Nogogo Zapier integrationAutomate Nogogo with Zapier.

The Nogogo Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 2 searches. Nogogo never starts a Zap on its own: another app hands it a SIREN, and Nogogo answers with a company profile, reliability signals or barometer figures.

Beta app Zapier still marks this integration as beta.

Overview

What the Nogogo Zapier integration actually does for you

Nogogo is a French data service built around public company records. Plugged into Zapier, it works as a lookup desk: you feed it a SIREN (the nine-digit French company number) from another app, and it sends back what it knows. It never watches anything by itself.

Three results you can build without code. First, a clean company card: Find Company turns a bare SIREN typed into a form or a sheet into the company's main public identity, ready to drop into your CRM. Second, a quick risk read: Find Company Signals pulls indicative reliability signals for that same SIREN, so a sales or finance team sees warning signs before a contract goes out. Third, a market pulse: Get Barometer fetches the latest aggregated barometer you pick, handy for a report sheet your team reads.

What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. Nogogo has no trigger at all, so nothing happens on the Nogogo side that could start a Zap. A new company in its data, a changed signal, a fresh barometer: none of it reaches you unless another app starts the run. Searching by company name is not on offer either, only by SIREN.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words you will meet in the editor. Each one is explained once here, then used as is.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Nogogo has none, so another app plays this part.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or fetches something for you, like Get Barometer.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of these.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is pushed by the app the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something that already exists, so later steps can use it. Both Nogogo company lookups are searches.
Connection
Your Nogogo account linked to Zapier a single time, then reused by every step of every Zap that calls Nogogo.
Cost

What Nogogo costs you in Zapier tasks

Nogogo is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. Zapier marks it as beta.

  • Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps, two steps max
  • Premium appNo, Nogogo works on the free plan
  • BilledEach successful action, never the trigger
  • Failed actionNot counted

The trigger never costs a task, and neither do the checks Zapier runs looking for new data. Each action that succeeds counts once; one that fails counts for nothing. The catch: the free plan only builds two-step Zaps, one trigger and one action. Add a search like Find Company, a filter or a second action, and you have a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan. Since most useful Nogogo Zaps chain a lookup and a write, plan for that early.

Connect

Connect your Nogogo account in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the connection dialog

Go to the Apps page of your Zapier account and click + Add connection. You need a Nogogo account before you start, since Zapier only links accounts that already exist.

  2. 02

    Pick Nogogo

Type Nogogo in the search box of the dialog, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the Nogogo side, where the sign-in happens.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in to Nogogo in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection now shows on the Apps page, and every Zap that calls Nogogo reuses it.

First Zap

Your first Zap: enrich new leads from a sheet

GoalEach new row with a SIREN gets the company identity and its reliability signals written back.

  1. 01

    Start with the trigger

Build: create a Zap and pick Google Sheets with New Spreadsheet Row as the trigger. Nogogo cannot start a Zap, so your lead sheet does that job.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Test: Zapier brings back the three most recent rows of your sheet. Pick one with a real SIREN, so the next steps map on true data.

  3. 03

    Add the two Nogogo lookups

Add Find Company and map the SIREN column into its field. Then add Find Company Signals with the same column. Each one is a search step, so this Zap needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Write the results back

Add Update Spreadsheet Row and map the company name and signals into spare columns. Updating a row does not create a new one, so the trigger does not loop.

  5. 05

    Test and publish

Run each step once and read what came back. When the row looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. Rows added before that moment stay untouched.

Actions

Nogogo action in Zapier

Nogogo gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Get Barometer

Action

In Zapier“Retrieves the latest aggregated Nogogo.fr barometer indicators.”

Fetches the most recent aggregated figures of the Nogogo barometer you choose, so a report or a message always carries the current reading.

When to use it
a Zap that fills a market tracking sheet or posts the latest indicators to your team channel.
Watch out
the Barometer field is required, so pick one in the dropdown or the step will not run.
Searches

Nogogo searches: look up a company by SIREN

2 search steps look for data that already exists in Nogogo, so a later step can use it.

Both Nogogo searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under the SEARCH heading. They need a SIREN and nothing else. Three settings decide what happens when the lookup does not go as planned.

