Overview

What the Osarh Zapier integration actually does

It links your Osarh academy to the other apps you use, without code. Something happens in Osarh (a member signs up, a course is finished, an order comes in), Zapier notices it on its next check, and another tool does its part. The reverse road is narrower: one action, which enrolls a member in a course.

Three results people usually build first. A clean member list elsewhere: New Member feeds your CRM or your mailing tool, so nobody copies sign-ups by hand. A completion follow-up: Course Completed tells your sales tool or your certificate tool that a learner reached the end. An enrollment that runs itself: a payment recorded in another app ends with Enroll Member, and the person lands in the right course (Osarh even creates the account when the person has none yet).

Now what Zapier does not do here. Every one of the 8 triggers is a polling trigger, so nothing arrives instantly: on the free plan you wait up to 15 minutes between checks. There is a single action, so Zapier cannot edit a course, cancel an enrollment or update a product in Osarh. And the 4 searches only read: they find a course, a member, an order or a product so a later step can use it.

If you are still choosing a tool, the Make vs Zapier comparison sits next to our Zapier review.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for that event and nothing else.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in an app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task equals one action your Zap completes successfully; your plan counts those.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant trigger is pushed by the app the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming item meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something that already exists in an app, so the following steps can reuse what it found.
Cost

What an Osarh Zap really costs

Osarh is not reserved for paid plans: it runs on the free one. The bill is counted in tasks, and the trigger itself costs none.

  • Trigger checkFree, however often Zapier looks
  • Successful action1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two steps per Zap
  • Osarh accessFree plan included

Each successful action is one task, and a failed one is not counted. Looking for new members or orders costs nothing, however often Zapier checks. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and builds two-step Zaps only: one trigger, one action. Add a filter, a second action or a search such as Find Course and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. A three-action Zap uses three times the tasks of a one-action Zap.

Connect

Connect your Osarh account to Zapier

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Osarh account linked once, then reused by every Zap step that touches Osarh.

  2. 02

    Pick Osarh

Type Osarh in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. You need an existing Osarh account; Zapier does not create one for you.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Sign in to Osarh in the tab that opens and let Zapier access the account. If the academy belongs to someone else, you also need read or write rights on whatever the Zap should touch.

First Zap

Your first Osarh Zap, step by step

GoalWhen a new member joins your academy, look up your onboarding course by its title and enroll the member in it.

  1. 01

    Build: pick the trigger

Create a Zap, choose Osarh as the app and New Member as the event that starts it, then select the Osarh connection you made above.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent members of your academy, so you map the next steps on a real person instead of a blank.

  3. 03

    Add the search

Add Find Course and type the title of your onboarding course as the keyword. This step makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the action

Add Enroll Member. Map the member identifier from the trigger into User ID, and the course found by the search into Course ID.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step once and read what came back. When the test member shows up in the course, publish the Zap to switch it on.

Triggers

The 8 Osarh triggers

8 events start a Zap when something happens in Osarh. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

Appointment Reservation

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new appointment reservation is created.”

Starts your Zap each time someone books an appointment in your Osarh academy, which makes it the entry point for anything you sell as a live session or a one-to-one slot.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
push each new booking into a shared calendar or a team chat, so the trainer sees it without logging into Osarh.
Watch out
because of the check interval, a booking made for the very next slot can reach your calendar after it has started.
2

Course Completed

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a member completed a course.”

Fires when a member reaches the end of a course. It is the moment learners are most open to a next step, and this trigger is how another tool hears about it.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
tag the learner in your email tool and send the follow-up course offer, or ask for a review while the experience is fresh.
Watch out
completions that happened before you published the Zap are never sent, so nobody from last month gets the follow-up.
3

New Course

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new Course is created.”

Reacts to a course being created in your academy. It is useful for teams where one person builds the content and others announce or sell it.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
add a row to the course catalogue spreadsheet your marketing team works from, so no new course is forgotten in the next newsletter.
Watch out
courses already in your academy before you publish the Zap never reach that sheet, so add the existing catalogue by hand once.
4

New Enrollment

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a member enrolls a course.”

