Overview

What the AccurAI Zapier integration handles for your paperwork

Wiring AccurAI into Zapier means your documents reach the tool without anyone uploading them by hand, and its output reaches the apps you already use. AccurAI automates document processing with machine learning. Zapier feeds it files through Upload File and picks up each result through New Prediction.

Delivery notes processed straight from Drive. A logistics team saves scanned delivery notes into a Google Drive folder. Zapier spots each new file and hands it to AccurAI with Upload File, so nobody opens the tool to drop them in.

A running log of results. An insurance broker sends every New Prediction to Google Sheets and gets one row per result, ready for the review with the claims team.

A CSV export picked up from Dropbox. A retailer drops CSV exports in Dropbox and lets Zapier pass each one to AccurAI on its next check, at one task per file.

What Zapier can't do with AccurAI: find a document or a prediction that already exists, or change one. The app has no searches on Zapier, and its only action uploads a file in PDF, CSV, PNG or JPG. So files always come in the same way: a source app, then Upload File. To weigh other tools for the job, the Make vs Zapier comparison lays out the trade-offs.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Seven Zapier words, each shown with what happens to your documents on their way through AccurAI.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier. For example: a PDF lands in a folder, then goes into AccurAI through Upload File.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap. On the AccurAI side it is New Prediction: a fresh processing result has just come out.
Action
What the Zap does once started. AccurAI has a single one: Upload File, which drops a file into the tool for processing.
Task
What Zapier bills: one successful action. Each file Upload File sends into AccurAI counts as one task.
Polling vs instant
New Prediction works by polling: Zapier asks AccurAI for new results on a timer. With an instant trigger, the app would report by itself.
Filter
A step that stops the Zap when the incoming item misses your condition, for example on the file name. It makes the Zap a paid one.
Connection
Your AccurAI account linked to Zapier once, then shared by New Prediction and Upload File across all your Zaps.
Cost

What AccurAI on Zapier really costs

Picking up predictions is free. What you pay for is each file you send in and each result you push elsewhere.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month
  • Steps on free2: one trigger, one action
  • Premium appNo

Zapier bills in tasks, one per successful action. The New Prediction trigger uses none, and neither do Zapier's checks on AccurAI. Every successful Upload File does count, though: a hundred invoices in, a hundred tasks. An upload that fails, say with no file attached, is not counted.

The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps and a check every 15 minutes, but only two steps: one trigger, one action. Sorting files with a filter before the upload makes the Zap multi-step, so paid. AccurAI is not a premium app.

Connect

Connect your AccurAI account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Find AccurAI in Zapier

Open the Apps page of your Zapier account and click + Add connection. Type AccurAI in the dialog's search box and select it. One connection will serve both the trigger and the action.

  2. 02

    Sign in to AccurAI

Click Add connection. AccurAI opens in a new tab: sign in with the account where your documents get processed, the one whose predictions you want to pick up.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Allow Zapier into the account. Upload File will drop files there, so you need write access. If you don't own the account, ask for that access before your first test.

First Zap

Build your first Zap with the AccurAI Zapier integration

GoalEvery new AccurAI prediction pings the ops channel on Slack and opens a Trello card for whoever reviews it.

  1. 01

    Start from New Prediction

In the editor, pick AccurAI as the app that starts the Zap and New Prediction as the event. Select the connection you made above, or add it there.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier pulls in the three most recent predictions from the account; pick a real one, since it becomes the sample you map from.

  3. 03

    Add the Slack message

Add Slack's Send Channel Message, choose the ops channel and map the text from what the trigger returned. Test it and check the channel.

  4. 04

    Add Trello, then publish

Add Trello's Create Card, test it, then click Publish. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.

