Fusioo Zapier integrationAutomate Fusioo with Zapier.
The Fusioo Zapier integration gives you 4 triggers, 2 actions and 2 searches. All four triggers are instant: a new, changed or deleted record reaches your Zap right away, even on the free plan. Below, what each one does, what it costs and what breaks.

What Fusioo and Zapier do together
Fusioo is an online database you shape yourself. Zapier links it to the rest of your tools without code: an event in Fusioo starts an automation, and the automation writes back into Fusioo or elsewhere. The link covers records only, created, changed, deleted or looked up.
Three results people actually get from it. A deletion log: Record Deleted fires, then Create Record writes a line in a separate App, so nobody wonders where a client file went. Fresh status fields: Find Record locates the right entry and Update Record changes it, without anyone opening Fusioo. A live feed of changes: Record Created or Updated pushes every edit to another tool as it happens.
What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. There is no action to delete a record, none to manage Fusioo Apps or users, and no way to search by anything other than a value or a record identifier. If your plan depends on one of those, that part stays manual in Fusioo. Searches also have their own cost: a Zap that looks up a record before updating it is no longer a two-step Zap, so it leaves the free plan behind.
Fusioo also has a Fusioo Make integration, and if you are still choosing a platform, our Make vs Zapier comparison sits next to it.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are, once, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, such as a record created in Fusioo. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or changes something for you, like Create Record.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action that your Zap completes successfully; your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and quietly stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something that already exists, like a Fusioo record, so later steps can use what it found.
What a Fusioo Zap really costs
Zapier bills actions, not checks. That one rule decides your bill.
- Free plan tasks100 per month
- Free plan Zap size2 steps: 1 trigger, 1 action
- Fusioo premium appNo, free plan works
- Fusioo triggers4, all instant
The trigger never costs a task, and neither does Zapier looking for new data. Each action that succeeds counts as one task, and in a Zap with several actions every success counts on its own. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps only: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a search step and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Fusioo is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan.
Connect Fusioo to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Fusioo account linked once, then reused by every step that touches Fusioo.
- 02
Pick Fusioo
Type Fusioo in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Fusioo side, where you sign in with your usual account.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Fusioo with the account that owns or can edit the records you plan to automate, then grant Zapier access. Create Record and Update Record write into an App, so that account needs write access there.
Your first Fusioo Zap: a log of deleted records
GoalEach time a record is deleted in Fusioo, keep a line about it in a dedicated log App, but only for the records that matter.
- 01
Build the trigger
Click Build, pick Fusioo as the trigger app and Record Deleted as the event. Choose the Fusioo connection you created earlier.
- 02
Test it on a real deletion
Run the Test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the account, so delete a throwaway record first if none exists yet.
- 03
Add the filter
Add a Filter step from the plus icon. Pick the field, the rule and the value. Use a text rule for text fields, or the filter will never pass.
- 04
Write the log line
Add Create Record on Fusioo, choose the log App and map what the trigger returned into its fields. Never point it at an App that another Zap of yours watches.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action once and check the new line in Fusioo. Then click Publish: the Zap is on, and it only reacts to deletions made from now on.
The 4 Fusioo triggers
4 events start a Zap when something happens in Fusioo, and 4 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Record Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a record is created.”
Starts your Zap as soon as a new record appears in Fusioo, so the next step can act on that fresh entry while it still matters to someone.
Record Created or Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a record is created or updated.”
Fires on both events at once: a brand new record, and any later change to an existing one. One Zap then covers the whole life of an entry.
Record Deleted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a record is deleted.”
Reacts when someone removes a record from Fusioo, which is the one moment a database usually forgets to tell anyone about.
Record Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a record is updated.”
Runs your Zap whenever an existing record changes, and ignores brand new entries, which keeps the Zap focused on edits.
The 2 Fusioo actions
Fusioo gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Record
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new record for an App you specify.”
Adds a new entry to the Fusioo App you choose, filled with values from earlier steps of the Zap.
Update Record
ActionIn Zapier“Update record in Fusioo.”
Changes the fields of a record that already exists, with values taken from earlier steps of the Zap.
The 2 Fusioo searches
2 search steps look for data that already exists in Fusioo, so a later step can use it.
A search step finds a record that already exists, then hands it to the next steps. In the editor, searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH, and some fields offer + Add search step to insert one for you. Whether a value must match exactly is decided by Fusioo, not Zapier.
Find Record
SearchFind or createIn Zapier“Search for a record in Fusioo.”
Looks up a record from a value you give it, then passes the record, identifier included, to the following steps.
Get Record
SearchIn Zapier“Get a record from Fusioo using the Record Identifier.”
Fetches one precise record when you already hold its Record Identifier, with no guessing about which match to keep.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that depended on it. Switch it on and the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create Record if it doesn't exist yet?Ticking this box turns Find Record into its find-or-create version. The setting above disappears and the step asks for the fields needed to create the missing record.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several records match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass all of them on together.
When a Fusioo Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Fusioo, so the failures to plan for are the general ones.
Four general cases to keep in mind. When a run fails and you cannot see why, the Zapier troubleshooting guide is the next stop.
Old records are never picked up
A Zap reacts only to what happens after you publish it. Records created or deleted earlier stay out, and moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap triggers itself in a loop
Update Record on the record that Record Updated watches starts the Zap again, and each pass burns a task. Add a filter or write somewhere else.A bulk import is held back
Import hundreds of records at once and Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch back instead of firing the Zap for every single one.The search finds nothing
With the default setting, a Find Record that comes back empty stops the Zap there, and the update after it never runs. Check the value you search by.
