Emailable Zapier integrationAutomate Emailable with Zapier.
The Emailable Zapier integration gives you 2 actions, 0 triggers and 0 searches. It does one job: check an address before it lands in your CRM or newsletter tool. Since Emailable starts nothing by itself, another app opens the Zap and Emailable checks what it sends.

What the Emailable Zapier integration actually does
Zapier links apps that don't talk to each other. With Emailable, it takes an address collected somewhere else (a form, a shop, a booking tool) and asks Emailable whether that address is worth keeping. Two actions cover the whole integration, and none of them can start an automation on its own.
Three results people build with it. A cleaner list: every signup goes through Verify Email Address before it reaches your mailing tool, so a doubtful address gets flagged before it lands there. A safer sales pipeline: a lead from a contact form gets checked before a rep spends time on it. A credit check: Get Account Information reads the account owner and the credits left, which is handy before a big campaign.
Now the limits, because they shape every Zap you'll build. Emailable has no trigger on Zapier. It never tells Zapier that something happened, so it can't open a Zap. It also has no search step. You can't look up an address verified last week; you can only verify again. And nothing in the integration cleans an existing list in bulk: a Zap reacts to new records, one at a time.
The verification itself has two switches that trade speed for accuracy (SMTP and Accept-All, covered below). If you compare tools before choosing, the Emailable Make integration page covers the same app on Make, and Make vs Zapier sets the two platforms side by side.
Zapier words, in one minute
Seven terms come back on this page. Here they are in plain words.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one starting event, then one or more steps that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- What sets a Zap off, inside an app. Emailable offers none on Zapier, so a form, a shop or a CRM has to play that role.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: it writes, sends or checks something for you. Both Emailable operations are actions.
- Task
- Zapier's billing unit: one action that goes through. A verification that succeeds is one task off your monthly allowance.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer by Zapier. An instant one is pushed by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step placed after the check that lets only the addresses you want go on, for example the ones Emailable accepted.
- Connection
- Your Emailable account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that calls Emailable.
What it really costs in tasks
Emailable is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, not in Zaps.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Trigger cost0 tasks
- Each successful Emailable action1 task
The trigger from your other app costs nothing, however often Zapier checks it. Each Emailable action that succeeds counts as one task; one that fails counts for nothing. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and checks polling triggers every 15 minutes, but it only builds two-step Zaps. Add a filter after the verification and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Two steps are enough to verify; sorting good from bad is what you pay for.
Connect Emailable to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open the connections page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need an Emailable account first; Zapier only links an account that already exists.
- 02
Pick Emailable
Type Emailable in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Emailable side, where the sign-in happens.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Emailable in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection now shows in your list, and every Zap reuses it without asking again.
Your first Zap: verify every Typeform signup
GoalA SaaS team collects trial signups in Typeform and only wants checked addresses in Mailchimp.
- 01
Build the start
Create a Zap and pick Typeform with New Entry as the trigger. Testing it brings back the three most recent entries, so you map a real one.
- 02
Add the check
Add Emailable with Verify Email Address, then map the email answer from Typeform into the Email Address field. Leave SMTP on unless speed matters more than accuracy.
- 03
Test the verification
Run the step once and read what Emailable sends back. Note the value that tells a good address from a bad one: your filter will use it.
- 04
Filter, then send on
Add a Filter on that value, then Mailchimp. This makes a four-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan. On the free plan, stop at two steps.
- 05
Publish
Test each step, then click Publish. From now on, each new Typeform entry is checked; older entries are left alone for good.
The 2 Emailable actions
Emailable gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Get Account Information
ActionIn Zapier“Get account information like owner and available credits.”
This one looks at your own Emailable account rather than at an address. It returns who owns the account and how many credits remain, so a later step can pass that number to your team.
Verify Email Address
ActionIn Zapier“Verify an Email Address”
Hand it one address and Emailable tells you whether it is worth sending to. The only required field is Email Address. Two switches change the depth of the check: SMTP, on by default, and Accept-All, off by default.
When an Emailable Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Emailable. What breaks is Zapier's own behavior.
Four cases cover almost every surprise with this integration. None of them is an Emailable bug: they come from how Zaps read the app that starts them.
Old signups are never checked
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. The addresses already in your list stay unverified; moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap keeps restarting itself
If the last step writes into the same sheet or list the trigger watches, each write starts the Zap again and eats your tasks fast.A bulk import gets held back
When the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.Duplicates on a polling trigger
Zapier remembers what a polling trigger has already seen, so the same record won't start the Zap twice, which also means one verification, and one task, per record.
