Overview

What the Partnerhub Zapier integration does for you

Partnerhub is the marketplace where digital agencies and software vendors meet and run their partnerships. The integration lets Zapier pick up what happens in your Partnerhub account and pass it to the tools your team already lives in, with no code and no copy-paste between tabs.

A pipeline that fills itself. New Opportunity Received and New Offer Received push each incoming deal into your CRM or a tracking sheet, so nothing sits unread in the Partnerhub inbox.

Referrals that reach sales on time. New Referral hands every referred lead to the person who follows it up, at the moment Partnerhub records it. Your salespeople see the lead where they already work, not in one more inbox.

Partner requests that get an answer. New Partnership Request and New Interest Shown alert your partner manager, who then replies inside Partnerhub.

What Zapier does not do for Partnerhub: write anything back. The app has no action and no search, so a Zap can read events but never accept a request, answer an offer or close a task in Partnerhub. Every Zap therefore ends in another app. It also ignores what happened before you switched it on.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

The words you will meet in the editor, in everyday English.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it: here, a new offer, referral or task.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something, always in another app here.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's quota counts those.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, with no wait for a check.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval. Partnerhub has none.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Connection
Your account of an app linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that uses that app.
Cost

What a Partnerhub Zap really costs

Partnerhub itself never costs a task: its triggers are free to run. You pay for the action in the other app, one task each time it succeeds.

  • Trigger0 tasks
  • Each successful action1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • Paid-only appNo

The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and it becomes a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. A failed action is not counted. Since all 7 Partnerhub triggers are instant, the polling grid below never applies to them, even on Free. Remember too that every Partnerhub Zap needs an action in another app, so the task count is always theirs.

Connect

Connect your Partnerhub account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. This links your Partnerhub account once; every Zap that uses Partnerhub then reuses the same connection.

  2. 02

    Pick Partnerhub

Type Partnerhub in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. You need a Partnerhub account, plus access to anything you do not own but want the Zap to see.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Sign in to Partnerhub in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection appears in your list, ready for the first Zap you build.

First Zap

Your first Zap: log every new opportunity

GoalWhen Partnerhub sends your agency a new opportunity, keep only the ones you want and add a row to a tracking sheet.

  1. 01

    Build: choose the trigger

Pick Partnerhub as the app and New Opportunity Received (For Agencies Only) as the event that starts the Zap, then select your connection.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent opportunities of your account, so you map the next steps on a real one and see what it carries.

  3. 03

    Add a filter

From the plus icon, add Filter and fill the three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. A text rule for text, a number rule for numbers. This step needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the action

Choose Google Sheets and its row action, pick the sheet, then map each column to a value from the Partnerhub test item. Test this step and check the new row.

  5. 05

    Publish

Everything reads right? Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each new opportunity adds its own row, and one task.

Triggers

Partnerhub triggers

7 events start a Zap when something happens in Partnerhub, and 7 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Interest Shown (For Agencies Only)

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a tech company expresses interest.”

A software company has expressed interest in working with your agency on Partnerhub. The Zap catches that first sign of a partnership before anyone has written a word.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
alert your business development lead in team chat so they can look at the company's profile the same day.
Watch out
as the name says, it only works for agency accounts; on a software vendor's account it has nothing to report.
2

New Notification Item

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when you receive a notification.”

The widest net of the list: any notification your Partnerhub account receives starts the Zap, whatever it is about.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
mirror your Partnerhub notifications into an email digest or a chat channel, so they are not stuck inside an app nobody keeps open.
Watch out
every notification runs the Zap and costs a task for its action; keeping only some types takes a filter, which means a paid plan.
3

New Offer Received (For Agencies Only)

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when you receive a new offer.”

Your agency has received a new offer through Partnerhub, and the Zap starts with it in hand.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
log each offer in the sheet or CRM where you track partner revenue, so the team can compare offers side by side.
Watch out
the Zapier page does not say what an offer carries; run the trigger test, look at the three recent items it brings back, and map from what you see.
4

New Opportunity Received (For Agencies Only)

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when you receive a new opportunity.”

A new opportunity has reached your agency on Partnerhub. For most agency teams, this is the event that feeds the sales pipeline.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
create a deal in your CRM, or a row in a pipeline sheet, the moment the opportunity lands.
Watch out
offers and opportunities are two separate triggers and the Zapier page does not explain the difference; test both before you decide which one feeds your pipeline.
5

New Partnership Request

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when you are sent a Partnership Request.”

