What the NeetoCRM Zapier integration actually does
NeetoCRM is an online CRM that keeps your sales, marketing and support work in one place. Connecting it to Zapier lets NeetoCRM tell Zapier each time a lead or a deal is created, so Zapier can carry it into another tool your team uses. NeetoCRM always opens the Zap; it is never where the Zap writes.
Three results people build. Leads that get noticed: New Lead posts each new lead in your team chat, so someone follows up while the contact is still warm. A mailing list that keeps up: the same New Lead trigger can add the person as a contact in your email tool. A shared view of open deals: New Deal adds a row per deal to a spreadsheet that people who never open the CRM can read.
What Zapier does not do here matters as much. NeetoCRM offers no action and no search on Zapier: a Zap cannot create a lead, update a deal or move it through your pipeline, and it cannot look a record up. Leads coming from a web form or an ad platform will not reach NeetoCRM through this integration.
On timing, both triggers are instant, so the interval tied to each plan never slows them down and the free plan covers a two-step Zap. If you are still choosing a tool, see our Zapier review or our Make vs Zapier comparison.
Zapier words, in one minute
Eight words come back throughout this page. Here is what each one means in everyday English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, here a new lead or a new deal in NeetoCRM. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it to happen.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app you have connected.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action the Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan is counted in those tasks.
- Instant vs polling
- An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens. A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops that run otherwise.
- Connection
- Your NeetoCRM account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that needs to hear from NeetoCRM.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search turns it into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a NeetoCRM Zap really costs
NeetoCRM is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The trigger never costs a task: only an action that goes through is billed.
- TriggerFree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
A lead that runs a Zap with two actions costs two tasks, and an action that fails is not counted against your plan. A few apps and a few actions take more than one task when they complete, so check the count after the first runs. The free plan builds two-step Zaps only: adding a filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step and calls for a paid plan. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers: it does not apply to the two instant NeetoCRM triggers.
Connect NeetoCRM to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open Apps and add a connection
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. Type NeetoCRM in the search box of the dialog that opens, then pick it from the results.
- 02
Sign in to NeetoCRM
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on NeetoCRM: sign in there with the account whose leads and deals the Zap should follow. That account is the one the connection will use for every NeetoCRM step afterwards.
- 03
Grant Zapier access
Approve the access request. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is then reused by every NeetoCRM step.
Your first Zap: share every new deal with the team
GoalEach new NeetoCRM deal adds a row to a shared spreadsheet and posts a short message in your team chat.
- 01
Start with the trigger
Create a Zap, choose NeetoCRM as the app and
New Dealas the event, then pick the NeetoCRM connection you added earlier. - 02
Test it on real deals
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent deals of the connected account, so you map fields on a real record rather than guessing.
- 03
Add the spreadsheet row
Add an action in your spreadsheet tool and place what the test returned into the columns. Check at the test which deal details NeetoCRM actually sends.
- 04
Add the chat message
Add a second action that posts in your team chat. A second action turns this into a multi-step Zap, so this step needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once and read what came back. When everything looks right, publish the Zap to switch it on. Only deals created from then on will run it.
NeetoCRM triggers on Zapier
2 events start a Zap when something happens in NeetoCRM, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Deal
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new deal is created.”
Each deal created in NeetoCRM starts the Zap through this trigger. It lets people who never open the CRM see what is in play, and gives you a record of every opportunity as it appears.
New Lead
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is created.”
A lead created in NeetoCRM starts the Zap through this trigger. It is the one to wire first if the goal is speed: the person behind the lead reaches the rest of your tools without anyone copying details by hand.
When a NeetoCRM Zap goes wrong
No help article is attached to NeetoCRM on Zapier, and no NeetoCRM-specific limit is documented there. What can go wrong comes from Zapier itself.
These four cases apply to any NeetoCRM Zap. If a run fails anyway, open our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Old leads are not replayed
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads and deals that already existed stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your task count fast.Bulk imports can be held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.A filter that never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Picking the wrong type is why a filter never lets anything through.
