NetBase Quid Zapier integrationAutomate NetBase Quid with Zapier.
The NetBase Quid Zapier integration comes down to 1 trigger and 1 action, with no search step. New posts matching a topic start your Zap; Create Post writes one back. Below: how often Zapier checks, the cost, the connection, a first Zap and what breaks.

What the NetBase Quid Zapier integration does for you
The NetBase Quid Zapier integration connects your consumer and market intelligence platform to the tools your team works in. New posts found for a topic you follow in NetBase Quid can travel on to a chat, a table or a task list, and a Zap can also add a post to NetBase Quid from another app.
A topic feed where people already talk. New Post followed by a message step puts each post found on a topic in front of the team, without anyone opening NetBase Quid to look.
A running archive of posts. The same trigger with a spreadsheet step keeps one row per post, so you build a history you can sort and share outside the platform.
Posts added from elsewhere. Create Post takes a text from another app and adds it to NetBase Quid. Text is the only field it requires; run the test to see where the new post lands in your account.
What Zapier does not do here: there are only two operations. No search step can look up an existing post or topic, nothing edits or removes a post, and New Post only covers one topic per Zap, the one you name. It works by polling, so posts reach the Zap on the next check of your plan, not the moment they appear. Zapier words in one minute
Seven terms come back on this page. Here they are, once, in plain words.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it, here a new post on a NetBase Quid topic.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like a chat message.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts those.
- Polling vs instant trigger
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer and keeps only what is new; an instant one is reported by the app. New Post is polling.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a NetBase Quid Zap really costs
NetBase Quid is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. Checking for new posts costs nothing, however often Zapier looks.
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Zaps on the free planUnlimited, two steps each
- Premium appNo
- NetBase Quid trigger1 polling
Only a completed action is billed, and each one counts on its own: a Zap with three actions uses three times what a one-action Zap does. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action; a filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step and needs a paid plan. New Post is a polling trigger, so the grid below applies to it directly: it sets how often Zapier checks the topic.
Connect NetBase Quid to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. You need a NetBase Quid account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Find NetBase Quid
Type NetBase Quid in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the NetBase Quid sign-in screen.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to NetBase Quid in that tab, then grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once and reused by every step of your Zaps that calls NetBase Quid.
Your first Zap: only the posts that matter, in your team chat
GoalWhen NetBase Quid finds a new post on your topic and it meets your filter condition, post it to your team chat.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, pick NetBase Quid as the app that starts it and New Post as the event, then choose your connection and type the Topic Name.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent posts on that topic, so the next steps are mapped on a real post rather than an empty sample.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon and add Filter. Set its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule and the value to compare with. A filter needs a paid plan.
- 04
Send the message
Add your team chat as the last step and map the post details shown at test into the message. Each message sent counts as one task.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step and read what came back. When the message looks right, click Publish. Posts found before that moment are not sent.
The NetBase Quid trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in NetBase Quid. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Post
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new post is found matching your NetBase query.”
Watches one topic of your NetBase Quid account and starts the Zap for each new post found that matches your query on it. It is the only way into NetBase Quid from Zapier, so every Zap on this page begins here.
The NetBase Quid action
NetBase Quid gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Post
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a post in NetBase Quid”
Adds a post to NetBase Quid with the text you write or map from an earlier step. Text is the one required field.
When a NetBase Quid Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article of its own to NetBase Quid. What goes wrong comes from Zapier's general rules.
The four cases below apply to a Zap built on New Post. For a step that stops on an error, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Older posts are not picked up
A Zap only reacts to posts found after you publish it. Posts already on the topic stay where they are; moving them elsewhere is a separate job.The same post only counts once
Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same post does not start the Zap twice.A Zap that sets itself off
A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again and burn through your tasks. Check where each step writes.A sudden flood of posts
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration for example, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back.
