What can the Orday Make integration do for you?

The Orday Make integration lets a scenario (the automation you build in Make, a chain of bricks called modules) send WhatsApp messages and files through your Orday account. Orday only acts in this setup: something else starts the scenario, and Orday delivers the result on WhatsApp.

A group that hears about every new order. A shop app or a spreadsheet starts the scenario, and Send a WhatsApp Message to Group posts a short summary in the team chat. Nobody has to copy and paste anything anymore.

A document that lands in the right chat. When a quote or a brochure is ready in your storage tool, Send a WhatsApp File delivers it to one person, while Send a WhatsApp File to Group shares it with a whole group of sales reps.

A personal follow-up after a sign-up. A form fills in, and Send a WhatsApp Message writes to that contact. For anything the four ready-made modules do not cover, Make an API Call reaches the rest of the Orday API with the same connection.

Be aware of one limit before you plan too much: Make says its documentation for Orday is incomplete, because there is not enough public information about the app. Expect to discover some settings inside the module itself. How do you connect Orday to Make?

    Open the connection window

    Add any Orday module to your scenario, then click Create a connection. A connection is your Orday account linked to Make once; every Orday module of every scenario reuses it afterwards.

    Give it a clear name

    Naming the connection is optional, but it helps. If you handle several Orday accounts, say one per brand or per client, a name like "Orday shop" saves you from sending a message from the wrong number later.

    Authorize and save

    Depending on what Orday asks, either approve Make on the Orday page that opens, or paste the key your Orday account gives you. Then click Save. The module can now use your account.

First scenario

Your first scenario with Orday

    Create the scenario

    On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. Orday has no trigger, so this first module belongs to another app: your form tool, your shop or a sheet.

    Pick what starts it

    Choose the module of that other app that watches for new entries and connect its account. Each new entry becomes a bundle, one item that flows from one module to the next.

    Add the message

    Click the + on the right, search for Orday and pick Send a WhatsApp Message. Create the connection, then map the data from the first module into the message so each person gets their own text.

    Attach the file

    Add Send a WhatsApp File right after it, with the same connection. Map the file coming from an earlier module, so the document follows the message in the same chat.

    Test with Run once

    Click Run once, create one test entry in the first app and send it to your own number. Open each module to read the bundle it received and check what went out on WhatsApp.

    Schedule and switch on

    Set the schedule on the first module (every 15 minutes by default) and switch the scenario on. From there, every new entry triggers its message and its file without you.

you know which Orday endpoint does the job and no listed module offers it.

Make documents little about Orday, so check with Orday which requests its API accepts before building one.

each bundle that reaches the module sends one file, so filter upstream to avoid duplicates.

Orday and Make: frequent questions

01Is the Orday Make integration free?
Yes, Orday is a standard app, so its modules are available from the Make Free plan. That plan has limits: 2 active scenarios, at least 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run and files up to 5 MB. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) bring the interval down to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. Your Orday subscription is a separate matter, handled on the Orday side.
02What do you need to connect Orday to Make?
An Orday account and a Make account. The Make documentation lists no specific prerequisite for Orday. You add an Orday module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like, then either authorize Make on the Orday page or paste the key Orday gives you, and click Save. Once saved, that connection serves every Orday module in all your scenarios, so you only do it once per account.
03Can an Orday scenario start on its own in real time?
Not from Orday itself, because the app has no trigger module in Make: all 5 of its modules are actions. The scenario therefore starts elsewhere. Either a module from another app watches for new entries, a form or a shop for instance, or Make runs the scenario on its schedule, every 15 minutes by default. If the other app offers an instant trigger, it calls Make through a webhook as soon as something happens, and Orday sends its message right after.
04What if an Orday module you need is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It reaches any endpoint of the Orday API with the connection you already have, so you can cover what the four WhatsApp modules do not. Keep in mind that Make describes its Orday documentation as limited, for lack of public information on the app, so ask Orday, or its own documentation if it publishes one, which request to send. If a step still blocks you, another app on the Make side may cover that part of the flow.
05Should you use Make or n8n for Orday?
It depends on the tool your team already runs. In Make, Orday comes with 5 ready-made modules, including four for WhatsApp messages and files plus Make an API Call for the rest, and you connect your account once. Orday may also exist as a node in n8n; check that before choosing. The honest criterion is the one you already master: building the same scenario in a tool you know beats learning a second one for a single app.