1

Find Company Signals

Search

In Zapier“Retrieves indicative reliability signals for a French company from its SIREN.”

Returns indicative reliability signals for the French company behind a SIREN, which gives a quick risk read before you commit to a deal.

When to use it
right after a quote request lands, so finance sees the signals next to the lead.
Watch out
these signals are indicative, a prompt to look closer rather than a final credit decision.
2

Find Company

Search

In Zapier“Finds a French company by SIREN and returns its main public identity data.”

Turns a SIREN into the company's main public identity data, so later steps can fill a CRM record without anyone typing the name by hand.

When to use it
a signup form asks for a SIREN and you want the full company card in your sheet.
Watch out
the SIREN must be nine digits with no spaces, or the search finds nothing.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that depended on it. Switched on, the Zap goes on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into a find-or-create. Nogogo exposes no find-or-create variant, so this box does not apply to either of its searches.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three ways out: keep the first match (the default), stop the Zap, or pass every match on at once.
When it breaks

When a Nogogo Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to Nogogo, so the known failure points are Zapier's own limits.

Four cases to check first, all tied to how Zapier itself works. If a run still looks wrong after checking them, our Zapier troubleshooting page walks through the usual suspects.

  • No catch-up on old rows

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Companies already in your sheet never get looked up; enriching that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

If the Zap writes Nogogo results as new rows in the very sheet its trigger watches, each write starts it again and burns tasks fast.
  • Bulk imports held back

Paste a thousand SIRENs at once and the trigger returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running every row.
  • Same row, one run

Zapier remembers what a polling trigger has already seen, so editing an old row does not start a second lookup for it.

FAQ

Nogogo Zapier integration: frequent questions

01Is the Nogogo Zapier integration free?
Yes, as far as Zapier goes. Nogogo is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan, which gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is structure: the free plan allows two steps, one trigger and one action. Get Barometer fits that shape. The two company lookups are search steps, and any Zap that adds a search, a filter or a second action becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Zapier also marks Nogogo as beta.
02How many tasks does a Nogogo Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger. A Zap that starts from a sheet, calls Get Barometer and stops costs one task per run. A Zap that runs Find Company, then Find Company Signals, then updates a row bills each successful step on its own, so plan on more than one task per lead. Checking for new data costs nothing, however often Zapier looks. A step that fails is not counted against the plan.
03Does Nogogo work in real time with Zapier?
It depends on the app that starts the Zap, because Nogogo has no trigger of its own. If that app's trigger is instant, the run starts as soon as the event happens and Nogogo answers within the same run. If it is a polling trigger, Zapier checks on a timer set by your plan: every 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise. The Nogogo steps then run straight after the trigger fires.
04What does it take to connect Nogogo to Zapier?
A Nogogo account and a Zapier account, nothing more. From the Apps page in Zapier, you add a connection, search for Nogogo, sign in on the tab that opens and grant access. The connection is stored once and reused by every Zap that calls Nogogo. Keep in mind that each lookup asks for a SIREN, so the app that starts the Zap has to carry that number somewhere, written as nine digits with no spaces.
05Why does Find Company return nothing?
Almost always because of the SIREN format. Nogogo expects nine digits with no spaces. A sheet that stores it with spaces between the digit groups sends a value Nogogo cannot match. By default a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps after it. Fix the source column, or switch on the setting that lets the Zap carry on when no result comes back. Then test the step again on a real row before you publish.
06What if the Nogogo operation needed is not in Zapier?
Then Zapier cannot do it with Nogogo today. The integration covers one action, Get Barometer, and two searches by SIREN: nothing triggers from Nogogo, and there is no lookup by company name. A workaround has to start elsewhere, for example a form or sheet that already holds the SIREN. Any other operation would need Nogogo or Zapier to add it to the app; the page only lists what the editor actually offers.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Nogogo?
Judge by criteria, not by a ranking. Zapier is the quickest start, and Nogogo is available there on the free plan, but company enrichment usually needs a search plus a write, which pushes you to a paid plan. Make and n8n bill differently and give more room for branching, at the cost of a steeper setup. Check whether each tool lists Nogogo, then weigh volume, budget and who maintains the flow.
