Overview

What the Outbound by Enreach Zapier integration does

Outbound by Enreach is a calling platform that sales teams use to work through leads, prospects and customers. The Zapier integration connects it to your other tools in both directions: a lead update in a campaign can start a Zap, and a Zap started elsewhere can add a lead to a campaign.

Three results people build with it. Call results that leave the dialer: Updated Lead starts the Zap and a sheet or a CRM receives what changed, so managers read outcomes without logging in. A follow-up that is never forgotten: the same trigger, behind a filter, hands only the leads you care about to a task or email tool. Fresh leads straight into a campaign: Create Lead takes contacts from a web form or a spreadsheet and files them in the right project and campaign, ready for the next call session.

Now the limits. The trigger reacts to updated leads only, inside one project and campaign per Zap; there is no trigger here for a new campaign or a finished call as such. There is a single action and no search step, so a Zap cannot look up an existing lead or edit one: it can only create. If your plan relies on finding or changing leads, this integration will not do it as it stands.

The trigger is instant, which matters on a free plan, as the cost section explains. If you are still choosing a platform, Make vs Zapier and Zapier training are worth a look before you build.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words you will see in the editor, in plain English. The rest of the page uses them without defining them again.

Zap
The automation itself: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for that event and only that one.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something in an app on your behalf.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan counts those and nothing else.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself, the moment the event happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already stored in an app for later steps. Outbound by Enreach has none on Zapier.
Connection
Your Outbound by Enreach account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that talks to it.
Cost

What an Outbound by Enreach Zap really costs

Outbound by Enreach is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans: it works on the free plan.

  • TriggerNever billed
  • Each successful action1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Updated LeadInstant, no interval

The trigger never costs a task, and waiting for lead updates is free. You pay for each action that succeeds; one that fails is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times what a one-action Zap uses. The free plan offers 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but stops each Zap at two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter, a search or a second action makes it a multi-step Zap that needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only concerns polling triggers; Updated Lead is instant, so it fires straight away whatever your plan.

Connect

Connect Outbound by Enreach in three steps

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need an Outbound by Enreach account first, plus access to any project or campaign you do not own but want the Zap to use.

  2. 02

    Pick the app

Type Outbound by Enreach in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the app side so you can sign in with the account your Zaps should use.

  3. 03

    Grant access

Sign in in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then shows on your Apps page, and the trigger and the action can both select it in any Zap.

First Zap

Your first Outbound by Enreach Zap, step by step

GoalLog the updated leads of one campaign that meet your condition into a shared sales sheet.

  1. 01

    Set the trigger

Create a Zap, choose Outbound by Enreach as the starting app and Updated Lead as the event. Select your connection, then the Project, then the Campaign to watch.

  2. 02

    Test with real leads

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the account, so you can pick a real lead and see what it carries before mapping anything.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add Filter, then set the value to check, the rule and the value to compare with. The filter makes this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add the sheet row

Add Google Sheets with Create Spreadsheet Row, pick the sheet, then map the lead details from the test into its columns. Start with a handful of columns.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step once and read what came back before going further. When the row looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.

Triggers

The Outbound by Enreach trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Outbound by Enreach, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

Updated Lead

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a lead is updated.”

Starts your Zap whenever a lead changes in the campaign you picked, so the steps after it can report, notify or pass that lead on to another tool.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a sales manager wants each lead touched by the calling team copied into the weekly pipeline sheet without exporting anything.
Watch out
you must choose a Project before the Campaign list appears, and each Zap watches a single campaign, so several campaigns mean several Zaps.
Actions

The Outbound by Enreach action

Outbound by Enreach gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Create Lead

Action

In Zapier“Creates a new lead.”

Adds a new lead to the project and campaign you choose, filled with the details carried by the earlier steps, so callers find it in their queue.

When to use it
a marketing team sends every webinar sign-up straight into the follow-up campaign of the inside sales team.
Watch out
Field Categories decides which lead fields you can map; to set the Call Outcome, choose all.
When it breaks

When an Outbound by Enreach Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to Outbound by Enreach and lists no limit of its own, so the traps below are the general ones. They still catch most first builds, and with leads they cost real follow-ups.

Each case can be spotted before it costs tasks or loses a lead. Read them once before you publish, and keep Zapier troubleshooting close for the day a Zap stops.

  • Leads updated earlier are skipped

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Leads changed before that never reach the sheet; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • A Zap that keeps setting itself off

A Zap that writes into the very campaign its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through your task count fast.
  • A bulk update floods the Zap

If a mass edit suddenly returns a huge batch of updated leads, Zapier's flood protection can hold the Zap back instead of running them all.
  • A filter on the free plan

The free plan builds two-step Zaps only. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, and it then needs a paid plan to run.

FAQ

Outbound by Enreach Zapier integration: frequently asked questions

01Is the Outbound by Enreach Zapier integration free?
Yes, on the Zapier side it works on the free plan, because Zapier does not reserve Outbound by Enreach for paid plans. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps. The limit is the shape of each Zap: two steps, one trigger and one action. A Zap that copies every updated lead of a campaign into a sheet fits. Add a filter to keep only some leads, or a second action, and it becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Count the steps your idea needs before you rely on the free tier.
02How many tasks does an Outbound by Enreach Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger. When Updated Lead starts a Zap, that start is free, and so is the wait for the next update. Each completed action counts once: a Zap with one action uses one task per updated lead, a Zap with three actions uses three. A failed action is not counted against your plan. On a busy campaign, many lead updates can add up quickly, so a filter that drops irrelevant ones often pays for itself, even though it requires a paid plan.
03Does Outbound by Enreach trigger Zaps in real time?
Yes. Updated Lead is an instant trigger: the app tells Zapier the moment a lead changes, and the Zap starts right away. The plan intervals (15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional, 1 on Team and Enterprise) only apply to polling triggers, which Zapier checks on a timer. Outbound by Enreach has none, so a free plan reacts as fast as a paid one here. In the editor, a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt, an easy way to confirm what you are working with.
04What does it take to connect Outbound by Enreach to Zapier?
An Outbound by Enreach account, and access to any project or campaign you do not own but want the Zap to use. Then three moves: open the Apps page of your Zapier account and click + Add connection, search for the app and click Add connection, then sign in in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access. The connection is reused by the trigger and the action in every Zap. Make sure the account can see the projects you need, since every step asks for one.
05Why is the Campaign list empty in the Zap?
Because both the trigger and the action ask for a Project first, and the Campaign menu only fills once a project is selected. Pick the project, then the campaign, and the list should appear. If it stays empty, the connected account probably cannot see that project, so check its access in Outbound by Enreach. Keep in mind that each Zap works on one campaign: to follow two campaigns, build a second Zap set on the other campaign rather than looking for a multi-campaign option.
06What if the Outbound by Enreach operation you need is missing?
Then this integration cannot do it, because Zapier only offers what the app exposes: one trigger, Updated Lead, and one action, Create Lead. There is no search step to find an existing lead, no action to update or delete one, and no trigger for other events. Write down the exact gap before you look for a workaround. Sometimes another app in the Zap can hold the missing piece, such as a sheet listing leads already sent; otherwise, check whether another automation platform covers the need.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Outbound by Enreach?
That depends on your criteria rather than on a single winner. On Zapier, Outbound by Enreach offers one instant trigger and one create action, and runs on the free plan as long as each Zap stays at two steps. If that covers the job, Zapier is the shortest path. If you need filters, several steps or high lead volumes, compare what each platform charges for those runs with your own numbers, and check which operations of this app each tool actually exposes, since the list differs between platforms.
