not be Hookr: pick the app where the event happens.

Set the starting module
Search that app, choose the module that watches for new records, and link its account with Create a connection. Each record it finds becomes a bundle, one item passed to the next module.

Add Send push notification
Click the + on the right of that module, search Hookr, pick Send push notification and select your Hookr connection. Map data from the first module into the notification.

Test with Run once
Click Run once to execute the scenario one time. Open each module to read the bundles it received, and check that the notification arrived with the right content.

Schedule and switch it on
Set the schedule on the first module, every 15 minutes by default, then switch the scenario on. Each module run on a bundle counts as one operation on your plan.
