Linksun Zapier integrationAutomate Linksun with Zapier.
The Linksun Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 1 action and 0 searches. That covers both directions for contacts: new ones leave Linksun for your other tools, and leads from elsewhere land in it. It runs on the free plan, since Linksun is not a premium app.

What the Linksun Zapier integration does for you
The Linksun Zapier integration plugs Linksun, the CRM built to follow solar sales projects, into the rest of your apps through Zapier. A Zap (an automation on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens) watches for something, then does the follow-up work for you. With Linksun, that work is all about contacts.
A contact filed straight from a lead form. Someone fills in a form on your site, and Create Contact puts them in Linksun with their name and phone, so nobody on the team retypes the form. A contact list mirrored in a spreadsheet. New Contact V2 picks up each contact added in Linksun and lets the next step copy it into a sheet your whole team can read. A ping for whoever calls back. The same trigger can feed a message to a shared inbox, so a new prospect gets a call before the interest cools.
What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. The app has no search, so a Zap cannot look up a contact that already exists in Linksun. It cannot update or delete one either. Contacts go in, new contacts come out, and the solar projects themselves stay out of reach. Linksun has no dedicated n8n or Make page on this site yet; if those gaps are a dealbreaker, the n8n vs Zapier comparison is the next read.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it and nothing else.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something on your behalf.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task equals one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant one is reported by the app the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your app account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that touches that app.
What a Linksun Zap really costs
Good news first: Linksun is not a premium app, so the free plan is enough to start. From there, everything is counted in tasks, and the trigger never uses one.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps per Zap
- TriggerCosts nothing, however often Zapier checks
- Create ContactOne task per contact created successfully
- Premium appNo: works from the free plan
New Contact V2 never costs a task, however often Zapier checks Linksun. Each Create Contact that succeeds counts one task; a failed one counts nothing. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps only. Add a filter or a second action and you have a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Since New Contact V2 is a polling trigger, the grid below sets how long a new contact waits before Zapier sees it.
Connect your Linksun account in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a Linksun account first, plus access to any data you do not own and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Linksun
Type Linksun in the search box of the dialog, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Linksun side for the sign-in.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Linksun in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection (your account linked once) is then offered in every Zap step that uses Linksun.
Your first Zap: new Linksun contacts into your mailing list
GoalEvery new contact in Linksun lands in your mailing tool, but only when it passes the rule you set in a filter.
- 01
Set the trigger
Create a new Zap, pick Linksun and New Contact V2, fill in the Name and Phone it asks for, then test it. Zapier brings back the three most recent contacts, so you map on a real one.
- 02
Add a filter
Click the plus icon, add a Filter, and set its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule, the value to compare. This makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 03
Add the mailing step
Pick your mailing tool as the action app and its add-subscriber event. Map the contact's name and the other details from the Linksun test result into its fields.
- 04
Test, then publish
Run the action once and check the new subscriber in your mailing tool. If it looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on for every new Linksun contact.
The Linksun trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Linksun. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

This one starts your Zap whenever a contact shows up in Linksun, then passes that contact's details to every step after it.
The Linksun action
Linksun gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

When a Linksun Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Linksun, so the cases below are the general limits that hit any Zap built on it.
None of them shows up as an error on day one. They show up as a contact that never arrived, or a task counter that climbs too fast. When a run looks wrong, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the place to start.
Old contacts stay where they are
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already in Linksun are never picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that feeds itself
Pair New Contact V2 with Create Contact in the same Zap and each new contact starts the Zap again, which burns through your tasks fast.A bulk import gets held back
If a huge batch of contacts appears at once after an import, Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch back instead of running every one.No double runs on one contact
Zapier remembers which contacts the polling trigger has already seen, so the same contact does not start the Zap twice.
