Agora Zapier integrationAutomate Agora with Zapier.

The Agora Zapier integration offers 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. It does one job: drop a new contact into Agora as a lead. Something else has to start the Zap, so the real choice is which form, sheet or ad tool feeds your real estate pipeline.

Overview

What the Agora Zapier integration does, and what it leaves out

Agora is a CRM built for real estate firms and the investors they raise money from. Through Zapier it accepts one thing from the outside world: a new contact, filed as a lead. Any app that Zapier can listen to can therefore push prospects into Agora without someone retyping them.

Three results teams usually wire first. An inquiry form that files itself: a prospective investor fills in the form on your fund's site, and Create Contact as Lead puts them in Agora before the investor relations team opens their inbox. Ad leads that skip the spreadsheet: people who answer a lead ad land in the CRM directly, instead of in a CSV export. Event sign-ups turned into prospects: everyone who registers for a property tour or an investor webinar becomes a lead to follow up.

Now the limits. Agora has no trigger on Zapier, so nothing that happens inside Agora can start a Zap: no alert when a lead changes stage, no sync out to another tool. There is no search step either, so a Zap cannot check whether a contact already exists. And there is no update action: a contact goes in once, and changes happen inside Agora.

Weighing platforms? The Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier comparisons go criterion by criterion, and the Zapier review covers the platform as a whole.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, explained once

Eight terms. After this, the page uses them without stopping to explain.

Zap
Your automation on Zapier: one event that starts it, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
Trigger
The event, in some app, that starts the Zap. With Agora, that app is always another tool, never Agora itself.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, it files a lead.
Task
What Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. The allowance on your plan is a count of those, nothing else.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by its app the moment the event takes place.
Filter
A check placed before the action: if the incoming prospect fails your condition, the Zap stops and no lead is created.
Connection
Your Agora account linked to Zapier one time, then reused by every Agora step you add to any Zap.
Multi-step Zap
A Zap that goes beyond the trigger and action pair, with a filter for instance. That format requires a paid plan.
Cost

What a lead costs you in tasks

Agora is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan.

  • Premium appNo
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Cost per lead1 task when the action succeeds

The trigger in the other app never costs a task, and Zapier checking for new data is free too. Each Create Contact as Lead that goes through counts one task. One that fails, for instance because the email is already in Agora, is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but every Zap stays at two steps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter and the Zap turns multi-step, which needs a paid plan. How fast a lead arrives depends on the trigger app: a polling trigger waits for the interval of your plan.

Connect

Connect your Agora account

  1. 01

    Find Agora in Zapier

Open the Apps page of your Zapier account and click + Add connection. Search for Agora in the dialog and select it. You need an existing Agora account first.

  2. 02

Sign in on the Agora tab

Click Add connection. A tab opens on the Agora side: log in with an account that is allowed to add contacts, since that is the only thing the Zap will do there.

  3. 03

    Approve the access

Grant Zapier access to the account. The connection now sits in your Apps list, and every Agora step you build afterwards reuses it without asking you to log in again.

First Zap

Your first Zap: ad leads straight into Agora

GoalWhen someone answers your lead ad and gives an email address, create them in Agora as a lead for the investor relations team.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and pick the ad tool as the app that starts it, with its new-lead event. Connect that account on the way.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account. Pick a real one, since every later field is mapped from it.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon, choose Filter, and set it so the Zap only goes on when the email field exists. That avoids failed runs in Agora.

  4. 04

    Add the Agora action

Add Agora, choose Create Contact as Lead, map the lead's email into Email, and fill in the other fields you want. Test the step and read what came back.

  5. 05

    Publish

Click Publish to switch it on. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan; each new lead costs one task.

Actions

The action

Agora gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Contact as Lead

Action

In Zapier“Create Contact as Lead”

Adds a new person to Agora and files them as a lead, built from whatever the step before it collected. It is the only way in from Zapier, so every Agora Zap ends here.

When to use it
a prospective investor books a call or fills in a form, and should be in the CRM before anyone follows up.
Watch out
Email is required, and an address that already exists in Agora makes the action fail.
When it breaks

When it breaks

Zapier ties no help article to Agora, so the cases below come from its one required field and from the general limits of Zapier.

Since Agora only receives data, most failures start upstream, in the app that triggers the Zap, or at the duplicate check on email. To trace the cause, go through the Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • A returning prospect is rejected

Agora refuses an email it already holds, so the action fails for anyone filed before. The run costs no task, but that person is not updated either.
  • No email, no lead

When the trigger app sends a record without an email, the action has nothing to fill its only required field and stops. A filter in front catches it.
  • Last month's contacts never arrive

A Zap only handles what happens after it is published. Prospects collected before that stay where they are; importing them is a separate job.
  • A bulk import gets held back

If the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.

FAQ

Agora and Zapier: common questions

01Is the Agora Zapier integration free?
Yes, and the only condition is how long the Zap is. Agora is not a premium app, so the free plan can use it, with 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is the shape of the Zap: on the free plan, one trigger and one action, nothing more. A form entry that creates a lead fits. Add a filter to skip records without an email, or a second action, and the Zap becomes multi-step, which requires a paid plan.
02How many tasks does each new Agora lead cost?
One task per lead that Agora accepts. The trigger in the other app is free, and so is Zapier checking for new records. Only a successful Create Contact as Lead is counted. If the action fails, for example because the email is already in Agora, no task is spent. With 100 tasks a month on the free plan, that means up to 100 new leads a month, provided the Zap does nothing else. Each extra action in the same Zap counts on its own.
03Does Agora work in real time with Zapier?
Agora has no trigger, so the speed depends on the app that starts the Zap. If that app offers an instant trigger, it tells Zapier the moment the event happens and the lead reaches Agora right away, whatever the plan. If it uses a polling trigger, Zapier checks on a timer: 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. The app page on Zapier shows which kind each trigger is, and instant Zaps carry a lightning bolt in the editor.
04What does it take to connect Agora to Zapier?
An Agora account allowed to add contacts. In Zapier, open the Apps page, click + Add connection, search for Agora, sign in on the tab that opens and grant access. The connection is then reused by every Agora step. If the account belongs to a colleague or a shared login, check with them first, because every lead created by the Zap will be added through that account. Nothing else is asked at this stage: the Email field and the rest are filled in later, inside each Zap.
05Why does Create Contact as Lead fail on some records?
Usually because of the email. It is the only required field, and Agora refuses an address it already holds. So a prospect who fills in a second form, or who was entered by hand last week, produces a failed run. The same happens when the trigger app sends a record with no email at all. A failed run costs no task, but nothing is updated in Agora either: changes to an existing contact are made inside Agora.
06What if the Agora operation you need is not available?
Then Zapier cannot do it with Agora today. The catalog holds a single action and no trigger or search: no way to update a contact, change a lead's stage, or react to something that happens in Agora. Sometimes the job can be reshaped, for example by keeping the follow-up logic in the tool that collects the lead. Otherwise, use the contact form above: describe what you need, and a person will read it.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Agora?
It comes down to criteria, not a ranking. What this page establishes is the Zapier side: a single Agora action, Create Contact as Lead, usable from the free plan, and no trigger. Nothing here is checked for Make or n8n, neither whether an Agora connector exists nor what it could do. Start by looking at whether either platform can update a contact or react to an event in Agora: those are the two gaps that matter on Zapier.
