The Inoreader Make integration links your Inoreader account to Make, a no-code tool where you build scenarios: automations made of modules, each module being one brick such as a trigger, an action or a search. Make can watch new articles and subscriptions, add feeds, tag articles, save web pages and list what your account holds.

A feed that sorts itself. A content marketer follows dozens of sources. With Watch Articles as the trigger and Assign a Tag right after, every article of the type you picked gets its tag the moment Make picks it up, so the reading list is already sorted when you open Inoreader.

Sources added from somewhere else. An analyst collects feed URLs in a form or a spreadsheet. The scenario reads each new URL and hands it to Add a Subscription. On the way back, Watch Subscriptions tells another tool whenever a feed joins the account, so the team knows what is being followed.

Pages kept by URL. Save a Web Page stores a page from its address, handy when a link shows up in a chat message or a ticket. On the Inoreader Pro Plan, Watch Webhook Triggers goes further: your own Inoreader rules start the scenario.

How do you connect your Inoreader account to Make?

    Add an Inoreader module

    In a new scenario, click the +, search for Inoreader and pick any module, Watch Articles for example. In the module panel, click Create a connection. A connection is your Inoreader account linked to Make once, then reused by every Inoreader module.

    Name it and authorize Make

    Give the connection a name if you like, such as your work account, so you can tell it apart later. Then follow the window Make opens: authorize Make on the Inoreader page, or paste the key Inoreader gives you if that is what the window asks for.

    Save and reuse it

    Click Save. The module now shows your connection, and Make can list what it reads from your account. The next Inoreader module you add offers the same connection in its dropdown, so you never sign in twice.

Your first scenario: tag new Inoreader articles automatically

    Create the scenario

    Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + in the middle of the canvas. This first module is the one that starts everything.

01Is the Inoreader Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Inoreader is a standard app, so it works from the Make Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid Make plans lower the interval to 1 minute and lift the cap on active scenarios. On the Inoreader side, Watch Webhook Triggers and the Get Started group of the documentation need the Inoreader Pro Plan.
02What do you need to connect Inoreader to Make?
An Inoreader account and a Make account. The documentation lists no other prerequisite. Add any Inoreader module, click Create a connection, name it if you want, authorize Make in the window that opens and click Save. The connection is then reused by every Inoreader module in all your scenarios. If you plan to use Watch Webhook Triggers, make sure your Inoreader account is on the Pro Plan first, since that trigger is limited to it.
03Does the Inoreader trigger in Make react in real time?
It depends on the trigger. Watch Articles and Watch Subscriptions are scheduled: Make checks Inoreader on the scenario's schedule, every 15 minutes by default, never under 15 minutes on the Free plan and down to 1 minute on paid plans. Watch Webhook Triggers is instant: Inoreader calls Make through a webhook as soon as a Trigger Webhook rule is processed. That instant trigger needs the Inoreader Pro Plan, so on a lower plan the scheduled triggers are the way in.
04What if the Inoreader module you need is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It sends a request to any endpoint of the Inoreader API with the connection you already set up, so you do not need a second sign-in. It covers what the 13 listed modules leave out. The trade-off is that you build the request yourself from the Inoreader API reference. Also check your Inoreader plan: some modules are marked as Pro Plan only, and a lower plan can look like a missing feature.
