Overview

What the MEETOVO Zapier integration actually does

The MEETOVO Zapier integration picks up the requests people submit through your MEETOVO funnels and hands each one to another app. There is one trigger, New Request, and no action or search. MEETOVO is where the Zap starts; the follow-up happens in the tools you connect after it.

A spreadsheet of every request. New Request followed by a spreadsheet step adds one row per submission, a list the whole team can read without a MEETOVO login.

A message when a request lands. The same trigger can post each request to a team channel, so whoever handles it sees it at the next check.

Requests that open a follow-up. Send each request to a task manager, where it becomes a to-do the team can pick up and close.

What Zapier does not do for MEETOVO: it cannot create, edit or delete anything in MEETOVO, since there is no action. It cannot look up an older request, since there is no search. And because New Request is a polling trigger, requests are collected at your plan's interval, every 15 minutes on the free plan, not the instant they are submitted. Zapier does keep track of what it has seen, so a request never starts the Zap twice.

Vocabulary

Zapier words, in plain English

Seven terms come back on this page. Here is each one in a sentence.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event occurs.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap, here a new request in a MEETOVO funnel. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in another app here.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is counted in those.
Polling vs instant
Polling: Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant: the app calls Zapier itself. New Request is a polling trigger.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a MEETOVO Zap really costs

Checking MEETOVO for new requests costs nothing, however often Zapier looks. You pay for each action that works: one completed action, one task.

  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited two-step Zaps
  • Premium appNo, MEETOVO works on the free plan
  • MEETOVO trigger1, polling

A failed action is not counted, and a Zap with three actions spends three tasks per run. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps, and checks polling triggers every 15 minutes. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. MEETOVO is not a premium app. The grid below is the interval at which Zapier checks New Request, by plan.

Connect

Connect MEETOVO to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

Open Apps and add a connection

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a MEETOVO account, plus access to the funnels you do not own yourself but want the Zap to read.

  2. 02

    Pick MEETOVO

Type MEETOVO in the search box of the dialog and select it from the results. Then click Add connection: a new browser tab opens on the MEETOVO sign-in page.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to MEETOVO in that tab, then grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is stored once, and every Zap that starts from MEETOVO reuses it.

First Zap

Your first MEETOVO Zap: funnel requests into a spreadsheet

GoalEach new MEETOVO request that passes your condition adds a row to your spreadsheet, with the details the trigger carries.

  1. 01

Create the Zap and pick the trigger

Create a new Zap, choose MEETOVO as the app that starts it and New Request as the event. Select your MEETOVO connection, or add it as described above.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent requests of the connected account, so you map on a real submission and see what it carries.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

Click the plus icon, add Filter, and fill the three boxes: field, rule, value. A number rule only works on numbers. The Zap is now multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the spreadsheet step

Add your spreadsheet as the action and map the request details into the columns. Use only the details you saw in the trigger test, not ones you expect.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Run each step once and read what came back. When the row looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. Requests from before are not picked up.

Triggers

The MEETOVO trigger on Zapier

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in MEETOVO. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

New Request

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when someone submits a request.”

Starts a Zap each time someone submits a request through a MEETOVO funnel. The next step receives that request, with the details the trigger test shows.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
requests or applications from a funnel have to reach the people or tools that handle them, a spreadsheet, a team channel or a task list, without manual copying.
Watch out
on the free plan, a request can wait up to the 15-minute interval before the Zap sees it. If speed matters, a paid plan shortens the check.
When it breaks

When a MEETOVO Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to MEETOVO and the source lists no limit specific to it. What breaks comes from how Zapier works in general, and from New Request being a polling trigger.

  • Earlier requests are not picked up

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Requests submitted before that stay in MEETOVO, and moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • Requests arrive at the check

New Request is polling: Zapier checks at your plan's interval, every 15 minutes on the free one, and handles everything new since the last check.
  • No duplicate runs

On a polling trigger, Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen, so the same request does not start the Zap twice.
  • A sudden flood

When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold that batch back.

FAQ

MEETOVO and Zapier: common questions

01Is the MEETOVO Zapier integration free?
Yes. MEETOVO is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. New Request followed by a spreadsheet row fits exactly. A filter or a second action turns the Zap multi-step, and multi-step Zaps need a paid plan. The free plan also checks New Request every 15 minutes only. No prices appear here, because plan grids change too often to stay accurate.
02How many tasks does a MEETOVO Zap use?
One per successful action, per request. Checking MEETOVO for new requests is free, however often Zapier looks, and the trigger itself never costs a task. So a Zap that logs each request in a spreadsheet spends one task per request. Add a team message after it and each request costs two. An action that fails is not counted. With 100 tasks a month on the free plan, the number of requests your funnels receive is what decides whether that plan is enough.
03Does the MEETOVO trigger fire in real time?
No. New Request is a polling trigger: Zapier asks MEETOVO for new requests at a fixed interval and keeps only the ones it has not seen. The interval depends on the plan: 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. On paid plans the frequency can be changed, and a check can be run by hand from the editor. The type is set by the app and cannot be switched to instant in the editor.
04What does connecting MEETOVO to Zapier require?
A MEETOVO account, plus read or write access to the funnels you do not own yourself and want the Zap to read. On Zapier, open the Apps page, click + Add connection, search for MEETOVO, click Add connection, sign in on the tab that opens and grant access. The connection is saved once and reused by every Zap that starts from MEETOVO. No other prerequisite is listed for this app, and New Request has no required setting.
05Why did a MEETOVO request take a while to reach the spreadsheet?
Because New Request is a polling trigger. Zapier does not receive each request when it is submitted; it checks MEETOVO at your plan's interval, every 15 minutes on the free plan, and then handles everything new since the last check. A request submitted just after a check waits for the next one. A paid plan brings the interval down to 2 minutes or 1 minute, and a check can also be run by hand from the editor while you test.
06What if the MEETOVO operation you need is missing?
Then the integration cannot do it. Zapier offers one MEETOVO operation: New Request. Nothing creates or edits a funnel, and nothing reads past requests. One route is to keep MEETOVO as the source and let the next app in the Zap do the rest of the work. Another is to check whether a different automation tool lists the operation you are after. Either way, test with a real request before you rely on any field.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for MEETOVO?
Compare on criteria. Timing: on Zapier, New Request is polling, so requests arrive at your plan's interval, 15 minutes on Free. Billing: Zapier counts one task per successful action, so request volume drives the cost. Plan limits: the free plan stops at two steps. Coverage: one trigger, no action and no search. Make and n8n publish their own lists and their own way of checking for new data; those are the points to put side by side.
