Nusii Proposals Zapier integrationAutomate Nusii Proposals with Zapier.
The Nusii Proposals Zapier integration gives you 7 triggers and 2 actions, with no search step. Every trigger is instant, so a proposal your client accepts can start a Zap the moment it happens, even on the free plan you start with.

What the Nusii Proposals Zapier integration does for you
It links your Nusii account to the rest of your tools through Zapier. A trigger (the Nusii event that starts the automation) watches your clients and proposals. An action (the step that writes something for you) creates a client or a draft proposal. All seven triggers are instant, so nothing waits for a timer.
A follow-up list that fills itself. Proposal Sent and Proposal Viewed tell your sales tool who has the document and who has actually opened it, so the reminder goes to the right person at the right moment.
A clean handover after the signature. Proposal Accepted and Proposal Charged pass the won deal to project setup or bookkeeping as soon as it closes, and nobody copies names from one screen to another.
Drafts that start themselves. Create Client and Create Draft Proposal let a form or a CRM open the Nusii file for you, so the proposal is already waiting when you sit down to write it.
What Zapier does not do here: it cannot look up a client or a proposal, update one, send one or delete one. A draft stays a draft, unsent, until someone finishes it in Nusii. If you are weighing other tools for this job, n8n vs Zapier and Make vs Zapier set Zapier side by side with each of them, so you can judge on your own criteria.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event occurs.
- Trigger
- The event in Nusii that starts the Zap, such as a proposal being accepted. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like creating a client.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task equals one action your Zap completes successfully; your plan counts those and nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant: the app calls Zapier as soon as the event happens. Every Nusii trigger is instant.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming data meets the condition you set, and stops it the rest of the time.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app so later steps can use it. Nusii offers no search step on Zapier.
- Connection
- Your Nusii account, linked to Zapier one time and then reused by every step, in every Zap, that reads or writes Nusii data.
What a Nusii Zap really costs
Zapier bills tasks, and only actions produce them. With Nusii, the math stays short.
- Trigger0 tasks
- Successful action1 task
- Failed action0 tasks
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo
The trigger never costs a task, however many proposals move. Each action that succeeds counts once; one that fails counts nothing. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps only: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Nusii is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. The interval grid below is for polling triggers: every Nusii trigger skips it.
Connect your Nusii account in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A dialog opens with a search box. Before you start, check that you can sign in to Nusii and that you can reach the clients and proposals you want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Nusii Proposals
Type Nusii Proposals in the search box, select it in the list, then click Add connection. Zapier opens a new tab where Nusii asks you to sign in with your usual account.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Nusii in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then appears on your Apps page, and every Zap that uses Nusii reuses it, so you do this once per account.
Your first Zap: a draft proposal for each new client
GoalOpen a draft proposal in Nusii for every new client that passes your filter.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick the trigger
Start a new Zap, choose Nusii Proposals as the app and Client Created as the event, then select the connection you added. The trigger is instant, so the editor shows a lightning bolt on it.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent clients of your account. Pick a real one: its fields are what you will map in the next steps.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then set the field, the rule and the value. Use a text rule on text fields, or it never passes. A filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the action
Add Nusii Proposals again with Create Draft Proposal. Fill in the required title: type one, or map a value from the trigger so each draft carries its client's name.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action and read what Zapier returns before going further. Then click Publish. From that moment each new client goes through the Zap; the clients created before stay as they are.
Nusii triggers: seven instant events
7 events start a Zap when something happens in Nusii Proposals, and 7 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Client Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a client is created.”
Starts the Zap each time a client is added to your Nusii account, so the rest of your stack learns about the contact as soon as it exists.
Proposal Accepted
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a proposal is accepted.”
Your client clicks to accept, and this trigger hands the won proposal to the rest of your tools without anyone opening Nusii.
Proposal Viewed
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a client views a proposal. Be aware that this trigger only works for Active Proposals with status: pending.”
Tells you that a client has opened a proposal you sent, which is often the best moment to pick up the phone.
Proposal Charged
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a proposal is charged.”
Reacts when a proposal is charged, so the money side of a deal can move on without someone checking Nusii by hand.
Proposal Created
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a proposal is created.”
Catches every proposal the moment it is created in Nusii, while it is still being written and before anything goes to the client.
Proposal Rejected
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a proposal is rejected.”
Reports a proposal your client has declined, so a lost deal gets recorded instead of quietly forgotten in the inbox.
Proposal Sent
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a proposal is sent.”
Kicks off as soon as a proposal is sent to the client, which marks the real start of your follow-up.
Nusii actions: create clients and draft proposals
Nusii Proposals gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Client
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new client.”
Turns data another app collected into a Nusii client. The contact is then ready before anyone starts writing the proposal.
Create Draft Proposal
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a new proposal.”
Opens a new proposal in Nusii as a draft, under the title you type or map from an earlier step.
When a Nusii Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Nusii, so the traps below are the general ones, applied to the way people use Nusii.
Most failures come from timing and loops, not from the connection itself. If a Zap stops without a clear reason, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the next place to look.
No backlog when you publish
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Clients and proposals that already existed stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.The Client Created loop
If a Zap started by a new Nusii client also creates a Nusii client, each run sets it off again and burns through your monthly tasks fast.Bulk imports and flood protection
Importing many clients at once can hand Zapier a huge batch in one go, and its flood protection may then hold those events back.Proposal Viewed stays silent
Views only start the Zap on active proposals still pending. A client reopening an accepted or rejected proposal starts nothing at all.
