What the AdPage Zapier integration actually does
AdPage builds landing pages, and Zapier links it to the rest of your tools. In this pairing AdPage only ever speaks first: it can tell Zapier that a lead came in through a classic form, or that a profile changed. It cannot be told to do anything back, because Zapier lists no action for it.
Three things people usually get out of it. A sales ping per lead: New Lead starts a Zap when Zapier's next check finds a new submission in a project, and a chat message goes to whoever follows up. A clean contact log: Profile Update picks up profile changes across the account so a spreadsheet or CRM stays in step. A per-project alert that does not wait: Profile Update (Project) is the only instant trigger of the three, so a recruiter or a real estate agent watching one campaign hears about it straight away, even on the free plan, while the two others wait for the next check.
What Zapier does not do here: it cannot create a page, edit a form or write anything into AdPage. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot look up an existing AdPage lead. Every step after the trigger belongs to another app.

Zapier words in one minute
Seven terms come back on every Zapier page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- An automation you build on Zapier: one trigger first, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier keeps waiting for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan counts these, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer, at a fixed interval. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event occurs.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming item meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your AdPage account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap step that talks to AdPage.
What it really costs
AdPage is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan.
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Free plan Zap size1 trigger + 1 action
- Premium appNo
- Instant triggers1 of 3
The trigger itself never costs a task, and neither does Zapier checking for new items, however often it looks. You pay one task for each action that succeeds; a failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and builds Zaps of two steps only: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
Concretely, a Zap that posts one message per AdPage lead uses one task per lead, nothing more.
Connect AdPage to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need an AdPage account first, and access to any project you do not own yourself.
- 02
Pick AdPage
Type AdPage in the search box of the dialog, select it in the results, then click Add connection. Right after, a new browser tab opens on the AdPage side.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to AdPage in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection then shows up in your list, and every Zap you build later can reuse it.
Your first Zap: a Slack ping for every new lead
GoalEach new lead from a classic AdPage form lands as a message in the sales channel.
- 01
Build the trigger
Create a Zap, pick AdPage as the app that starts it and
New Leadas the event. Choose the AdPage connection you added earlier. - 02
Test with a real lead
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account, so submit one through your classic form first if the project is empty.
- 03
Add the message step
Add Slack as the next step, choose the channel, and map the lead details from AdPage into the message text so the sales team reads them at a glance.
- 04
Test, then publish
Test the Slack step and check the message that arrives. Then click Publish to switch the Zap on. From now, each new lead costs one task.
AdPage triggers on Zapier
3 events start a Zap when something happens in AdPage, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Lead
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is submitted in the project. Only use this for the classical forms.”
Starts your Zap whenever a visitor submits a classic form on one of your AdPage projects, so the details reach a chat, a CRM or an inbox without anyone copying them by hand. It covers the classic forms only, which matters if a project mixes several form types.
Profile Update
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a update happend to a profile”
Fires when a profile changes in your AdPage account, which lets another tool hold the latest version instead of a stale copy. It looks at the whole account, not at one project, so expect it to catch changes from every campaign you run there.
Profile Update (Project)
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Profile update based on project”
Reacts to profile changes inside one chosen project, which narrows the noise when only one campaign matters to you. It is the fastest of the three AdPage triggers and the one to pick when a delay would cost you a hot contact.
When it breaks
Zapier links no help article to AdPage, so the known failure points are the general ones of any Zap.
None of these show up as an error message at first. They show up as missing leads, duplicated rows or a task counter that drops faster than expected. When something looks off, the Zapier troubleshooting guide walks through the usual checks.
Old leads never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it goes live. Anything AdPage collected before you clicked Publish stays where it is.A Zap that triggers itself
If a later step writes into the same AdPage profiles the trigger watches, each write starts the Zap again and the task count drains quickly.A bulk import gets held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can pause it before anything runs.No double runs on polling
On New Lead and Profile Update, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.