Runs when a member enrolls in a course, whether they did it themselves or someone did it for them. That second case matters for the warning below.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
send a welcome message from your own email tool, or give the learner access to a community space that lives outside Osarh.
Watch out
an Enroll Member action in another Zap creates enrollments too, so this trigger will catch those as well.
5

Learning Path

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new learning path is created.”

Watches for learning paths newly created in your academy. In the editor it is simply called Learning Path, without the word new.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
notify your sales team in their chat channel when a new programme exists, so they can start pitching it to companies.
Watch out
paths created before the Zap was switched on are not picked up; list those by hand if your catalogue needs them.
6

New Member

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new member is created.”

Fires each time a member account is created in your academy. It is the trigger most Osarh users start with, because every other workflow depends on knowing who joined.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
create the contact in your CRM, or add the person to the onboarding sequence of your mailing tool.
Watch out
Enroll Member creates an account when the person has none, so members added by another Zap start this one too.
7

Order Placed

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new support Order is placed.”

Starts the Zap when an order is placed in your Osarh academy. For anyone selling courses or products through Osarh, it is the link between a sale and everything that follows it.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
log each order in your accounting spreadsheet, or alert the person who handles invoices.
Watch out
after a bulk import of orders, the sudden batch can be held back by Zapier's flood protection instead of running one by one.
8

Product Created

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new product is created.”

Reacts when a product is added to your Osarh store. Products and courses are separate things in Osarh, and this trigger only covers the first.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
copy each new product into the inventory sheet your team shares, so prices and stock are checked in one place.
Watch out
it only sees new products; an edit to an existing one does not start the Zap.
Actions

The Osarh action

Osarh gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Enroll Member

Action

In Zapier“Enroll a member in a course. (If the person does not have an account, one will be created and they will then be enrolled.)”

Puts a person into one of your courses. If that person has no Osarh account yet, Osarh creates it first and then enrolls them, so one step covers both jobs.

When to use it
a payment recorded in another app or a form filled outside Osarh should end with the buyer inside the course.
Watch out
User ID and Course ID are both required; a search step is usually where they come from.
Searches

The 4 Osarh searches

4 search steps look for data that already exists in Osarh, so a later step can use it.

A search step reads your academy and hands what it found to the next steps. In the editor, Osarh searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. Osarh has no find-or-create variant, so a search never creates anything. Three settings decide what happens when the result is not the one you expected.

1

Find Course

Search

In Zapier“Find a course at your academy by the given title”

Looks a course up by its title, using the Keyword box, and returns it to the following steps. It is the cleanest way to get the Course ID that Enroll Member requires.

When to use it
a Zap that always enrolls people into the same onboarding course, found by its name.
Watch out
if you rename the course in Osarh, update the keyword too.
2

Find Member

Search

In Zapier“Finds a Member at your academy”

Finds a member of your academy from a single Keyword, which can be the person's name, mobile number or email. Its result gives later steps the member's record to work with.

When to use it
a buyer arrives from your payment tool with an email, and you need the matching Osarh member before enrolling them.
Watch out
a name can match several people; set the multiple-results rule on purpose.
3

Find Order

Search

In Zapier“Finds a Order in Osarh”

Retrieves an order from Osarh. The Keyword can be the order id, or the buyer's mobile, email or name.

When to use it
your support tool receives a refund request and the Zap pulls the original order so the agent sees it next to the ticket.
Watch out
searching by name is the loosest option; the order id is the only value that points to a single order, since one buyer can have several.
4

Find Product

Search

In Zapier“Find a Product in Osarh”

Returns a product from your Osarh store, found by name, SKU or id typed in the Keyword box.

When to use it
a sale logged elsewhere carries only a SKU, and a later step needs the full product record from Osarh.
Watch out
when nothing matches, the default setting stops the Zap, which is often what you want for a wrong SKU.

