LeadsHook Zapier integrationAutomate LeadsHook with Zapier.
The LeadsHook Zapier integration offers 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. That trigger, New Lead, hands every lead captured by LeadsHook to another app. Zapier checks for it on a timer, so how fast leads move depends on your plan.

What the LeadsHook Zapier integration is for
LeadsHook builds personalized marketing, such as lead magnets and sales letters, that adapts to each visitor's answers. The people who go through it become leads. The Zapier integration takes each new lead out of LeadsHook and sends it to another app, so you never export a list by hand.
With only New Lead to work with, three results come up. A lead sheet that keeps itself current: every new LeadsHook lead becomes a row your team can sort and annotate. A contact base that does not lag behind: each lead lands in the tool where you store contacts, without an import by hand. A cleaner hand-off: add a filter, and only the leads that meet your rule go on to the next app.
Here is what Zapier does not do for LeadsHook. There is no action and no search, so a Zap cannot create anything in LeadsHook, change a lead or look one up. And New Lead is a polling trigger: Zapier asks LeadsHook for new leads at fixed intervals instead of being told the instant one arrives. On the free plan, that means a lead can wait up to 15 minutes before your Zap runs.
If that delay or the lack of actions is a deal-breaker, our n8n vs Zapier comparison and the list of Zapier alternatives lay out the other options.
Zapier words in one minute
The page leans on a few Zapier terms. Each one in a single plain sentence.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap. For LeadsHook there is exactly one: New Lead, fired by each lead the app records.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts, such as adding a row or a contact. LeadsHook has none, so your actions live in other apps.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's monthly allowance is counted in tasks.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, keeping only what it has not seen before. New Lead works this way.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself the moment the event happens. Not the case for LeadsHook, whose only trigger polls.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LeadsHook account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and Zap that uses LeadsHook.
What a LeadsHook Zap costs and how fast it runs
Checking LeadsHook for new leads costs nothing, however often Zapier looks. You pay a task only when an action in another app succeeds.
- New Lead trigger0 tasks
- Each successful action1 task
- Failed actionNot counted
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: New Lead plus one action. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. LeadsHook is not a premium app. Since New Lead is a polling trigger, your plan also sets the delay: Zapier checks every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 on Professional, every minute on Team and Enterprise. Paid plans can also run a check by hand from the editor.
Connect LeadsHook to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a LeadsHook account, plus access to anything you do not own yourself but want the Zap to read.
- 02
Select LeadsHook
Type LeadsHook in the search box of the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the LeadsHook side, where you sign in to the account you want to use.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to LeadsHook in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then shows on your Apps page, and every New Lead step you set up later picks it from the list.
Your first LeadsHook Zap
GoalAdd each new LeadsHook lead that meets your rule as a row in a sheet your team already uses.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick New Lead
Start a new Zap, choose LeadsHook as the app and New Lead as the event. Select the LeadsHook connection you added in the section above.
- 02
Test with real leads
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads in the account. Pick one, so every field you use later comes from a real lead rather than an empty sample.
- 03
Add a filter
Click the plus icon and choose Filter. Fill the three boxes: a field of the lead, the rule, the value to compare with. This step makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the sheet action
Add your spreadsheet app and its new-row action. Choose the sheet, then map each lead field from the test into the right column, so the row reads clearly.
- 05
Test and publish
Run each step once and open the sheet to check the row. When it looks right, click Publish. New leads then arrive on each check, every 2 minutes on Professional.
The LeadsHook trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in LeadsHook. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Lead
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is added.”
Each person who completes a LeadsHook experience and becomes a lead shows up here. Zapier collects those new leads and hands them to whatever step comes next, whether a sheet, a contact base or an email tool, with the data LeadsHook recorded.
When a LeadsHook Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to LeadsHook and publishes no limit specific to the app. The failures below come from Zapier's own rules.
Most surprises with this integration come from the polling trigger and from the free plan's limits. If a Zap still misbehaves after these checks, our Zapier troubleshooting page goes step by step.
Leads arrive late
New Lead is checked on a timer. On the free plan Zapier looks every 15 minutes, so a lead can wait that long before the Zap runs.Older leads never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads captured before publishing are not picked up; moving them is a separate job.A big batch gets held back
If LeadsHook suddenly returns a huge number of leads at once, after a bulk import for example, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back. The filter blocks everything
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. The wrong type means the filter never passes.
