What the Adanos Zapier integration is good for
Adanos measures what people say about stocks and crypto across social networks, financial news and prediction markets. Plugged into Zapier, it does two things: it notices when an asset starts trending or gets a new mention, and it hands sentiment figures to whatever tool your team already reads.
A morning digest of what traders talk about. New Daily Trending Asset picks up each stock that enters the daily snapshot, Get Asset Sentiment can add its score if the trigger hands over the ticker, and a chat message carries both to the desk.
A side-by-side view before a meeting. An analyst types a short list of tickers into a form, and Compare Assets returns their sentiment next to each other for the research note.
A market mood line in a report. Get Market Sentiment gives one aggregate reading for stocks or for crypto, handy as a single line in a weekly client letter built elsewhere.
What Zapier does not do here: Adanos only reads. No action writes, edits or deletes anything, so every useful Zap needs a second app to deliver the result, and that makes it a multi-step Zap. Two operations, marked Professional, also need a paid Adanos account on top of Zapier.
There is no Make or n8n page for Adanos yet. To compare platforms on criteria, see Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words keep coming back on this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier keeps watching for that event.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it starts. With Adanos, an action fetches figures; with other apps, it writes or sends something.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan allows a fixed number of them each month.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items and keeping only those it has not seen before. Both Adanos triggers work so.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself the moment something happens. Adanos has none, so its Zaps always wait for the next check.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets your condition, and quietly stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Adanos account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that calls Adanos.
What an Adanos Zap really costs
Adanos is not a premium app, so it opens on the free plan. Zapier counts tasks, and only completed actions count.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Steps on the free planOne trigger plus one action
- Trigger costZero tasks
- Premium appNo
The trigger costs nothing, and neither do the checks behind it. Every Adanos action that succeeds is one task, even though it only reads data. The free plan builds two steps only, a trigger and one action. Since an Adanos action alone has nowhere to send its figures, a realistic Zap adds a delivery step, which makes it multi-step and puts it on a paid plan. Both triggers are polling, so the plan also sets how fresh the data is.
Connect Adanos to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need an Adanos account before you start, because Zapier links an existing account and never opens one for you.
- 02
Pick Adanos in the list
Type Adanos in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Adanos side, where the sign-in takes place.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Adanos in that tab and let Zapier reach the account. The connection then sits in your Apps list, and every Adanos step you build later reuses it.
Your first Adanos Zap: trending stocks with their mood, in chat
GoalEach stock that enters the daily trending snapshot is posted to the trading desk's channel with its sentiment reading.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap, choose Adanos and New Daily Trending Asset. Set Asset Type to stocks, then fill Lookback Days and Result Limit within your Adanos plan.
- 02
Test on real data
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items, so the mapping in the next steps is done on a real asset rather than an empty sample.
- 03
Add the sentiment step
Add Adanos again with Get Asset Sentiment. If the trigger test returned the ticker, map it into Ticker or Symbol; if not, this step has no asset to score. Keep the same Asset Type and pick Lookback Days.
- 04
Deliver it to the channel
Add the chat app as a third step and build the message from what the two Adanos steps returned. Three steps means a multi-step Zap on a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once, read what came back, then click Publish. From then on the Zap checks for new trending stocks at your plan's interval.
Adanos triggers on Zapier
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Adanos. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Daily Trending Asset
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when an asset appears in the selected daily trending snapshot.”
Watches the daily list of the most talked-about assets and starts the Zap for each stock or coin that shows up in it. You choose between stocks and crypto, so one Zap follows one market.
New Asset Mention (Professional)
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new raw mention is found for a stock or crypto asset. Requires an Adanos Professional account.”
Follows one ticker or crypto symbol and fires on every new raw mention found for it, the individual posts and articles behind the sentiment score. It is the closest view of the conversation around a single name.
Adanos actions on Zapier
Adanos gives you 6 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Returns the sentiment reading for a single stock ticker such as AAPL or a coin such as BTC over the period you choose.
Get Market Sentiment

Fetches the assets with the most buzz at the moment the step runs, up to 100 of them.
Search Assets
ActionIn Zapier“Searches supported stocks or crypto assets.”

When an Adanos Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Adanos, so the failures to plan for are the general ones.
Four situations explain most surprises. None is specific to Adanos, but its polling triggers and read-only actions shape how they show up. If a Zap goes quiet, the Zapier troubleshooting guide runs through the checks in order.
No history on day one
A Zap only reacts to what appears after you switch it on. Trending lists and mentions from before that moment are never replayed. The same asset does not fire twice
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen. An asset that stays in the trending list will not start the Zap again.A big batch can be held back
When a check suddenly returns a large number of new items, Zapier's flood protection may hold them instead of running them all at once.Fresh news, delayed Zap
Both triggers are polling. On the free plan, an asset can wait up to 15 minutes before Zapier spots it; paid plans shorten that wait.
