Copy your API key
Log in to ShortPen and open the dashboard. Go to the API or Developer section and copy the API key shown on screen. You need an active ShortPen account for this, so create one first if you have none.

Add a ShortPen module
In Make, open your scenario, add any ShortPen module and click Create a connection. A connection is your ShortPen account linked to Make once and reused by both modules.

Give the connection a name in Connection name if you like; the field is optional. Paste the API key, or follow the on-screen instructions, and save. Make can now act in your ShortPen account.
