Overview

What the All-Images.ai Zapier integration actually does

It connects your All-Images.ai account, an AI image generator with its own image bank, to Zapier. A change in a generation's status can start an automation at once, and Zapier can launch new generations, retry failed ones, look images up and buy them for you.

Three outcomes come up most. A finished visual handed on automatically: Trigger Generation Image fires when a generation's status changes, a filter keeps only finished ones, and Get Image Generation fetches the result for the next step. Briefs turned into images: Generate Images (Guided) takes a plain description and returns a proposal of 4 images, while Generate Images (Advanced) takes a Midjourney-style prompt as you would type it on Discord. A licensed image with a public link: Find Image searches the bank, then Buy Image or Download Image pays for it with your credits.

What Zapier does not do here: there is only one trigger, and it watches status changes, not new images in the bank. No action deletes a generation or edits an image. And every purchase draws on your All-Images.ai credits.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words come back throughout this page. Here they are in plain terms.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something on your behalf.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer. It asks the app for new items at a set interval and keeps only what it has not seen.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports by itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens. The All-Images.ai trigger works this way.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already in an app, so the steps after it can use what it found.
Cost

What an All-Images.ai Zap really costs

Two meters run side by side. Zapier counts tasks, one per action that succeeds, and the trigger never costs one. All-Images.ai counts its own credits whenever you buy or download an image.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
  • Zap size on freeTwo steps: one trigger, one action
  • TriggerInstant, never billed
  • Image purchasePaid in app credits, debited once
  • All-Images.ai on ZapierNot a premium app

On the Zapier side, the free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. The Zap below has a filter, so it is a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan, and each action that succeeds is a task. A failed action is not counted. All-Images.ai is not a premium app. On the app side, Buy Image and Download Image need enough credits, and an image is debited only once. Keep both meters in mind when you plan a Zap.

Connect

Connect All-Images.ai to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your All-Images.ai account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every All-Images.ai step.

  2. 02

Pick All-Images.ai and start the link

Type All-Images.ai in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. You need an All-Images.ai account of your own, plus access to anything you do not own but want the Zap to use.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to All-Images.ai in the tab that opens and allow Zapier to use the account. Every All-Images.ai trigger, action and search you add afterwards reuses this one connection.

First Zap

Your first All-Images.ai Zap: hand on every finished generation

GoalEach time one of your generations finishes, the Zap fetches it so your marketing team can use the images without checking the app.

  1. 01

    Build: choose the trigger

Start a new Zap, pick All-Images.ai and the Trigger Generation Image event, then your connection. The lightning bolt shows an instant trigger.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the account, so you map fields from a real generation and see what its status looks like.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon, add Filter, pick the status field, a text rule and the finished value from your test. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add Get Image Generation

Add All-Images.ai with Get Image Generation and map the Image Generation ID from the trigger. Its output is ready for whatever step you add next.

  5. 05

    Test, then Publish

Test each step, then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Generations that finished before that moment are not picked up.

Triggers

All-Images.ai trigger in Zapier

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in All-Images.ai, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Trigger Generation Image

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when status generation image updated.”

Starts the Zap whenever the status of one of your image generations changes. It reacts to an update rather than to a brand-new item, so expect the same generation to come through again if its status changes more than once.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a content team wants finished visuals sent on, or failed ones flagged, the moment the status changes.
Watch out
put a filter on the status, and never let this Zap create something new on each run, or you will get duplicates.
Actions

All-Images.ai actions in Zapier

All-Images.ai gives you 7 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Buy Image

Action

In Zapier“Buy and get direct public link Image. You need to have enough credits. Credits are debited only once.”

Buys an image and returns a direct public link to it. The purchase is paid in All-Images.ai credits, and each image is debited only once.

When to use it
an approved visual needs a stable link for a blog post or an ad.
Watch out
without enough credits, the step fails.
2

Generate Images (Advanced)

Action

In Zapier“Our images are generated using Midjourney AI. In this mode, you just enter your "Imagine" prompt as if you were on Discord.”

Starts from a raw prompt written the Midjourney way, exactly as you would type it on Discord. Full control, but you write the whole prompt yourself.

When to use it
a designer keeps a library of tested prompts and wants to run them from a spreadsheet.
Watch out
Generation Name and Prompt are required.
3

Action

In Zapier“Buy and Download Image. You need to have enough credits. Credits are debited only once.”

Buys the image and downloads it in the same step, where Buy Image only returns a public link.

When to use it
filing approved visuals into your shared drive.
Watch out
it also draws on your credits, debited once per image, and needs the Image ID.
4

Get Image Generation

Action

In Zapier“Retrieves an image generation from its ID.”

Fetches a generation from its ID, so the next steps can work with it. Despite the name, it is listed as an action, so it runs and counts as a task.

When to use it
right after the trigger, to get the full generation before sending it anywhere.
Watch out
Image Generation ID is required.
5

Generate Images (Guided)

Action

In Zapier“Image generation is used to obtain a proposal of 4 images based on a description and various parameters.”