Someone on Partnerhub has sent you a partnership request. Unlike three triggers above, this one is not limited to agencies.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
send the request to your partner manager by email so they can review the profile and reply quickly.
Watch out
the Zap can tell you about the request but cannot accept or decline it; Partnerhub has no action, so the answer still happens inside Partnerhub.
6

New Referral

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when you are sent a Referral.”

A partner has sent you a referral, in other words a lead passed on by someone who knows you. The Zap gets it while it is still warm.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
create the contact in your CRM and assign it to the salesperson who calls new leads.
Watch out
referrals that arrived before you published the Zap are not picked up; bring those over by hand once, then let the Zap handle the new ones.
7

New Task

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a Task is created for you.”

When Partnerhub creates a task for you, the Zap copies it out to wherever you actually manage your day.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
add the task to your project tool or to-do list, so partnership follow-ups sit next to the rest of your work.
Watch out
the copy only goes one way; ticking the task off in your other tool does not close it in Partnerhub, since the app has no action.
When it breaks

When a Partnerhub Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to Partnerhub, so the known failure points are the general ones that every Zap faces.

None of them is unique to Partnerhub, but each one can cost you a lead or a chunk of your task count. If a Zap stops behaving, start with Zapier troubleshooting.

  • No catch-up on old events

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Offers, referrals and requests received before that never reach it; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

If the action in the other app writes back into something the trigger watches, the Zap can start itself again and again and burn through your tasks fast.
  • Floods held back

A sudden burst of events, after a bulk import or a migration, can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running all at once.
  • Agency-only triggers stay silent

The three triggers marked For Agencies Only have nothing to report on a software vendor's account. Pick New Partnership Request, New Referral or New Task there.

FAQ

Partnerhub Zapier integration: FAQ

01Is the Partnerhub Zapier integration free?
Yes. Partnerhub is not reserved for paid plans, so it works on the free Zapier plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one Partnerhub trigger and one action in another app. Adding a filter or a second action turns it into a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Your Partnerhub subscription is a separate matter that this page does not cover.
02How many Zapier tasks does a Partnerhub Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the Partnerhub trigger. A Zap on New Referral with one action uses one task per referral; with three actions, three per referral. An action that fails is not counted, and waiting for new events costs nothing. New Notification Item is usually the busiest trigger, since every notification runs it, so watch it closely on the free plan's 100 tasks. A filter in front of the action keeps the count down, but needs a paid plan.
03Does Partnerhub trigger Zaps in real time?
Yes. All 7 Partnerhub triggers are instant: Partnerhub tells Zapier when the event happens and the Zap starts right away. The polling intervals of the plans, 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, only apply to polling triggers, and Partnerhub has none. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt, which is a quick way to check. No Partnerhub event ever waits for the next check.
04What does connecting Partnerhub to Zapier require?
A Partnerhub account, plus access to anything you do not own but want the Zap to see. In Zapier you open Apps, click + Add connection, search for Partnerhub, click Add connection, sign in to Partnerhub in the tab that opens and grant access. Since Partnerhub has no action, you also need a connection to the app where the Zap will write, such as your CRM or a spreadsheet. That second connection follows the same steps on the Apps page.
05Why do some Partnerhub triggers say For Agencies Only?
Because three of them, New Interest Shown, New Offer Received and New Opportunity Received, describe events that only happen on the agency side of Partnerhub. On a software vendor's account they have nothing to report, so a Zap built on them stays silent. Vendors can still use New Notification Item, New Partnership Request, New Referral and New Task, which are open to every account. Check which side your account is on before you build.
06What if the Partnerhub operation you need is not there?
Then Zapier cannot do it for Partnerhub today. The editor offers 7 triggers and nothing else: no action and no search, so a Zap cannot create, update, accept or look up anything inside Partnerhub. Those steps stay manual in Partnerhub, or call for a different tool. What Zapier can do is carry each Partnerhub event to another app, where any action of that app is available. Check the trigger list in the editor before you plan around a missing step.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Partnerhub?
Decide on criteria, not on a ranking. On Zapier, Partnerhub gives 7 instant triggers and no action, and a two-step Zap runs on the free plan with 100 tasks a month. Before choosing another tool, check whether it offers Partnerhub at all, whether it can also write into Partnerhub, how it counts each run, and whether your flows will need filters, which on Zapier means a paid plan. Test any choice on real Partnerhub events before you rely on it.
