Landing Zapier integrationAutomate Landing with Zapier.

The Landing Zapier integration has 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. It tells Zapier the moment someone becomes a lead on a page you built with Landing, so the contact can reach your CRM, your newsletter or a spreadsheet without a single export.

Overview

What the Landing Zapier integration actually does

Landing uses AI to put together landing pages in your colours, even if you have never touched code or a design tool. On Zapier it has one event to offer, Lead Created, and it reports it the instant it happens. From there, any other app can take the lead. Zapier sends nothing back into Landing.

Three results people get from Lead Created:

A CRM that fills itself. Each new lead becomes a person or a contact in your sales tool, ready for a callback while the visitor still remembers your offer.

A newsletter that grows on autopilot. Every sign-up joins your mailing list, so the welcome email goes out without anyone copying addresses.

A shared log for the marketing team. Each lead adds a spreadsheet row, which is often all you need to see which page converts.

What Zapier does not do here: it cannot build, edit or publish a page, update a lead, or look one up. Landing offers no action and no search on Zapier. And the trigger starts the clock when you publish the Zap: leads from before that point are not sent.

Before you commit to a platform, see our Zapier review. To get comfortable in the editor, see our Zapier training page. On Zapier, Landing offers a single trigger, and it is instant.

Vocabulary

Zapier words in one minute

The words you will meet in the editor, one plain line each.

Zap
The automation you build: one starting event, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap. For Landing, it is Lead Created: a visitor turning into a lead on one of your pages.
Action
What the Zap does next, in another app: create a contact, add a subscriber, add a row. Landing itself offers none.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. Each action that completes successfully is one task, counted against your plan's monthly allowance.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens. Lead Created works this way, so there is no timer.
Polling trigger
The opposite: Zapier checks the app on a timer set by your plan. Most apps work like this, but Landing does not.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the lead meets your condition. Adding one makes the Zap multi-step, so paid.
Cost

What a Landing Zap costs you

Short version: the lead arrives for free. Each place you send it costs one task.

  • Premium appNo, works on the free plan
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Lead CreatedInstant, free, no polling delay
  • Each successful action after it1 task

The trigger never consumes a task. Each action that succeeds afterwards counts as one, and a failed one does not. Landing is not a premium app, so the free plan works: 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps. Lead Created is instant, so the 15-minute check of the free plan does not apply to it. A filter, a second action or a search, though, turns the Zap into a multi-step one, which needs a paid plan.

Connect

Connect your Landing account

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need an existing Landing account; if a teammate owns the pages, ask for access first.

  2. 02

Find Landing and start the link

Type Landing in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Landing side to finish the link.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to Landing in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection is saved once under Apps, and every Zap that starts from Landing reuses it afterwards.

First Zap

Your first Landing Zap, step by step

GoalCreate a person in your CRM for each new lead, skipping the ones you submit while testing.

  1. 01

    Build: pick the trigger

Create a Zap, choose Landing as the app and Lead Created as the event, then select your Landing connection. No other setting is asked for.

  2. 02

    Test with a real lead

Fill in your own page once, then test the trigger. Zapier brings back the three most recent items, so you map fields on a real lead.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add Filter, then set field, rule and value with a text rule on the email. Test leads stop there, and the Zap becomes multi-step, so paid.

  4. 04

    Add the CRM action

Pick your CRM and its person action, then map name, email and any other answer from the lead to the matching fields of the record.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test the action and check the new person. When it is right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. Leads created before that moment stay in Landing.

Triggers

The Landing trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Landing, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Lead Created

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is created.”

Starts your Zap every time a visitor becomes a new lead on one of your Landing pages, and passes what that person entered to the next step. It asks for nothing to set up beyond the connection, which makes it one of the quickest triggers to wire.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
whenever a new lead should reach your CRM, your list or your sales chat while the visitor is still on the page.
Watch out
only leads created after you publish the Zap are sent; older ones never come through.
When it breaks

When a Landing Zap breaks

Zapier publishes no help article and no specific limit for Landing. What goes wrong comes from how Zaps behave in general.

Most problems come from expecting old leads, from the app that follows Landing, or from a Zap that feeds itself. If you hit a wall, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Older leads never come through

A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is published. Leads created before that stay in Landing; moving them is a separate job.
  • A loop eats your tasks

If the Zap writes somewhere that creates a new Landing lead, it sets itself off again and again and burns through the task count fast.
  • A launch spike gets held back

If a campaign brings a huge burst of leads at once, Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch back before the next app receives it.
  • Duplicates come from a second Zap

One lead starts each Zap once. Two Zaps built on the same trigger would each send it, so the same person can appear twice downstream.

FAQ

Landing Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the Landing Zapier integration free?
Yes, for a two-step Zap. Landing is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan, which includes 100 tasks a month. Lead Created followed by one action in another app fits inside that. Add a filter, a second action or a search and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The free plan still lets you build as many Zaps as you like, and Lead Created fires right away on it.
02How many tasks does each Landing lead use?
None for the lead itself, because the trigger never costs a task. What counts is each action that succeeds after it: one new contact, one subscriber, one row. Send each lead to a single app and it is one task per lead; add a second action and it becomes two. An action that fails is not counted. On a page that converts well, the number of actions you chain is what drives your monthly usage.
03Does Landing send leads to Zapier in real time?
Yes. Lead Created is an instant trigger: Landing tells Zapier the moment a lead is created, and the Zap starts right away. The plan intervals, 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional and 1 on Team or Enterprise, only apply to polling triggers, so they do not slow this one down. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt, which is the fastest way to confirm it.
04What does it take to connect Landing to Zapier?
A Landing account and a Zapier account. From the Apps page in Zapier, click + Add connection, search for Landing, click Add connection, then sign in on the tab that opens and grant access. The connection is saved once and every Zap reuses it. If a colleague owns the pages, you need access to them first. Lead Created asks for no other setting, so you can test as soon as the link is made.
05Why are older Landing leads missing from the CRM?
Because a Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Lead Created reports new leads from the moment you publish the Zap, and nothing that already existed is picked up. Moving older leads is a separate job, done outside the Zap. Plan for it on day one: publish the Zap first, then deal with the backlog, so no lead falls in the gap between the two. Nothing is lost that way.
06What if the operation you need does not exist?
Then the integration cannot do it today. Landing offers one trigger on Zapier and nothing else: no action to create or update a lead, no search to find one, nothing to edit a page. Check the Landing page on Zapier from time to time, because the list changes when the app publishes a new version. If the missing step matters, a platform that can call the app directly is the other route.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Landing?
Pick on criteria, not on a ranking. Zapier gives you a ready instant trigger and the shortest path to a working Zap, billed per successful action. Make and n8n count usage differently, so check first whether they offer a Landing module or need another way in. If all you want is each lead sent to one tool the moment it arrives, the Zapier version runs on the free plan, and an action that fails is never billed.
