What the Luxury Prospect Zapier integration is for
Luxury Prospect is a lead generation platform that puts real estate agents in touch with people buying or selling a home in the United States. Zapier links apps through a Zap: an automation that starts on one event, then runs one or more steps every time that event happens. Here the event is simple: a new lead is delivered.
Everything rests on New Lead. That sounds thin, yet it covers the moment that matters most: a buyer or a seller who just showed interest. Three results come out of it.
A contact that is already filed. The lead goes straight into your CRM, so you work from one list instead of two inboxes. A reply that starts on time. The same lead can trigger an email from your email tool, written once and sent each time. A record you can read later. A row in a spreadsheet keeps every delivered lead, handy when you want to see where your contacts come from.
Now, what Zapier cannot do here. Nothing goes back into Luxury Prospect: there is no action, so no Zap updates a lead, marks it as handled or adds a comment. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot look up a lead delivered earlier. Data flows out, never in. If you need the other direction, that is a limit of the integration, not a mistake in your setup.

Zapier vocabulary, in one minute
Seven words come back on this page. Each one, once, in plain English.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. With the Zap switched on, Zapier waits for it and does nothing until it happens.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- What Zapier bills you for: one action that completed successfully. The quota on your plan is counted in tasks.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for anything new and keeping only what it has not seen yet.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports on its own, calling Zapier the moment the event happens. Luxury Prospect works this way.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Luxury Prospect account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that starts from it.
What it actually costs
The trigger costs nothing. Zapier never bills for listening to Luxury Prospect, no matter how many leads arrive. Only the actions your Zap completes in other apps count.
- TriggerFree, never counted as a task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps per Zap
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
Each successful action counts once, so a Zap with three actions uses three times as much as a Zap with one, and a failed action is not counted. Luxury Prospect is not a premium app: it runs on the free plan, which allows Zaps of two steps, the trigger plus one action. A filter, a search or a second action turns it into a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only concerns polling triggers; it does not apply to the instant Luxury Prospect trigger.
Connect Luxury Prospect to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Start from the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. Search Luxury Prospect in the dialog and select it. You need an existing Luxury Prospect account for what follows.
- 02
Sign in to Luxury Prospect
Click Add connection. A tab opens on Luxury Prospect: sign in with the account that receives the leads. If some leads go to a colleague's account, check that yours is allowed to read them.
- 03
Approve and return
Grant Zapier the access it asks for. The tab closes and the connection appears in your Apps list, ready for every Zap that starts on Luxury Prospect, with no new sign-in each time.
Your first Zap: every new lead in your CRM
GoalWhen Luxury Prospect delivers a lead, create the matching contact in your CRM so it enters your usual follow-up.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick the trigger
Start a new Zap, search Luxury Prospect, choose
New Leadand select the connection you just made. It is the only trigger the app offers. - 02
Test it on a real lead
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from your account, so you map fields on an actual lead rather than on an empty template.
- 03
Add the CRM step
Add a step, choose your CRM and its create-contact action, then drop each value from the lead into the matching field of the contact, so nothing has to be completed by hand later.
- 04
Add the email step
Add a second action with your email tool to send a first message. With two actions, the Zap becomes multi-step, so this part needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step and read what came back. When the contact and the email look right, click Publish: the Zap is on and waits for the next lead.
The Luxury Prospect trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Luxury Prospect, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a New Lead is delivered.”
Fires each time Luxury Prospect delivers a new lead to your account, whether it is someone looking to buy or someone ready to sell. The lead details come with it, ready to reuse in the next steps.
When it breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Luxury Prospect and records no limit of its own for the app. What goes wrong comes from how Zapier behaves in general.
Four situations catch people out, mostly because none of them looks like an obvious error. If a Zap still misbehaves after that, our Zapier troubleshooting page takes over.
Earlier leads never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads delivered before that are not picked up, and bringing them over is a separate job.A big batch is held back
When a trigger suddenly sends a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the run back instead of firing for each lead. The second step will not publish
A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step. On the free plan, only the trigger plus one action can be published. No loop from this app
A Zap that writes where its own trigger watches keeps restarting. Zapier cannot write into Luxury Prospect, so that loop cannot start here.