The three settings every search exposes

  1. Successful if no search results are found?
Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there and skips the steps that depend on it. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
  2. Create X if it doesn't exist yet?
This box turns a search into a find-or-create in apps that offer it. Osarh does not, so you will not see it on these four searches.
  3. If multiple search results are found?
Three exits: keep the first match (the default), stop the Zap, or pass every match on at once.
When it breaks

When an Osarh Zap breaks

Zapier publishes no Osarh-specific limit or error, so the traps below are the general ones. They still hit Osarh hard, because of how its trigger and action overlap.

  • The past is never sent

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Members, orders and enrollments that already existed stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.
  • Enrollment loop

A Zap that starts on New Enrollment and ends with Enroll Member creates the very event it watches, so it can restart itself and burn through your task count.
  • Bulk imports get held back

Import hundreds of members or orders at once and the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can pause it instead of running every item.
  • Duplicates are filtered out

Zapier remembers what a polling trigger has already seen, so the same member or order does not start the Zap twice, even if it shows up again in a later check.

FAQ

Osarh Zapier integration: frequent questions

01Is the Osarh Zapier integration free?
Yes, Osarh works on the free Zapier plan because it is not one of the apps reserved for paid plans. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and checks polling triggers every 15 minutes. The real limit is shape: the free plan builds two-step Zaps only, one trigger and one action. Once you add a filter or a search such as Find Course, the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan. A simple Zap like New Member followed by an action in another app stays free.
02How many tasks does an Osarh Zap use?
One task per action that completes successfully, and nothing else. The trigger never costs a task, and neither do the checks Zapier runs to look for new members or orders, however often they happen. An action that fails is not counted. So a Zap that adds each new Osarh member to your CRM uses one task per member. A Zap with three actions uses three tasks per run. Watch the loop risk described above: a Zap that keeps restarting itself eats tasks very fast.
03Is Osarh on Zapier real time?
No. All 8 Osarh triggers are polling triggers, which means Zapier checks your academy for new items on a timer instead of being told the moment something happens. The interval depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 minutes on Professional, every minute on Team and Enterprise. On the paid plans you can also change the interval and run a check by hand from the editor. None of the Osarh triggers is instant, so the lightning bolt never appears on these Zaps.
04What does it take to connect Osarh to Zapier?
An Osarh account, a Zapier account, and access rights on what the Zap should touch. The connection is made once from the Apps page of Zapier: click + Add connection, pick Osarh, sign in to Osarh in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access. Every Zap step that uses Osarh then reuses that connection. If the academy belongs to someone else, ask for read or write access first, otherwise the steps that write, such as Enroll Member, cannot do their job.
05Why does an Osarh enrollment Zap keep running?
Because it probably watches the same thing it writes. Enroll Member creates an enrollment, and also creates a member account when the person has none. If the same Zap, or another one, starts on New Enrollment or New Member, each enrollment you create sets off a new run. Zapier's general rule applies: a Zap that writes where its own trigger watches restarts itself and burns tasks. Add a filter that lets only the right cases through, or start the Zap from another app instead.
06What if the Osarh operation you need is missing?
Then Zapier cannot do it with the Osarh app as it stands. The integration exposes 13 operations: 8 triggers, the Enroll Member action and 4 searches. There is no step to update a course, cancel an enrollment, edit a member or change a product. If the workflow depends on one of those, the job has to happen in Osarh itself or through another route. Checking that list before you design the workflow saves you from building half a Zap that cannot be finished.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Osarh?
It depends on criteria, not on a winner. On Zapier, the deciding facts are on this page: 8 polling triggers, one action, 4 searches, a free plan limited to two-step Zaps and checks every 15 minutes. If your workflow fits one trigger and one action and a wait of up to 15 minutes is fine, Zapier covers it on the free plan. If you need searches, filters or a faster check, budget for a paid plan. Compare those needs with what the other tools offer for Osarh before choosing.
