UProc Zapier integrationAutomate UProc with Zapier.

The UProc Zapier integration gives you 3 operations in the editor: 2 triggers, both instant, that fire when a B2B profile or a Webtrack lands in one of your UProc lists, and 1 action that runs a verification or enrichment tool. Use, cost, traps.

Overview

What the UProc Zapier integration is for

It connects UProc, a data platform that cleans, verifies and enriches records, to the rest of your apps through Zapier, with no code to write. Zapier can react when something new lands in one of your UProc lists, and can ask UProc to run one of its tools on data coming from another step. Three operations: two that listen, one that acts.

Three results you can build. A prospect list that travels: New Profile Added to List fires each time a B2B profile joins a UProc list you selected, so the next step can send it to the place your sales team works in. A web list that does not sit idle: New Webtrack Added to List does the same for the Web lists. And a checkpoint for incoming data: Select Tool lets a Zap ask UProc to verify or enrich a value before it goes any further.

Now the limits, and they matter here. The integration is small: no search step, so a Zap cannot look up a profile already stored in UProc; one single action, whose behaviour depends on the tool you pick in it; nothing to edit or remove what a list holds. Zapier's own description of the action stops at verification and enrichment, so check in UProc which tool fits your data before you count on it.

If you work with other automation tools, the same app has guides for UProc n8n integration and UProc Make integration.

Vocabulary

Zapier in seven words

Seven words you will meet on every screen of the editor. One line each, then the page uses them as they are.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for that event and reacts to it.
Action
What the Zap does once it has started: the step that checks, writes or sends something in your place.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. Every action your Zap completes successfully counts as one task on your plan.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it the rest of the time.
Search step
A step that finds something already stored in an app so later steps can reuse it. UProc offers none on Zapier.
Cost

What a UProc Zap costs you

Listening is free. A profile or a Webtrack that lands in a UProc list and starts your Zap costs nothing by itself; only the actions that follow are counted against your plan.

  • Trigger0 tasks, every time
  • Action that works1 task each
  • Action that fails0 tasks
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps per Zap
  • Filter or second actionmulti-step Zap, paid plan

Each action that goes through counts as one task, and each one is counted separately: a new profile that is enriched and then sent to another app costs two. An action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stays at two steps, one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes it a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. A few apps and actions take more than one task when they complete. The interval grid below only applies to polling triggers, and both UProc triggers are instant.

Connect

Connect your UProc account once

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your UProc account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every UProc step of every Zap you build after that.

  2. 02

    Find UProc

Type UProc in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the UProc side so you can sign in there rather than inside Zapier.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in with the UProc account that holds the lists you want to automate, then grant Zapier access. If a list is not yours, you also need read or write access on it before a Zap can work with it.

First Zap

Your first UProc Zap

GoalEach B2B profile added to your prospect list goes through a UProc check, but only the profiles your team has flagged as worth it.

  1. 01

    Build: choose the trigger

Create a Zap, pick UProc as the app that starts it, then New Profile Added to List, and select your prospect list. A Zap always opens on a trigger, never on an action.

  2. 02

    Test on a real profile

Select your connection and run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items, so make sure the list holds a real profile and build the rest on it.

  3. 03

    Keep the ones that count

Add a Filter step from the plus icon: the field to look at, the rule, the value. The filter turns this into a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan is needed.

  4. 04

    Run the check

Add Select Tool, choose the UProc verification or enrichment tool that fits, and map the value from the profile. Test the step and read what UProc sends back.

  5. 05

    Publish

When every step answers properly, click Publish. From then on, and not before, each new profile in the list is checked as soon as it arrives.

Triggers

The 2 triggers, one by one

2 events start a Zap when something happens in UProc, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Profile Added to List

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when new B2B profile is added to selected UProc's list.”

Starts the Zap when a new B2B profile joins the UProc list you selected. Your list becomes the entry point of an automation instead of a file you export by hand.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a business developer who builds prospect lists in UProc and wants each new company to reach the CRM without an export.
Watch out
one Zap follows one list; a second list means a second Zap drawing on the same task count.
2

New Webtrack Added to List

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when new Webtrack is added to selected UProc's Web list.”

