Launch Control Zapier integration: 0 triggers, 1 action, 0 searches. Launch Control, the outreach tool built for real estate investors, can receive every new lead from your forms, sheets or CRM and drop it straight into the right campaign. It cannot start a Zap on its own.

Overview

What the Launch Control Zapier integration does for an investor

The integration lets a Zap (an automation that runs a set of steps each time something happens in an app) send prospects into Launch Control as soon as another tool records them. Launch Control sits at the end of the chain: it receives leads, it never starts the work itself.

Three results investors actually get from that one action. Website leads in a campaign while they are warm: a seller fills in the form on your site, and Add a Prospect drops the name and phone number into the campaign you picked, with no export at the end of the day. A list that feeds itself: each new row in the spreadsheet where your team logs properties and owners becomes a prospect, so whoever builds the list never touches Launch Control. One campaign per lead source: separate Zaps for the form, the sheet and the CRM each point to their own campaign, which keeps your follow-up messages matched to where the lead came from.

What Zapier does not do for Launch Control. There is no trigger and no search. A Zap cannot react to a reply, a status change or anything else that happens inside Launch Control, and it cannot check whether a phone number is already in a campaign before adding it again. The integration is one door in, and only for prospects. If you are weighing tools, see our Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier comparisons.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Seven words come back on every Zapier screen. Here they are in plain terms.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run each time that event happens.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap. Launch Control has none, so a form, a sheet or a CRM always plays that role for it.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes or sends something for you, like adding a prospect to a campaign.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan is a count of those.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by its app the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming data meets a rule you set, such as a phone number being present.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap with more than one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action turns it into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What it really costs

Launch Control is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. Zapier counts tasks, and only completed actions are billed.

  • Trigger checks0 tasks
  • Each prospect added1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Premium appNo, available on the free plan

The trigger in your form or sheet never costs a task, however often Zapier checks it. Each Add a Prospect that goes through costs one; one that fails, because a phone number is missing for instance, costs nothing. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps only. Add a filter to keep leads without a phone out, and the Zap needs a paid plan. How fast a lead lands depends on the trigger app and your plan's polling interval.

Connect

Connect Launch Control to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open your Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. Every connection lives on this page, so you link Launch Control once and pick it from any Zap later.

  2. 02

    Pick Launch Control

Type Launch Control in the search box of the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Launch Control side to complete the link.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to Launch Control in that tab and give Zapier access to the account. Use a login that can add prospects to every campaign the Zap will feed, including ones you do not own yourself.

First Zap

Your first Zap: seller leads from a sheet into a campaign

GoalEvery new seller lead with a phone number joins your follow-up campaign in Launch Control.

  1. 01

Create the Zap and pick the trigger

Start a new Zap and choose the app where leads arrive as the trigger, here a new spreadsheet row. Launch Control cannot start a Zap, so this first step always comes from another tool.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent rows of the connected sheet. Pick one with a real name and phone so the next steps are mapped on actual data.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Add a Filter step from the plus icon and set the field, the rule and the value: the phone column exists. This turns the Zap multi-step, so a paid plan is needed.

  4. 04

    Add Add a Prospect

Pick Launch Control as the action app and Add a Prospect as the event, choose your connection, select the campaign, then map first name, last name and phone from the sheet.

  5. 05

    Test and publish

Test the action and check that the prospect appears in the campaign. Then click Publish. Only rows added after this moment will be sent to Launch Control.

Actions

Launch Control actions in Zapier

Launch Control gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Add a Prospect

Action

In Zapier“Adds a prospect to a campaign.”

Puts a new lead into one of your Launch Control campaigns, using the name and phone number an earlier step brought in, so outreach starts without anyone importing a file.

When to use it
a homeowner leaves their details on your landing page and should join the matching campaign while the lead is still fresh.
Watch out
four fields are required, FirstName, Last Name, Phone 1 and Campaign, and a single blank one makes the step fail for that lead.
When it breaks

When the Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Launch Control and lists no limit specific to it. What breaks is the general behavior of Zaps, plus the four required fields of the action.

Read the four cases below before switching the Zap on, and open the run history whenever a lead is missing from a campaign. For repairs, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.

  • Old leads are never sent

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Leads already in the sheet stay out of Launch Control, and moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A blank phone stops the step

Phone 1 is required. A row or a form entry without a number fails at Add a Prospect, so filter those leads out or make the phone mandatory upstream.
  • A bulk paste gets held back

Paste a whole list into the sheet at once and the trigger returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.
  • An edited row does not resend

Zapier remembers what it has already seen on a polling trigger. Fixing a phone number on an old row will not push that lead to Launch Control again.

FAQ

Launch Control Zapier integration: frequent questions

01Is the Launch Control Zapier integration free?
Yes, for simple Zaps. Launch Control is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan, which includes 100 tasks a month. The limit people miss is the size of the Zap: the free plan builds one trigger and one action, nothing more. Add a filter to keep leads without a phone number out, or a second action after Add a Prospect, and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Zapier's prices move often, so check the current grid before choosing.
02How many tasks does it use?
One task per prospect added successfully, and nothing else. The trigger in your form, sheet or CRM is free, however often Zapier checks it. A Zap that sends each lead to Launch Control therefore uses one task per lead. An attempt that fails, for example because the phone number was blank, is not counted against your plan. If you add a second action, such as a notification to your team, each lead then costs two tasks.
03Does it run in real time?
It depends on the app that starts the Zap, because Launch Control has no trigger of its own. If that app reports new leads instantly, the prospect reaches Launch Control right away whatever your plan. If its trigger works by polling, Zapier checks on a timer: every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 on Professional, every minute on Team and Enterprise. In the Zapier editor, a lightning bolt on the Zap shows it is built on an instant trigger.
04What is needed to connect a Launch Control account?
A Launch Control account and three quick steps. Open Apps in Zapier, click + Add connection, search for Launch Control and confirm with Add connection, then sign in to Launch Control in the tab that opens and grant access. The account you connect must be able to add prospects to the campaigns the Zap will use. The connection is saved once and reused by every Zap that sends leads to Launch Control.
05Why does Add a Prospect fail on some leads?
Almost always because one of its four required fields is empty. Add a Prospect needs a first name, a last name, a phone number and a campaign every single time. Web forms often make the phone optional, and some lead lists carry only a full name in one column. Make those fields mandatory at the source, split the name, or add a filter so incomplete leads stop before Launch Control. A failed attempt costs no task, but the lead is not added.
06What if the Launch Control operation you want is not there?
On Zapier, Launch Control offers a single action, Add a Prospect, with no trigger and no search. A Zap cannot react to replies, update a prospect, move one between campaigns or check for duplicates. If the workflow depends on those, the realistic options are to ask Launch Control whether more operations are planned, or to compare what other automation platforms expose for it before building anything around a missing step.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Launch Control?
It depends on criteria, not on a winner. On Zapier, Launch Control offers one action, works on the free plan for two-step Zaps, and connects in three steps without code. Compare which Launch Control operations each platform exposes, how each one bills a run, whether a trigger exists there to react to replies, and who on your team will maintain the workflow once lead volume grows. Neither option is better in the abstract.
