AgentLookUp Zapier integrationAutomate AgentLookUp with Zapier.
The AgentLookUp Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. One event, a new lead landing in your agent directory profile, and it reaches Zapier the instant it happens. Everything after that runs in your other tools.

What the AgentLookUp Zapier integration actually does
AgentLookUp is a directory where buyers and sellers go looking for a real estate agent. Hooked up to Zapier, it does one job: the moment a prospect reaches out through the directory, that lead leaves AgentLookUp and lands in whatever tool you already work in, without you copying it by hand.
Since the app only has a trigger, every useful outcome happens somewhere else. Three setups cover most needs.
A personal alert email. New Lead starts the Zap, and a Gmail step forwards the details to the address you watch on your phone. Useful for a solo agent who spends the day on viewings and cannot sit in front of a dashboard.
A shared lead log for a small brokerage. The same trigger feeds a row into a spreadsheet the whole office can read, so the broker sees who came in without asking around.
A follow-up task in a CRM. The lead becomes a contact or a to-do in the CRM the team uses, so no one forgets to call back a seller who reached out on a Friday night.
Now the limits, because they are blunt. Zapier cannot write anything into AgentLookUp: no action creates, updates or deletes a profile or a lead. It cannot look anything up there either, since the app offers no search. And the Zap only sees leads that arrive after it is switched on. If you need deeper changes inside the directory, Zapier is not the tool, and comparing options on the Make vs Zapier page is a sensible next read.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words carry this whole page. Each one is defined once, here, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Here, a new lead in AgentLookUp. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself, the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
- Connection
- Your AgentLookUp account, linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap and every step that needs it.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What it really costs
AgentLookUp is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan onward.
- TriggerNever billed
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
The trigger never costs a task, however many leads arrive. You pay for what follows: each action that succeeds counts as one task, and an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. Add a filter or a second action and you need a paid plan. The polling grid (Free 15 minutes, Professional 2, Team 1, Enterprise 1) does not apply here, because New Lead is instant.
Connect your AgentLookUp account
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. Before you click, have the login of the AgentLookUp account that receives your leads at hand.
- 02
Find AgentLookUp
Type AgentLookUp in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the list, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the AgentLookUp side, ready for you to sign in.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in with the account that owns your agent profile and grant Zapier access. You need an AgentLookUp account, plus access to anything you do not own yourself that the Zap should read.
Your first Zap: only email the leads that matter
GoalEvery new AgentLookUp lead is checked by a filter, and the ones that pass go straight to your inbox.
- 01
Build
Create a Zap, pick AgentLookUp as the app and
New Leadas the event, then choose the AgentLookUp connection you set up above. - 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account, so you map the next steps on a real one, not a blank.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon and add Filter. Pick a field, a rule and a value. Use a text rule on text: the wrong rule type is why a filter never passes.
- 04
Add the email
Add the Gmail step, map the lead details into the subject and body, and test it once. Read what came back before you go further.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan; on the free plan, drop the filter and keep two steps.
AgentLookUp triggers
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in AgentLookUp, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is captured.”
Starts your Zap each time a prospect gets in touch through AgentLookUp, so the request leaves the directory and reaches the tool where you actually follow up. It is the only door between the app and Zapier, which makes it the base of every setup on this page.
When it breaks
Zapier links no help article to AgentLookUp, so the risks below are the general ones that hit every app.
None of these will show as an AgentLookUp error. They show as a lead that never arrived, or a task count that jumped. If you are stuck, the Zapier troubleshooting guide walks through the usual checks.
Old leads never appear
A Zap only reacts to leads that come in after you switch it on. Anything already sitting in your AgentLookUp account stays there. The Zap keeps firing itself
If a later step writes into the very place the trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again and eats your task count fast.A burst of leads is held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import for instance, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back. The filter never lets anything through
Filter rules are typed. A number rule on a text value, or the reverse, fails every time, so check the rule type before blaming the trigger.
