Overview

What the LeadKlozer Zapier integration does

LeadKlozer is an ad performance, conversation and sales tool built for marketers who advertise on Facebook. Zapier links it to your other apps without code: when something changes in LeadKlozer, Zapier runs your steps, and it can also write contacts back into LeadKlozer.

Three results justify the setup. First, ad leads that reach a human: New Lead picks up each completed Facebook lead form, and the next step notifies your team or adds the person to your CRM. Second, pipeline moves that ripple outward: Products, Stages, Tags Added fires when a contact gets a new product, stage or tag, so a mailing list or a sheet can follow. Third, one contact record, not three: Contact Search checks whether the person already exists, and Create or Update Contact updates the record when you pass its contact ID instead of creating a duplicate.

Worth knowing before you start: all three triggers are polling triggers. On the free plan, Zapier checks LeadKlozer every 15 minutes, so a lead can wait that long before your team hears about it.

What Zapier does not do with LeadKlozer: no instant trigger, no delete action, and nothing that existed before you publish the Zap is picked up.

Vocabulary

Zapier words you will meet here

Seven terms are enough to read the rest.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier watches for that event.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or updates something for you.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Plans are counted in tasks.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is pushed by the app the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that finds something already stored in an app, so the steps after it can reuse what it found.
Cost

What it costs in practice

LeadKlozer is not a premium app, so it runs from the free Zapier plan. Triggers are free; actions are what you pay for.

  • Trigger cost0 tasks
  • Free plan100 tasks per month
  • Free plan Zap size2 steps
  • Premium appNo

Zapier checking LeadKlozer costs nothing, however often it looks. Each action that succeeds counts as one task, and a failed one does not count. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps, one trigger and one action. Contact Search is a step of its own: add it, or a filter, or a second action, and the Zap becomes multi-step, which requires a paid plan. Because the three LeadKlozer triggers are polling triggers, the plan also sets how fast they react.

Connect

Connect LeadKlozer to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your LeadKlozer account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that uses LeadKlozer.

  2. 02

    Choose LeadKlozer

Search for LeadKlozer in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the LeadKlozer side so you can sign in with your own account, not a shared one.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to LeadKlozer in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. You need a LeadKlozer account, plus read or write access to any contact you do not own and want the Zap to handle.

First Zap

Your first LeadKlozer Zap

GoalEach completed Facebook lead form lands as a row in your lead tracking sheet.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Click Create in Zapier, choose LeadKlozer as the trigger app and New Lead as the event, then select your LeadKlozer connection.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real form entry.

  3. 03

    Add a filter if needed

Optional: add a Filter from the plus icon and set the field, the rule and the value. A filter makes the Zap multi-step, so this version needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the spreadsheet step

Add your spreadsheet app with its create-row action and map the lead's details into the columns. Test the step and read what came back before going further.

  5. 05

    Publish

Click Publish. From then on, Zapier checks for new leads at your plan's interval. Leads completed before publishing stay in LeadKlozer.

Triggers

LeadKlozer triggers

3 events start a Zap when something happens in LeadKlozer. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

Products, Stages, Tags Added

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a contact gets a new Product, Stage or Tag.”

Starts the Zap when a contact in LeadKlozer receives a new product, stage or tag. It turns the way you sort contacts inside LeadKlozer into a signal other tools can act on.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
a contact moves to a closing stage and should join a follow-up sequence in your email tool.
Watch out
one event covers three kinds of change, so add a filter if only one of them matters; that needs a paid plan.
2

Contact Info Updated

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new contact info is added or updated. This trigger returns all contact info.”

Fires when contact information is added or updated in LeadKlozer, and hands Zapier all of that contact's info at once rather than only the piece that changed.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
a lead shares a phone number in conversation and your CRM copy should get it too.
Watch out
if a Zap writes back with Create or Update Contact, it can set this trigger off again and loop.
3

New Lead

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead form from Facebook is completed by a contact.”

Picks up each Facebook lead form that a contact completes, so the people your ads bring in reach your team and tools without anyone exporting a file.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
a campaign collects quote requests and each one should be logged in a shared sheet.
Watch out
on the free plan a lead can wait for the next check, so speed-sensitive follow-up may call for a paid plan.
Actions

LeadKlozer action

LeadKlozer gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create or Update Contact

Action

In Zapier“Create Contact. If a contact ID is provided. Then it will update the contact with the same name and Contact ID.”

