Leadiful Zapier integrationAutomate Leadiful with Zapier.

The Leadiful Zapier integration is small: 1 trigger, 1 action and no search. Get Campaigns reads your campaigns on a timer, and Lead Creation files a new lead into one of them from any other app. Here is what each does, what it costs and where it trips.

Overview

What the Leadiful Zapier integration is for

Leadiful is a CRM built to turn leads into customers. Through Zapier, it can receive new leads from the tools where they first show up, and hand its list of campaigns to other apps, all without code. Two operations, so the use cases are narrow but clear.

The main result is leads that file themselves: a form, a landing page tool or a spreadsheet starts the Zap, and Lead Creation adds the person to the right Leadiful campaign with their last name, email and phone number. No copy and paste, no forgotten row.

The second result is a campaign list visible outside Leadiful: Get Campaigns reads your campaigns so another tool, such as a shared sheet, can keep track of them.

The third is a combination: one intake, several destinations. On a paid plan, the same form entry can create the Leadiful lead and also notify your team in another app.

What Zapier does not do with Leadiful: there is no way to update or delete a lead, no search to check whether a lead already exists, and no instant trigger. Anything beyond creating leads and reading campaigns happens inside Leadiful itself, so plan the flow around those two operations.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, in plain English

Six terms explain everything below.

Zap
An automation built in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier keeps an eye out for that event.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that creates, sends or updates something in an app for you.
Task
What Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan sets how many you get each month.
Polling vs instant
Polling means Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant means the app itself tells Zapier the moment something happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data matches a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Cost

What it costs to run

Leadiful is not a premium app, so it works on the free Zapier plan. You pay in tasks, never in triggers.

  • Trigger cost0 tasks
  • Lead Creation1 task per lead created
  • Free plan100 tasks per month, 2-step Zaps
  • Premium appNo, works on the free plan

Zapier checking Get Campaigns costs nothing, however often it looks. Each successful action counts as one task: one Lead Creation is one task, and a failed one is not counted. The free plan stops at two steps per Zap, one trigger and one action. Adding a filter to keep only some form entries, or a second action, turns it into a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Get Campaigns is a polling trigger, so the interval grid below applies to it.

Connect

Connect Leadiful to Zapier

  1. 01

    Start from Apps

Open Apps in your Zapier account and click + Add connection. The connection links your Leadiful account to Zapier once; every Zap that uses Leadiful reuses it afterwards.

  2. 02

    Find Leadiful

Search for Leadiful in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A tab opens on the Leadiful side, where you sign in with your own credentials.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Sign in to Leadiful and allow Zapier to use the account. You need a Leadiful account, plus read or write access to any campaign you do not own and want the Zap to feed.

First Zap

Your first Leadiful Zap

GoalEach Leadiful campaign gets its own row in a spreadsheet your team already reads.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Click Create in Zapier, pick Leadiful as the trigger app and Get Campaigns as the event, then select your Leadiful connection.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you see what a campaign looks like before mapping anything.

  3. 03

    Add a filter (optional)

From the plus icon, add a Filter and set the field, the rule and the value. A filter makes the Zap multi-step, so this version needs a paid plan; skip it on Free.

  4. 04

    Add the spreadsheet action

Add your spreadsheet app with its create-row action, connect it, and map the campaign data returned by the trigger into the columns you want to keep.

  5. 05

    Test and publish

Test the action and check the new row. Then click Publish. Lead Creation works the same way in a second Zap whose trigger sits in your form tool.

Triggers

Leadiful trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Leadiful. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

Get Campaigns

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a user is logged in , it lists all his campaigns”

Reads the list of campaigns tied to the connected Leadiful account and passes them to Zapier, so another app can receive them. Zapier keeps track of what it already saw, so a campaign does not start the Zap twice.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
you want your Leadiful campaigns listed in a shared sheet that the rest of the company reads.
Watch out
Zapier's own description of this trigger is vague, so test it once and read what it returns before building anything on it.
Actions

Leadiful action

Leadiful gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Lead Creation

Action

In Zapier“You can create your leads here”

Adds a new lead to a Leadiful campaign from data that arrived in another app, so your team works it without retyping.

When to use it
a contact form on your website collects prospects and each one should land in the current campaign.
Watch out
Last name, Email, Campaign and Phone number are all required, and the integration has no search to check for an existing lead first.
When it breaks

When a Leadiful Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to Leadiful and documents no rate limit specific to it. The problems you will meet are Zapier's general ones.

  • Past entries are not imported

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Leads collected before that stay in your form tool; moving them into Leadiful is a separate job.
  • A missing phone stops the action

Lead Creation requires a phone number. A form where that field is optional will produce entries that fail at the Leadiful step.
  • Bulk imports can be held back

If many campaigns appear at once, after a bulk import into Leadiful, the trigger can return a huge batch, and Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.
  • Duplicates come from the source

Zapier remembers what a polling trigger already saw, but this integration has no search to check whether a lead exists. A form sent twice can give two leads.

FAQ

Leadiful Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the Leadiful Zapier integration free?
Yes. Leadiful is not a premium app, so it runs on the free Zapier plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap is limited to two steps, one trigger and one action. A form that feeds Lead Creation fits in that limit. As soon as you add a filter or a second action, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan, which is the limit most people discover too late.
02How many tasks does a Leadiful Zap use?
One task for each lead that Lead Creation adds successfully. The trigger costs nothing, and neither do the checks Zapier runs on Get Campaigns, however frequent they are. A failed action, for example a lead missing its phone number, is not counted. If you add a second action, such as a notification to your team, each successful action counts separately, so that Zap would use two tasks per lead. Count your expected leads per month against the 100 tasks of the free plan.
03Does the Leadiful trigger work in real time?
No. Get Campaigns is a polling trigger: Zapier asks Leadiful for new items at a fixed interval. That interval depends on the plan, every 15 minutes on Free, 2 minutes on Professional and 1 minute on Team and Enterprise. Paid plans can also run a check by hand from the editor. For new leads, the speed depends on the trigger of the source app instead, since Lead Creation runs as soon as that trigger fires.
04What does it take to connect Leadiful to Zapier?
A Leadiful account you can sign in to, and read or write access to any campaign you do not own but want the Zap to use. The connection starts from the Apps page with + Add connection, then you sign in to Leadiful in a new tab and grant access. Before the first test, make sure the account has at least one campaign, because Lead Creation cannot run without one. Without that campaign the action has nowhere to file the lead.
05Why does Lead Creation fail on some form entries?
Because four fields are required: Last name, Email, Campaign and Phone number. If the source form lets a visitor skip the phone or the last name, that entry reaches Leadiful incomplete and the action stops. Make those fields mandatory in the form, or add a filter that lets through only complete entries. A filter makes the Zap multi-step, so that second option needs a paid plan. Testing once with an incomplete entry shows the problem quickly.
06What if the Leadiful operation you want is not there?
With only one trigger and one action, many needs are not covered: updating a lead, deleting one, finding an existing lead or reacting the moment a lead is created. None of those exist in the Zapier integration today, and no setting adds them. That work stays inside Leadiful, done by hand. Checking the app's Zapier page again later is worth it, since that is where a new operation would show up.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Leadiful?
The answer depends on criteria, not on a winner. Zapier offers a ready-made Leadiful connector with both operations, which covers a simple form-to-lead flow. For Make or n8n, first check whether a native Leadiful connector exists. Then let your volume of leads, your budget, who will maintain the automation and how complex the logic is drive the decision. For a two-operation app, those criteria matter more than the platform's name.