Launches a generation from a plain description and returns a proposal of 4 images. An option optimizes the description for image generation, and another field asks whether the subject is animals, panoramas or landscapes.

When to use it
briefs written by non-specialists in a form or a ticket.
Watch out
Generation Name and Description are required.
6

Get Image

Action

In Zapier“Each image has a display/download URL.”

Returns a single image with its display and download link. Handy to show a preview elsewhere before deciding whether to buy.

When to use it
posting a preview in a review channel for a manager to approve.
Watch out
Image ID is required.
7

Retry Image Generation

Action

In Zapier“If a image generation is in error, it can be restarted (after modifying the description, for example).”

Restarts a generation that ended in error, for instance after you have changed its description.

When to use it
after a filter that keeps only errored generations, so a failure gets a second chance without anyone stepping in.
Watch out
a retry can change the status again and start this same Zap once more; keep the filter strict.
Searches

All-Images.ai search in Zapier

1 search step looks for data that already exists in All-Images.ai, so a later step can use it.

The All-Images.ai search sits at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. It looks into the image bank so a later step can use what it finds. Some action fields also offer + Add search step, which inserts a search just before and wires the result in. Three settings decide what happens when there is not exactly one result.

1

Find Image

Search

In Zapier“Finds Images in the bank.”

Searches the All-Images.ai bank for existing images, so you can reuse one instead of generating it again. A switch limits the search to free images only.

When to use it
before Buy Image, to pick from what is already there.
Watch out
the free-only switch is the only filter the search offers, so narrow the rest in the steps that follow.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left at its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that depend on it. Switch it on and the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
Ticking this box turns a search into a find-or-create. All-Images.ai offers no such variant, so you will not see it for Find Image.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out when several items match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass all of them on at once.
When it breaks

When an All-Images.ai Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no All-Images.ai help article and no documented rate limit to this app. What goes wrong comes from how Zaps work in general, and from the trigger reacting to every status change.

Four situations explain most surprises. Each has a simple fix once you know it; for anything else, see Zapier troubleshooting.

  • Earlier generations are ignored

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Generations that already finished stay as they are; processing them is a separate job.
  • Retries loop back on themselves

Retry Image Generation changes the status the trigger watches, so the Zap can start again and again and burn tasks. Filter tightly on the error status.
  • A burst of generations gets held back

If a large batch of generations changes status at once, the trigger sends a huge wave. Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.
  • Purchases fail on credits

Buy Image and Download Image need enough credits on the account. When the balance runs out, the step fails; Zapier does not bill the failed action.

FAQ

All-Images.ai Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the All-Images.ai Zapier integration free?
On the Zapier side, yes, as long as your Zap stays at two steps. All-Images.ai is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it, with 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. Add a filter, Find Image or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Buying or downloading images is a different meter: those actions spend your All-Images.ai credits, whatever your Zapier plan.
02How many tasks does an All-Images.ai Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger. A Zap that runs Get Image Generation each time a generation changes status costs one task per status change, which is why a filter matters here. Get Image Generation and Get Image are actions, not searches, so they count like any other action. An action that fails, for instance a purchase without enough credits, is not counted. Filter first, then act.
03Does All-Images.ai trigger Zapier in real time?
Yes. Trigger Generation Image is an instant trigger: All-Images.ai tells Zapier the moment a generation's status changes, and the Zap starts right away whatever your plan. The polling grid, from 15 minutes on Free to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, does not apply to it. In the editor, a Zap built on it shows a lightning bolt. Expect several runs per generation, one for each status change. Filter accordingly.
04What does it take to connect All-Images.ai to Zapier?
An All-Images.ai account you can sign in to, plus access to anything you do not own but want the Zap to use. The link goes through the Apps page of Zapier: click + Add connection, pick All-Images.ai, sign in in the tab that opens and grant access. Every step for this app then reuses the connection. Before testing Buy Image or Download Image, check that the account holds enough credits. That avoids a failed first test.
05Why does the Zap run several times for one generation?
Because the trigger fires on every status update of a generation, not once when it is created. A single generation can therefore start the Zap more than once as it moves along. Add a filter on the status so only the state you care about goes through, finished or errored. And never place an action that creates something new on every run, or each status change will produce a duplicate.
06What if the All-Images.ai operation needed is not in Zapier?
Then the Zap cannot do it directly. Zapier lists 1 trigger, 7 actions and 1 search for All-Images.ai, with no trigger on new bank images, no action to delete a generation and none to edit an image. Chaining what exists sometimes helps, such as Find Image then Buy Image. When the gap is central, another automation tool or a direct API approach may fit better, depending on who maintains it.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for All-Images.ai?
It depends on your criteria, not on a winner. On Zapier, All-Images.ai is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan, and its single trigger is instant; any filter or second action needs a paid plan. The catalogue is 1 trigger, 7 actions and 1 search, so check first that the operations you need are there. Then weigh how many steps your flow needs, how many status changes you expect, and which tool your team already runs and maintains.
