What the LeadFuze Zapier integration does
LeadFuze is a lead generation app: it helps you build lists of targeted leads. On Zapier, it does one job. Each time leads are added to one of your LeadFuze lists, it tells Zapier, and a Zap can carry those leads into the other apps where your team works.
Your lists, mirrored in a spreadsheet. Leads Added starts the Zap and a row lands in your spreadsheet for what came in. The people who never log in to LeadFuze still see every new lead, the moment it lands on a list.
Leads handed straight to your next tool. Instead of exporting a list and importing it elsewhere, the Zap passes the leads on as they are added, to whatever app picks up the follow-up.
Only the leads you want to move. A filter after Leads Added lets the Zap go on only for leads that meet your condition. The rest stop there and cost no task.
What Zapier does not do here: there is no action and no search for LeadFuze, so a Zap can never add a lead to a list, edit one or look one up inside LeadFuze. Building and cleaning the lists stays in LeadFuze. If you need two-way traffic, our Make vs Zapier and Zapier alternatives pages are the next stops. Those lists remain the source, and the Zap only carries copies onward.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words do the heavy lifting on this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Here it is leads landing on a LeadFuze list, and Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in another app here.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant one is reported by the app itself. Leads Added is instant.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LeadFuze account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that starts from it.
What a LeadFuze Zap really costs
LeadFuze is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. The Leads Added trigger never costs a task, and Zapier waiting for new leads costs nothing either.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan Zaps2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo, LeadFuze runs on the free plan
- Leads AddedInstant, no plan interval applies
The bill comes from the next steps: each action that succeeds in the receiving app counts as one task, and a failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and stops at two steps, one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action turns the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers only; Leads Added is instant, so your plan never delays it.
Connect LeadFuze to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your apps
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a LeadFuze account first, plus access to any list you do not own yourself and want the Zap to read.
- 02
Find LeadFuze
Search LeadFuze in the dialog, pick it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the LeadFuze side, and that is where you sign in, not inside Zapier.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to LeadFuze in that tab and give Zapier access to the account. The connection then shows in your apps, ready for every Zap that starts from Leads Added.
Your first LeadFuze Zap, step by step
GoalLeads added to a LeadFuze list that pass a filter go into rows of your spreadsheet.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap and pick LeadFuze as the app that starts it. Choose Leads Added as the event, then select the connection you added.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the account. Pick a real one, since every later step is mapped on what it holds.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon and add Filter. In Configure & test, set the field to look at, the rule, and the value to compare with. A number rule on text never passes.
- 04
Add the action
Add your spreadsheet as the next step, choose the action that adds a row, and map each column to a value from the lead. Test the step once and check the row that comes back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. With the filter, it is a three-step Zap that needs a paid plan; without it, the Zap fits the free plan.
The LeadFuze trigger on Zapier
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in LeadFuze, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Leads Added
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when leads are added to a Leadfuze list.”
When leads land on one of your LeadFuze lists, this trigger hands them to Zapier and the Zap starts. It is the only operation LeadFuze offers on Zapier, so every LeadFuze Zap is built on it.
When a LeadFuze Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to LeadFuze and documents no app-specific limit. The weak spots are the general ones of Zapier, and one of them is easy to hit with a lead list tool.
None of these show as an error in LeadFuze. You notice leads that never arrived, or runs held back in the Zap history. When the cause is not obvious, our Zapier troubleshooting page is the next stop.
Leads added in bulk held back
When the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the runs back.No catch-up on existing lists
A Zap reacts only to leads added after you switch it on. Lists you built before stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.A filter that never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule on numbers. Pick the wrong one and no lead ever gets through to the next step.A filter on the free plan
A Zap with a filter is multi-step, and the free plan stops at one trigger and one action. Publishing that Zap requires a paid plan.