Fires when a new Webtrack is added to one of your UProc Web lists. It is the twin of the profile trigger, for the lists of the Web kind rather than the B2B kind.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a marketing manager who wants every new entry of a Web list shared with the team where they already work.
Watch out
it watches Web lists only; a B2B list needs the other trigger.
Actions

The action

UProc gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Select Tool

Action

In Zapier“Select a tool to perform verification or enrichment”

The single UProc action. You pick one of UProc's tools, then hand it the value to verify or enrich, taken from an earlier step. What comes back depends on the tool chosen.

When to use it
checking a contact detail from a form or a CRM before it is saved anywhere.
Watch out
each run counts as one task when it works, so put a filter in front if not every record needs checking.
When it breaks

When a UProc Zap breaks

Zapier attaches no help article to UProc and records no limit of its own for it. The failures worth knowing are the ones every Zap shares, and they apply here as they do anywhere else.

Four cases explain most surprises. If one of your Zaps is already stuck, Zapier troubleshooting covers the usual suspects.

  • The list's past is not replayed

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Profiles or Webtracks already in the list before that moment never start it; moving that history is a separate job.
  • The loop back into your list

If a later step adds records to the very list the trigger watches, each one starts a new run. The Zap goes round in circles and burns through the task count fast.
  • A sudden flood of entries

After a bulk import or a migration, a trigger can suddenly return a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection may then hold part of it back instead of running it all.
  • Deduplication is not the safeguard here

Zapier remembers what it has seen on polling triggers so an item does not run twice. Both UProc triggers are instant, so that safeguard is not the one at work.

FAQ

Questions people ask before building

01Is the UProc Zapier integration free?
Yes, it works on the free plan, within that plan's limits. UProc is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so you can connect it and build straight away. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. A new profile that goes through one UProc check fits. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which requires a paid plan.
02How many tasks does a UProc Zap use?
One per action that succeeds, nothing for the trigger. A profile or a Webtrack that starts the Zap is free, and an action that fails is not counted. In a Zap with several actions, each is billed separately, so a profile that is checked by UProc and then sent to your CRM costs two. A few apps and actions take more than one task when they complete. With 100 free tasks a month, a list that grows fast is what drains the count.
03Is UProc real time on Zapier?
Yes, both UProc triggers are instant. UProc reports a new profile or a new Webtrack in a list the moment it is added, so the Zap starts straight away whatever your plan. The polling grid of 15 minutes on Free, 2 on Professional and 1 on Team and Enterprise does not apply to them. That type is set by the app, not by you, and a Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt in the editor.
04What do you need to connect UProc to Zapier?
A UProc account, plus access to the lists you want the Zap to use. In Zapier, open Apps, click + Add connection, search for UProc, click Add connection and sign in on the tab that opens. Grant access and the connection is reused by every UProc step. If a list belongs to someone else, you need read or write access on it. Before testing a trigger, make sure the list already holds at least one real entry.
05Why is there only one UProc action?
Because Zapier lists a single UProc action, Select Tool, and the choice of tool happens inside it. You open the action, choose the verification or enrichment tool you need, then map the value to check. The upside is a short list to learn; the downside is that Zapier's listing does not say what each tool returns. Run the test on a real value and read the result before you build anything on top.
06What if the UProc operation you need is not there?
Then Zapier cannot do it with UProc on its own. The integration offers two triggers and a single action, with no search step to look up a record already in UProc and no raw request action to reach the rest of the platform. Reading an existing list entry on demand, for instance, is not possible from the editor. Before building a workaround, check what the n8n and Make pages list for UProc, since each tool exposes its own set.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for UProc?
It depends on your criteria, not on a winner. Zapier suits a team whose needs fit two instant triggers and one action, and who already build their automations there. Make or n8n deserve a look when you need an operation this short list does not offer, or when the rest of your data flows already run there. Compare the operations each tool lists for UProc, then the way each one bills, before you decide.
