What does the ShareAI Make integration let you automate?

The ShareAI Make integration links your ShareAI account to Make, so a scenario (the automation you build in Make, a chain of modules) can send a prompt to ShareAI without you copying and pasting anything. It has two modules, both actions, which means another app or a schedule has to start the flow.

Prompts fed by another tool. A support ticket, a form answer or a new spreadsheet row lands in another app. That app's trigger opens the scenario, and Send a prompt passes the text to ShareAI. Whatever the module hands back can be mapped into the next module, for example a reply draft or a note in your CRM.

A prompt on a timer. With no trigger of its own, ShareAI can still run from Make's clock: the first module of a scenario follows a schedule, every 15 minutes by default. Put a module from another app first to fetch the items, then let Send a prompt process each one.

Everything the list does not cover. Make an API Call reaches any endpoint of the ShareAI API with the same connection. It is the way out when Send a prompt is not enough.

One honest limit: Make's own documentation says it cannot describe ShareAI fully, because too little public information exists about the app. Expect to test more than usual. How do you connect ShareAI to Make?

    Add a ShareAI module

    In your scenario, click the +, type ShareAI in the search and pick Send a prompt. When the module opens, click Create a connection. A connection is your ShareAI account linked to Make once, then reused by both modules.

    Name it and authorize Make

    Give the connection a name you will recognize later, which is optional but handy with several accounts. Then either approve Make on the ShareAI page that opens, or paste the key ShareAI gives you, depending on what the window asks for.

    Save and check the module

    Click Save. The connection now appears in the module, and you can fill in the rest of its fields. From there, Make lists what it can read in your ShareAI account.

    Create the scenario

    From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Since ShareAI has no trigger, the first module comes from the app where your text lives, such as a form tool or a spreadsheet.

    Add Send a prompt

    Click the + to the right of that first module, search for ShareAI and choose Send a prompt. Pick your connection or create it here with Create a connection.

    Map the text into the prompt

    Fill the module fields. Where the prompt goes, map data from the first module, for example the message of a form entry, so each bundle (one item passing between modules) gets its own prompt.

    Test with Run once

    Click Run once. Make runs the scenario a single time, and you can open each module to read the bundles it received and returned. Check the ShareAI output before adding anything after it.

    Schedule and switch it on

    On the first module, set the schedule, which is every 15 minutes by default, then switch the scenario on. Each module run on one bundle counts as an operation on your Make plan.

01Is the ShareAI Make integration free?
Yes, ShareAI is a standard app in Make, so it is available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, at least 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution at most, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. Make counts usage in operations, one per module run on one bundle. Whatever ShareAI itself charges is a separate matter this page does not cover.
02What do you need to connect ShareAI to Make?
A ShareAI account and a Make account. Make's documentation lists no prerequisite for ShareAI and no dedicated connection steps, so the standard flow applies: add a ShareAI module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, then either authorize Make on the ShareAI page or paste the key ShareAI provides, and click Save. The same connection then serves both modules, Send a prompt and Make an API Call. Keep your ShareAI account at hand, because the documentation does not say which of the two methods applies.
03Can a ShareAI scenario start on its own in real time?
Not from ShareAI. The app has no trigger module in Make, only two actions, so it cannot open a scenario by itself. You have two ways to start. Put a trigger from another app first, and the scenario runs when that app reports a new item. Or rely on Make's scheduling: the first module runs on a schedule, every 15 minutes by default on a new scenario, and never more often than every 15 minutes on the Free plan. Send a prompt then comes right after that first module.
04What if the ShareAI module you need is missing?
Use Make an API Call. Since this module exists for ShareAI, any endpoint of the ShareAI API can be called from the scenario with the connection you already have, which covers anything beyond Send a prompt. Keep in mind that Make says it cannot document ShareAI completely, because there is not enough public information about the app. Get the details of each call from ShareAI itself and test every call with Run once before switching the scenario on.
05Should you use Make or n8n with ShareAI?
It depends on what you already run. On Make, ShareAI comes with 2 modules: Send a prompt for the everyday case and Make an API Call for the rest, and the Free plan is enough to try it. n8n often offers a node for the same app, so check its catalog for ShareAI before choosing. Compare the two on the modules actually available for ShareAI and on the tool your team already knows. Neither choice changes what ShareAI does with the prompt.
