The integration links your Ringfree account to Make, a no-code tool where you build a scenario: an automation made of modules, each one a brick such as a trigger, an action or a search. Ringfree brings 9 of those bricks, focused on calls, SMS and conversations, so the activity of your phone line can feed the rest of your tools.

A call log that fills itself. Watch Calls picks up new calls, and Get Call Details adds what Ringfree stores about each one. Hand that bundle, the item passed from one module to the next, to a sheet or a CRM module from another app and the log stays current without typing.

Transcripts where people read them. After a call, Get a Call Transcription and Get a Call Recording retrieve what was said. A support lead can route the text to a shared channel instead of listening to every recording.

Text threads kept together. Watch SMS reacts to new messages, while Get conversation thread and Get Messages Files collect the whole exchange and its attachments, handy when a customer sends a photo by text.

How do you connect Ringfree to Make?

    Get your API key first

    Make signs in to Ringfree with an API key, and that key is provided by the Ringfree team. You also need a paid Ringfree account with admin access. Ask for the key before opening Make, otherwise the connection screen leaves you stuck.

    Open the connection window

    In your scenario, add any Ringfree module and click Create a connection. A connection is your Ringfree account linked to Make once, then reused by every Ringfree module. You can type a label in Connection name if you manage several lines.

    Paste the key and save

    Paste the key into the API Key field and click Save. If Ringfree asks you to authenticate and confirm access, accept. The module then shows the new connection, and you can start filling it in.

    From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the big +. Search for Ringfree and pick Watch Calls as the first module.

    Link your account

    Click Create a connection, paste the API key from the Ringfree team and save. Fill in whatever settings the module shows once the connection exists.

    Add the transcription

    Click the + on the right of Watch Calls, pick Get a Call Transcription and map the call data coming from the trigger into it.

    Send the text somewhere useful

01Is the Ringfree Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Ringfree is a standard app, available from the Free plan, which allows 2 active scenarios, a check every 15 minutes at the shortest, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans drop the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. On the Ringfree side, you need a paid account with admin access, since the connection depends on it.
02What do you need to connect Ringfree to Make?
Three things: a paid Ringfree account, admin access on it, and an API key. The key is provided by the Ringfree team, so ask for it before you start. In Make, you add a Ringfree module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like, paste the key in the API Key field and save. 04What if a Ringfree module is missing in Make?
It depends on what you need. The 9 modules cover calls, recordings, transcripts, SMS and conversations, mostly for reading data. Ringfree has no Make an API Call module in Make, so you cannot fall back on a raw request inside this app. The options are to combine the existing modules differently, to use another app in the same scenario, or to ask the Hackceleration team for help on a workaround that fits your line.