Triggers

The AccurAI trigger on Zapier

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in AccurAI. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

New Prediction

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new prediction is made”

This trigger starts your Zap each time AccurAI makes a new prediction. Think of it as the tool's exit door: the moment a processing result can travel on to another app.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one.
When to use it
when a broker wants every result logged in a spreadsheet without opening AccurAI to look for it.
Watch out
predictions made before the Zap went live are never picked up.
Actions

The AccurAI action on Zapier

AccurAI gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Upload File

Action

In Zapier“Uploads a file (PDF, CSV, PNG, JPG)”

Sends a file into AccurAI so it joins the processing queue, in PDF, CSV, PNG or JPG. Zapier features it on the app page.

When to use it
when scans pile up in a shared folder and nobody wants to upload them one at a time.
Watch out
File Name and File are both required, so the step before must provide a real file.
When it breaks

When it breaks, and why

Two directions, two kinds of failure: files that don't get in, results that don't get out.

Zapier links no help article to AccurAI and publishes no limit specific to it. Incidents come from Zapier's own mechanics, applied to a tool that takes files in and hands predictions out. The Zapier troubleshooting page walks through the usual suspects.

  • Old documents stay out

An Upload File Zap ignores files already sitting in the source folder, and New Prediction skips every result made before the Zap went live.
  • The folder that feeds itself

If New Prediction results get saved into the folder your Upload File Zap watches, each result sets off another upload and drains your task count.
  • A big batch held back

After a bulk import of scans into the source folder, the trigger may return a huge batch at once, and Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.
  • One prediction, one run

Zapier remembers which predictions New Prediction has already returned, so the same result never reaches your spreadsheet twice.

FAQ

AccurAI and Zapier: common questions

01Is the AccurAI Zapier integration free?
Yes. AccurAI is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so the free plan is enough to send files in or pull predictions out. It gives you 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps and a check every 15 minutes. Watch the volume: each file Upload File sends costs a task, while New Prediction costs nothing. A free Zap also stops at two steps, so filtering files before the upload, or sending a result to two places, needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does an AccurAI Zap use?
One task per successful action, and none for the trigger. A Zap that uploads each new Drive file to AccurAI costs one task per file. A Zap that starts on New Prediction and writes a Google Sheets row costs one task per prediction. Zapier checking for new items is free however often it runs, and an upload that fails isn't counted. On the free plan's 100 tasks a month, a one-action Zap covers 100 files.
03Is it real time?
Not on the trigger side. New Prediction is a polling trigger: Zapier checks AccurAI on a timer, every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 minutes on Professional, every minute on Team and Enterprise. AccurAI sets that type and it can't be changed in the editor. Upload File, on the other hand, runs as soon as the other app's trigger starts the Zap. On paid plans you can also run a check by hand from the editor while testing.
04What do you need to connect AccurAI to Zapier?
An AccurAI account, a Zapier account, and write access to the account where Upload File will drop files. The connection starts on Zapier's Apps page: + Add connection, search for AccurAI, Add connection, then sign in in the new tab and allow access. That one link serves both the New Prediction trigger and the Upload File action. Think about the step before the upload too: it has to provide a real file for File and a name for File Name.
05Why does Upload File fail when you test it?
Usually because one of its two required fields is empty. Upload File wants a name in File Name and an actual file in File; if the previous step only passes along text or a link, there is nothing to upload. Check the format too, since the action's official description lists PDF, CSV, PNG and JPG. A failed action doesn't cost a task, so you can fix the mapping and test again without touching your allowance.
06What if the operation you need isn't there?
On Zapier, AccurAI offers New Prediction and Upload File, and nothing else: no searches, no action to edit or delete. Looking up a processed document or reading an older prediction from a Zap isn't possible. What you can do is send files in from any app Zapier supports and push every new prediction out to another tool. For anything beyond that, check what AccurAI does on its own or look at a different automation tool.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for AccurAI?
For AccurAI, the deciding criterion is the file itself. On Zapier, Upload File needs an actual file from another app, and how easily each tool passes files along often settles it. Zapier is the quickest to pick up and bills per successful action, easy to track with a modest flow of documents. Make counts usage differently and handles branching well, say a different route per document type. n8n can run on your own server, which matters for documents that must stay in-house. Check each tool's AccurAI operations before you pick.
