NiftyKit Zapier integrationAutomate NiftyKit with Zapier.
NiftyKit Zapier integration: 1 trigger, 1 action, 0 searches. Zapier can notice each new NFT minted in your NiftyKit collection, and it can create a mint link for you from another app. That is the whole list. What each does, what it costs, and where it breaks.

What the NiftyKit Zapier integration is for
NiftyKit is a tool for creating and managing NFTs as a team, on blockchain contracts set up for you. Zapier, an automation tool, links it to your other apps: a Zap (the automation you build) waits for an event in one app, then does something in another. NiftyKit gives Zapier one event to watch and one thing to do.
A running list of mints. New NFT Mint hands each new mint in your collection to a spreadsheet, so the team reads one list without opening NiftyKit.
A heads-up for the team. The same trigger can post a message in your team chat, so a mint gets noticed where people already talk.
Mint links built from your own data. Create a Mint Link takes a name, a description, an image address and three limits from another app, for example a row in a sheet, and creates the link that lets someone mint the NFT.
What Zapier does not do here. There is no search, so a Zap cannot look up an NFT or a link that already exists. The only action creates a mint link; none edits or removes one. And the trigger works by polling, so it is not instant: the wait depends on your plan. Testing a step on real data is the only way to see what a mint carries.

Zapier words in one minute
Eight words carry the rest of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts a Zap, such as a new NFT minted in NiftyKit. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like creating a mint link.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan's count is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier asks the app for new items at a fixed interval. Instant: the app calls Zapier itself. The NiftyKit trigger is polling.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your NiftyKit account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step of every Zap that uses NiftyKit.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a NiftyKit Zap costs in tasks
NiftyKit is not a premium app, so its trigger and its action work on the free plan. Watching for new mints costs nothing, however often Zapier checks; only a completed action is billed.
- Trigger cost0 tasks
- Free plan100 tasks a month
- Zap size on Free2 steps
- Premium appNo
The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger, one action. A second action or a filter makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Each action that succeeds counts on its own, and one that fails is not counted. A few apps and actions take more than one task. The grid below is how often Zapier checks a polling trigger, such as New NFT Mint, on each plan.
Connect NiftyKit to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
Sign in to Zapier and open the Apps page of your account. Click + Add connection, type NiftyKit in the search box of the dialog, and pick it from the results.
- 02
Sign in to NiftyKit
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on NiftyKit: sign in there with your NiftyKit account, then return to Zapier. You only sign in once: Zapier then keeps the account linked for your Zaps.
- 03
Grant Zapier access
Grant Zapier access to the account. What you need beforehand: an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection is then reused by every NiftyKit step.
Your first Zap: selected mints into your team chat
GoalPost a message in your team chat for each new NiftyKit mint that passes your condition.
- 01
Start a new Zap
In Zapier, start a new Zap. This is the build phase: you pick the app and event that start it, then the apps that follow, and map the fields between steps.
- 02
Set New NFT Mint
Pick NiftyKit as the app and New NFT Mint as the event, then choose your connection. It is a polling trigger: Zapier will check NiftyKit at the interval of your plan.
- 03
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map fields from a real mint rather than a guess.
- 04
Add the filter
Add a Filter step from the plus icon and fill its three boxes: the field to look at, the rule and the value. A filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.
- 05
Add the chat message
Add the action of your team chat and place the mint fields in the text. Which fields NiftyKit sends, you see at the test, not before.
- 06
Test, then publish
Run each step once and read what came back. When the message looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each new mint runs it.
The NiftyKit trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in NiftyKit. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New NFT Mint
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new NFT is minted in the collection.”
New NFT Mint picks up each NFT minted in your NiftyKit collection and passes it to the next step of the Zap. It is the only NiftyKit event Zapier can react to.
The NiftyKit action
NiftyKit gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create a Mint Link
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a mint link from a collection that will allow the user to mint an NFT.”
Create a Mint Link produces, from your collection, a link that lets someone mint an NFT. Six fields are required: Name of the NFT, Description of the NFT, Image URL, Max Amount (how many can be minted), Max Per Wallet Address and Max Per Transaction.
When a NiftyKit Zap breaks
Zapier ties no help article to NiftyKit, so the cases below are the general limits of any Zap, applied to the NiftyKit trigger and action.
Each card names a limit and the move that avoids it. If a Zap still misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Earlier mints never come through
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Mints that already happened are not picked up; moving that history is a separate job.The same mint does not run twice
Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.A Zap that feeds itself
A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through your task count fast.A huge batch can be held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.
