LeadBoxer Zapier integrationAutomate LeadBoxer with Zapier.
The LeadBoxer Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 0 actions and 1 search. Enough to send each lead LeadBoxer identifies to your other tools, and to look a lead up by an exact email or company name when another app needs its details.

What the LeadBoxer Zapier integration is good for
LeadBoxer turns your online data into B2B sales leads: it shows which businesses came to your site and lets you score, rank and filter them. With Zapier, those leads stop living only in LeadBoxer. Each new one can travel to the tools your team uses, and any of them can be looked up from another Zap.
Three results you can set up. A shared lead sheet: New Lead writes every lead from a chosen dataset into your spreadsheet, so the whole team works from one list. A filtered alert: a filter keeps only the leads that match your condition and passes them on as a message, a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan. A lookup: in a Zap started by another app, Find Lead fetches a LeadBoxer lead from an exact email or company name and hands its details to the next step.
What Zapier does not do for LeadBoxer. It cannot write into the app at all: there is no action, so no Zap creates, scores or updates a lead in LeadBoxer. The search only returns exact matches, so a partial name finds nothing. And the trigger is checked on a timer, never the instant a lead is identified. Those checks cost nothing: only a completed action is billed.

Zapier words in one minute
Seven words show up all over this page. Here they are once, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, here a new lead in LeadBoxer. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer, asking for new items. An instant one is reported by the app itself.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something that already exists in an app, so the steps that follow can use what it found.
What it really costs you
LeadBoxer is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The New Lead trigger never costs a task, and Zapier checking LeadBoxer for new leads costs nothing either, however often it looks.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Trigger typePolling, 15 min on Free
- Using Find LeadMulti-step Zap, paid plan
Tasks go on the actions: each successful one counts once, and one that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap is two steps: one trigger, one action. Adding Find Lead, a filter or a second action makes it a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan. How fast a new lead arrives depends on the plan grid below; on paid plans you can also change it and run a check by hand.
Connect LeadBoxer to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a LeadBoxer account, plus access to anything you do not own and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Find LeadBoxer
Type LeadBoxer in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the LeadBoxer side, where you sign in to your account.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to LeadBoxer in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection then appears on your Apps page, ready for every Zap that reads or looks up LeadBoxer leads.
Your first LeadBoxer Zap
GoalEach new LeadBoxer lead that passes a filter lands as a row in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap in Zapier. You build it from the top: the app and event that start it, then the app and action that follow.
- 02
Set the trigger
Pick LeadBoxer and New Lead, choose your connection, then the dataset to watch. Test it: Zapier brings back the three most recent leads.
- 03
Add the filter
Add a Filter step and fill its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value. Leads that fail stop there. A filter makes the Zap multi-step: paid plan.
- 04
Add the spreadsheet
Add your spreadsheet as the action and map the lead's details into its columns, working from the real lead the test brought back.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step once and read what came back before going on. When the row looks right in your sheet, click Publish to switch it on.
The LeadBoxer trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in LeadBoxer. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Lead
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead has been identified.”
The Zap starts each time LeadBoxer identifies a new lead in the dataset you picked, and that lead's details are handed to every step after it, ready to be copied, filtered or announced in another app.
The LeadBoxer search
1 search step looks for data that already exists in LeadBoxer, so a later step can use it.
A search step fetches something that already exists, here a LeadBoxer lead, so later steps can use it. In the editor, searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under the SEARCH heading. Three settings decide what happens when the result is not a clean single match.
Find Lead
SearchIn Zapier“Finds an existing lead.”
Looks through all the data of a dataset for one lead, from a full email or a company name, and passes what it found to the next step.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and the steps that needed it are skipped. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet?Ticking it turns a search into a find-or-create. LeadBoxer offers no such variant on Zapier, so Find Lead can only find, never create.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several leads match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or hand all of them on at once.
When the LeadBoxer Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to LeadBoxer and documents no app-specific limit. What goes wrong comes from Zapier's general rules, plus the exact-match search, which is easy to trip on.
Four cases worth knowing before you rely on a LeadBoxer Zap. If one of them bites, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Find Lead returns nothing
Only exact matches come back. A partial email or a short company name finds nothing, and by default the Zap stops at that step.Older leads never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads identified before that are not picked up, so the history needs its own transfer.A bulk batch gets held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back.A lead never runs twice
On a polling trigger Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same lead does not start the Zap a second time.
