leadPops Zapier integrationAutomate leadPops with Zapier.
The leadPops Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers, 0 actions and 0 searches. Two doors out, both instant: a lead from a leadPops form, or a lead from an Ignite campaign, sent to another tool the moment it arrives, from the free plan up.

What the leadPops Zapier integration actually does
leadPops builds lead generation tools for mortgage, real estate and insurance professionals. On Zapier it plays one role: it reports each new lead the moment it comes in, from your leadPops forms or from your Ignite campaigns, and Zapier runs the steps you placed behind it. leadPops is the starting point; everything after happens in other apps.
Three results you can build from those two triggers:
A live lead sheet. With New Lead, every form submission from a chosen folder becomes a row in your spreadsheet, so a loan officer or an agent sees the list grow without exporting it.
A separate channel for campaign leads. With Ignite Lead, the leads of one vertical and sub-vertical go to their own destination, apart from your form leads, because each trigger is set on its own scope.
A sorted flow. Put a filter right after either trigger and only the leads whose field matches the value you choose go on. That version needs a paid plan, details below.
Now what the Zapier app page does not tell you. There is no action, so a Zap cannot create, edit or delete anything inside leadPops. There is no search, so it cannot look up a lead you already have. And both triggers only see leads that arrive after the Zap is switched on. If you are still choosing a tool, see our n8n vs Zapier comparison and our Zapier review.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words you will meet in the editor. The rest of the page uses each one exactly as defined here.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Here, a new leadPops lead.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
- Instant vs polling trigger
- An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens. A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer instead.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your leadPops account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that uses leadPops.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a leadPops Zap costs you
leadPops is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. Neither trigger ever costs a task: you pay for what happens after the lead arrives.
- TriggersFree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
Each action that goes through counts as one task, and a failed action is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times more than a Zap with one. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes it multi-step, and that needs a paid plan. The polling grid below does not apply here: both leadPops triggers are instant and fire right away on every plan.
Connect leadPops to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. Type leadPops in the search box of the dialog that opens, then pick it from the list.
- 02
Sign in to leadPops
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on leadPops: sign in with the account that holds your forms and your Ignite campaigns. You need an account on the app for this step.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then shows on your Apps page, and every Zap that starts with leadPops reuses it, so you go through this only once.
Your first leadPops Zap
GoalEvery new leadPops form lead becomes a row in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap, choose leadPops as the app that starts it and New Lead as the event. Select your connection, then the folder in Folder List.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of that folder so you can pick a real one and map its fields in the next steps.
- 03
Add a filter if needed
Optional. From the plus icon, add a Filter and fill in the field to look at, the rule and the value. The Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the action
Choose your spreadsheet app and the step that adds a row, then map each column to a field of the sample lead. Test that step and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From that moment, every lead submitted to the folder goes through. Earlier leads are not sent.
The two leadPops triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in leadPops, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is submitted from leadpops forms.”
Starts your Zap as soon as someone submits one of your leadPops forms, and hands that lead to the steps that follow. You point it at one folder, so a Zap only sees the forms stored there.
Ignite Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead received from Ignite Campaigns.”
Fires on every new lead that one of your Ignite campaigns brings in, separately from your forms. Each Zap covers the vertical and sub-vertical you set on it, which keeps campaign leads apart from the rest.
When a leadPops Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article and no app-specific limit to leadPops. What goes wrong comes from the way Zapier itself works.
Four situations explain most surprises with an app that only sends leads out. None of them shows an error: the Zap simply does less than you expected. If a Zap still misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Your existing leads never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads already stored in leadPops stay there; moving them is a separate job.A sudden batch gets held back
When a trigger returns a huge batch at once, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running every item. The filter never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. The wrong type is why a filter never lets anything through. The Zap outgrows the free plan
On the free plan a Zap stops at one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action turns it into a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.
