Mastermind Zapier integrationAutomate Mastermind with Zapier.
The Mastermind Zapier integration has 2 triggers, 0 actions and 0 searches. One watches your sales, the other your opt-in forms. Both are polling triggers, so Zapier checks Mastermind on a timer and carries what is new into your other tools.

What the Mastermind Zapier integration is for
Mastermind is a platform where creators build, host and sell online courses. On Zapier it exposes two events: a sale of one of your masterminds, and a new submission on one of your opt-in forms. Zapier picks those up and hands them to another app. Nothing flows the other way.
Two results you can build. A sales log that fills itself: Sold Mastermind adds each sale to a spreadsheet, so you can follow revenue per program without exporting anything. A lead list that stays current: Opt in Submission passes every new sign-up to your email tool, where the follow-up sequence lives. A third, lighter one: the same sale trigger posting a short note in your team chat, so a new buyer never goes unnoticed.
What Zapier does not do for Mastermind is just as clear. There is no action and no search. A Zap cannot create a course, add a student, grant access or look up a buyer inside Mastermind. If your plan depends on writing into the platform, Zapier does not cover that part.
Both triggers are polling triggers, which shapes everything else on this page: on the free plan, a sale or a sign-up reaches your other tool at the next check, every 15 minutes. If you are still deciding between automation tools, open our Make vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier words, in plain English
Eight terms you will meet below, each in one line.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Mastermind has two.
- Action
- The step that writes, sends or moves something for you after the Zap starts. With Mastermind, it always lives in another app.
- Task
- What Zapier bills: one action the Zap completes successfully. Your plan's monthly count is a count of these.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only the ones it has not seen.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens. Mastermind has none of these on Zapier.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a Mastermind Zap costs
Mastermind is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. Checking for new sales or sign-ups costs nothing, however often Zapier looks: only an action that succeeds in your other tool counts as a task.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps each
- Premium appNo
- Mastermind triggers2, both polling
- Checking for new itemsFree, only successful actions are billed
One sale logged in a spreadsheet is one task; an action that fails is not counted. Two things decide your bill. The plan's interval sets how fast a sale reaches your other tool, from 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise. And the two-step ceiling: a filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. A few apps and actions take more than one task, so read the count after your first test runs.
Connect Mastermind to Zapier
- 01
Start from the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. Have your Mastermind login ready, and access to any program or form you do not own yourself.
- 02
Find Mastermind
Search for Mastermind in the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Mastermind side so you can finish the link.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Mastermind in that tab and let Zapier reach the account. The connection is saved once and offered again in every Zap that starts from one of the two Mastermind triggers.
Your first Zap: new opt-ins into your email tool
GoalEach time someone submits one of your Mastermind opt-in forms, check one condition, then add that person to your email list.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, choose Mastermind as the app that starts it and Opt in Submission as the event, then select your Mastermind connection.
- 02
Pick the opt-in
Choose which opt-in the Zap should watch in the required Opt In field. If nothing shows up, check in Mastermind that the form exists.
- 03
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent submissions so you map the next steps on a real one. Check at the test which details actually come through.
- 04
Add a filter, then the action
From the plus icon, add a Filter with a field, a rule and a value, then your email tool's add-a-subscriber action. The filter makes it multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test and publish
Run each step once and read the result. When the subscriber looks right, click Publish. New submissions then reach your list at each check, every 15 minutes on Free.
The 2 Mastermind triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Mastermind. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
Sold Mastermind
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a mastermind is sold.”
Starts the Zap when one of your masterminds is sold, which makes it the trigger for anything that should follow a purchase on the platform.
Opt in Submission
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new Opt in Submission created.”
Picks up each new submission on one of your Mastermind opt-in forms, the moment a new contact leaves their details.
When it breaks
Zapier links no help article to Mastermind and documents no app-specific error. The trouble comes from how Zapier works.
Four cases to know with two polling triggers and no actions. For a run that fails without an obvious reason, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Past sales are not picked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Sales and opt-ins from before stay out; moving that backlog is a separate job.The sale shows up later than expected
Both triggers are polled. On the free plan Zapier checks every 15 minutes, so a sale reaches your other tool at the next check, not the moment it happens.A big import gets held back
If a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.A loop eats your tasks
As a general precaution: a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn tasks fast.
