Meiro Zapier integrationAutomate Meiro with Zapier.

The Meiro Zapier integration has 1 trigger and no action. New Completion is instant: Meiro tells Zapier when a completion comes in, and your Zap passes it on to another tool, even on the free plan. Everything after that happens in the other app.

Overview

What the Meiro Zapier integration does with your quiz results

Meiro is an AI builder for quizzes and tests, used to collect leads and keep an audience engaged. Connected to Zapier, it starts a Zap (the automation you build on Zapier: one event that starts it, then one or more steps that run every time) whenever a new completion comes in, so the result reaches your other tools without an export.

A results sheet that fills itself. With New Completion as the trigger and a new-row action in your spreadsheet, each completion becomes a line you can sort and share. Pick the columns from what the trigger test brings back.

Leads in your CRM, not stuck in a quiz. If your quiz asks for contact details, the same trigger can feed a create-contact action in your CRM. Check at the test which fields the completion carries before you map a single one.

A heads-up for whoever follows up. A message to your team chat or an email to sales, built from the completion, means nobody has to watch the Meiro dashboard to know that someone finished a test.

What Zapier does not do here: Meiro has no action and no search step on Zapier, so a Zap can read completions but cannot create, change or look anything up in Meiro. It also never picks up completions from before the Zap was switched on. If you are weighing other tools for the same job, see our n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier comparisons.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, in plain English

Seven words come back throughout this page. Here they are once, so the rest reads easily.

Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it; for Meiro, a new completion.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. With Meiro, it always lives in another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully; the number on your plan counts those.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a check. New Completion is one.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval. Meiro has none.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it there otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a Meiro Zap really costs

Meiro is not a premium app, so it works from Zapier's free plan. Zapier bills in tasks, and only a completed action is one.

  • New CompletionInstant, no task
  • Each successful action1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • Premium appNo

A completion that starts your Zap costs nothing: the trigger never takes a task. What you pay for is the action in the other app, one task each time it succeeds. Send each completion to a sheet and you spend one task per completion; add an email to sales and it becomes two. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited two-step Zaps. A filter or a second action needs a paid plan. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers only; it does not apply to New Completion, which is instant.

Connect

Connect Meiro to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. A connection is your Meiro account linked once, then reused by every Zap that starts in Meiro.

  2. 02

    Pick Meiro

Type Meiro in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so you can identify yourself on the Meiro side of the link.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Sign in to Meiro in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. You need a Meiro account, plus read or write access to anything you do not own and want the Zap to touch.

First Zap

Your first Zap: every completion as a spreadsheet row

GoalEach time Meiro receives a new completion, the Zap adds a row to your results spreadsheet, so the team reads every result in one place.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap, pick Meiro as the app that starts it and New Completion as the event, then select the connection you just made.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map fields on a real completion. Pick the one that looks most like the results you expect.

  3. 03

    Add the spreadsheet row

Add your spreadsheet app with its new-row action and pick the sheet. Map each column to a field the trigger test showed, and only to those.

  4. 04

    Add the team message

Add your team chat with its send-message action and write a short text using fields from the completion. This second action makes the Zap multi-step.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Run each step once and read what came back. When the row and the message look right, publish the Zap to switch it on. Being multi-step, it needs a paid plan.

Triggers

The Meiro trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Meiro, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Completion

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when new completion is received.”

Starts a Zap each time Meiro receives a new completion. It is the only operation Meiro offers on Zapier, so every Meiro Zap begins here and sends what it gets to another app.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
you run a lead quiz and want every result copied to a sheet, a CRM or a team chat without exporting it.
Watch out
the fields it hands on are not listed anywhere; map only what the trigger test brings back from a real completion.
When it breaks

When a Meiro Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Meiro, and no rate limit is published for it. What breaks is what breaks on any Zap.

Three cases cover most of the surprises with a single-trigger app. If a Zap stops for a reason you cannot place, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Old completions never arrive

A Zap only reacts to completions that happen after you switch it on. Results already in Meiro stay there; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A sudden burst is held back

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the runs back instead of letting them all through.
  • A failed action writes nothing

If the action in the other app fails, the task is not counted, but nothing is written either. The completion still exists in Meiro, so check the action at the test.

FAQ

Meiro Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the Meiro Zapier integration free?
Yes. Meiro is not a premium app, so it runs on Zapier's free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. A Zap that sends each completion to one spreadsheet fits that exactly. As soon as you add a second action, such as a team message, or a filter, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does a Meiro Zap use?
The Meiro side costs nothing, because New Completion is a trigger and a trigger never takes a task. You pay for the actions in your other apps, one task for each that succeeds. A Zap that writes each completion to a sheet uses one task per completion. Adding a message to sales doubles that. An action that fails is not billed, but it does not write anything either. Test it on a real completion first.
03Is Meiro on Zapier real time?
Yes. New Completion is an instant trigger: Meiro tells Zapier when a completion comes in, and the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan. The interval grid of the plans, 15 minutes on Free, only concerns polling triggers, and Meiro has none. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt. The actions that follow run in their own apps. Meiro does not wait for any check from Zapier: it sends the completion itself.
04What does it take to connect a Meiro account?
A Meiro account you can sign in to, plus read or write access to anything you do not own and want the Zap to touch. The connection is made once from the Apps page with + Add connection, then reused by every Zap that starts in Meiro. Nothing else is required on the Meiro side, because New Completion has no field to fill in. The other app of your Zap needs its own connection.
05Why are old quiz results missing from the sheet?
Because a Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Completions collected before you published the Zap are never sent, and Zapier does not go back to fetch them. Moving that history is a separate job. To check the chain, rely on the trigger test: it brings back the three most recent completions of the connected account, so you map on a real one. Every completion that arrives after publishing then goes through the Zap. Zapier does no catch-up on its own.
06What if the Meiro operation you want is not there?
Then the Zap cannot do it in Meiro today. The integration has a single trigger, New Completion, and no action or search, so a Zap can read completions but cannot create a quiz, change a result or look one up. Whatever comes next happens in the other app of your Zap. Meiro's app page on Zapier shows the current list of operations, so check it there before planning around a gap.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Meiro?
Choose by criteria, not by name. On Zapier, New Completion is instant and a Zap with one action fits the free plan, which suits a simple results sheet. If every completion has to go to several tools, the multi-step limit and the per-action billing weigh more, so compare how each tool counts a run. Also check whether each tool actually offers a Meiro integration and which events it exposes. New Completion is the only event Meiro exposes on Zapier.