Creates a contact in LeadKlozer, or updates an existing one when you pass its contact ID along with the name.

When to use it
leads from a website form should sit in LeadKlozer next to your ad leads.
Watch out
without a contact ID it creates a new record, so place Contact Search before it to fetch the ID first.
Searches

LeadKlozer search

1 search step looks for data that already exists in LeadKlozer, so a later step can use it.

A search finds a contact that already exists so the next step can reuse its ID. Searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list under SEARCH, and some fields offer + Add search step to insert one for you. Three settings decide what happens when results are not clean.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and the steps that depend on it are skipped. Switched on, the Zap continues empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
Ticking it turns Contact Search into a find-or-create: it stops offering the previous setting and asks for the fields needed to create the contact.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Keep the first match, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass all matches on together.
When it breaks

When a LeadKlozer Zap breaks

Zapier ties no help article to LeadKlozer and documents no rate limit specific to it. The failures you will meet are the general ones.

  • Earlier leads are never picked up

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Lead forms completed before that stay in LeadKlozer; moving them is a separate job.
  • Writing back can loop

Contact Info Updated plus Create or Update Contact on the same contacts sets the Zap off again and again, and burns through your tasks quickly.
  • Big batches can be held back

After a bulk import or a busy campaign, a trigger can return a huge batch at once, and Zapier's flood protection may then hold those runs back.
  • Duplicates are filtered, not missed

Zapier remembers what each polling trigger already saw, so the same lead does not start the Zap twice. A lead that seems missing is usually waiting for the next check.

FAQ

LeadKlozer Zapier integration: your questions

01Is the LeadKlozer Zapier integration free?
Yes. LeadKlozer is not a premium app, so it runs on the free Zapier plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. Each free Zap is limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. Sending new leads to a sheet fits. Adding Contact Search, a filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, and that requires a paid plan. The free plan also checks the triggers only every 15 minutes.
02How many tasks does a LeadKlozer Zap use?
The trigger never costs a task, and neither do Zapier's regular checks on LeadKlozer. Each action that succeeds counts once: a Zap that logs every new lead in a sheet uses one task per lead, and adding a second action doubles that. Failed actions are not counted. The free plan stops at 100 tasks a month. Estimate your monthly lead volume before choosing a plan, especially during heavy campaigns, and keep some margin.
03Are LeadKlozer triggers real time?
No. All three LeadKlozer triggers are polling triggers: Zapier asks LeadKlozer for new items at a fixed interval. That interval depends on the plan: 15 minutes on Free, 2 minutes on Professional, 1 minute on Team and Enterprise. On paid plans you can also run a check by hand from the editor. If your team must call a Facebook lead within minutes, the plan you pick matters as much as the Zap itself.
04What does it take to connect LeadKlozer to Zapier?
A LeadKlozer account you can sign in to, plus read or write access to any contact you do not own and want the Zap to handle. You start from the Apps page in Zapier with + Add connection, pick LeadKlozer, sign in in the tab that opens and grant access. Then test a trigger: Zapier brings back the three most recent items so you can check the connection works on real data.
05Why does LeadKlozer create duplicate contacts?
Because Create or Update Contact only updates when it receives a contact ID. Without one, it creates a new record every time. Place Contact Search before it to find the existing contact and pass its ID to the action, or tick the create option on the search to use the Create Contact variant. Either way the Zap becomes multi-step, so it needs a paid plan. Test once with a known contact to confirm the update path works.
06What if the LeadKlozer operation you want is missing?
Start with Contact Search: combined with Create or Update Contact, it covers most contact housekeeping. Beyond that, the integration has no delete action and no instant trigger, and no setting adds them. If a need falls outside the three triggers, the action and the search, keep it inside LeadKlozer, or compare what other automation platforms offer for LeadKlozer before building a workaround. Checking the integration page from time to time shows any change.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for LeadKlozer?
Decide on criteria, not on a winner. Zapier gives a ready-made LeadKlozer connector, but its triggers are polling, so reaction speed depends on your plan. For Make or n8n, first check whether a native LeadKlozer connector exists. Lead volume, required speed, budget and who maintains the flows should drive the choice. A flow that only logs leads is a lighter test than one that searches and updates contacts. Neither choice is wrong in general.
