LinkedIn Ads course 2026: the 6 best for B2B marketers

We compared LinkedIn Ads courses for B2B marketers and teams: price per seat, format, length, curriculum, certificate and team options.

The short answer, depending on what you need. You already run LinkedIn campaigns and want a method to scale them: CXL, a 29-lesson course by AJ Wilcox. You want coaching and live audits on your own account: B2Linked's LinkedIn Ads Fanatics, $79 a month, $279 with coaching. You are in the UK and want a full day with a trainer: Jellyfish, £499 ex VAT. You are a US beginner who wants a live class: Noble Desktop, $425 with one free retake if a seat is open. You want the best practitioner live, in two hours: the AMA session, $150 to $275.

Before you pay for anything, know this: LinkedIn's official Advertising Fundamentals certification is free. None of the paid courses here gives you a LinkedIn certification; they give a certificate of completion or attendance. What you pay for is method, depth and feedback. We compared 16 courses, their curricula, prices, formats and reviews, and kept the six that a B2B marketer or team can actually buy.

Best in-depth LinkedIn Ads course for practitioners

CXL · Validate and scale your LinkedIn ads

3.9/5

The most specialized video course we compared. It is taught by AJ Wilcox, CEO of the LinkedIn Ads agency B2Linked, and it is built around one idea: validate fast, kill what does not work, and scale what drives pipeline. The 29 lessons cover channel planning (is LinkedIn even the right channel for you?), audience and cost management, ad creation, performance tracking and optimization, and ongoing account management, including 3-stage funnel campaigns.

It is self-paced video, 4 h 10 min in total, with English subtitles and a CXL certificate at the end. You can buy just this course or get it through a CXL subscription; the All-Access plan starts at $289 per month, and only the annual plan comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. CXL also sells a LinkedIn Ads Experimentation course (4 h 25 min, 19 lessons) taught by Rob Muldoon, formerly at LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, if you want to go further on testing.

Standout features
  • Taught by AJ Wilcox, presented as the person behind $150M+ in LinkedIn ad spend
  • 12 lessons on audience and cost management alone
  • Annual team plans up to 20% cheaper per seat
+Pros
  • ✓The deepest curriculum on LinkedIn Ads strategy we found
  • ✓Self-paced: fits around a full-time job
  • ✓A companion course on experimentation for advanced teams
−Cons
  • ✗Standalone price not shown on the course page: check it at checkout
  • ✗Monthly and quarterly CXL plans are not refundable
  • ✗Video only: nobody reviews your own campaigns
Verdict

Our first pick if you already spend on LinkedIn and want a proven method rather than a tour of Campaign Manager. Check the standalone price at checkout before choosing a subscription.

Best for ongoing coaching on your own account

B2Linked · LinkedIn Ads Fanatics

3.9/5

B2Linked is the LinkedIn Ads agency founded by AJ Wilcox, and LinkedIn Ads Fanatics is its membership. The Fanatic tier, at $79 per month, gives access to four courses, from basic to expert: a Campaign Manager walkthrough, LinkedIn Ads basics, advanced and expert LinkedIn Ads, about 3.5 hours of material in all.

The SuperFanatic tier, at $279 per month, adds group coaching calls with AJ Wilcox, live account audits, Q&A and the chance to become "Advanced LinkedIn Ads Certified", a credential from B2Linked. The page describes the calls as weekly in one place and bi-weekly in another, so ask before you subscribe. There is no guarantee or refund policy on the page.

Standout features
  • Live account audits on the $279 tier
  • Four levels, from Campaign Manager basics to expert
  • Coaching by the founder of a specialist agency
+Pros
  • ✓The only option we compared with live audits of real accounts
  • ✓Cancel when you have what you need
  • ✓Courses from beginner to expert in one membership
−Cons
  • ✗A subscription: a year at $279 a month costs more than any one-off course here
  • ✗Weekly or bi-weekly coaching: the page says both
  • ✗No refund policy or testimonials on the page
Verdict

The best choice for a team that wants coaching on its own campaigns for a few months. Take the $79 tier first if you only need the courses.

Best one-day classroom course for UK teams

Jellyfish Training · LinkedIn Marketing

3.8/5

A one-day course from the training arm of the Jellyfish agency. The paid part goes well beyond a demo: paid campaign strategy, targeting with Matched and Lookalike audiences, campaign execution (structure, objectives, budget and bidding), ad types and placements, conversion tracking with the LinkedIn pixel, then optimization with A/B tests and Campaign Manager analytics. No previous LinkedIn advertising experience is required.

The day runs from 10:00 to 17:00 at The Shard in London or live online, at £499 per person excluding VAT. Public sessions are small, up to 4 people, and a team of 5 or more books a private session. You leave with a Certificate of Attendance. We found no independent reviews of this course; public reviews of Jellyfish are about the agency, not its training.

Standout features
  • Conversion tracking and bidding in a one-day program
  • Public classes of up to 4 people
  • Private sessions for teams of 5 or more
+Pros
  • ✓The most complete paid program of the instructor-led days we compared
  • ✓Small groups, so real questions get answered
  • ✓No prior LinkedIn Ads experience required
−Cons
  • ✗Certificate of Attendance only
  • ✗No independent reviews of the course itself
  • ✗Priced in pounds and built for the UK market
Verdict

The pick for a UK team that learns best in a room with a trainer. Ask for a private quote as soon as you have five people.

Best live course for US beginners

Noble Desktop · LinkedIn Marketing Bootcamp

3.6/5

A 6-hour live class from Noble Desktop, a New York training school, taught in person or live online. It starts with an overview of LinkedIn's advertising platform, then targeting options, creating effective ad campaigns and measuring results. It also covers profile and organic LinkedIn marketing, so ads are one part of the day, not all of it.

Tuition is $425, with one free retake within a year (if the class runs with an empty seat) and a verified digital certificate of completion. The official page shows a 5.0 rating from 20 students; we found no independent reviews elsewhere yet.

Standout features
  • One free retake within a year, seat permitting
  • Live, project-based training
  • Verified digital certificate of completion
+Pros
  • ✓A live instructor at a mid-range price
  • ✓Retake the class free if you need a refresher
  • ✓In person in NYC or live online
−Cons
  • ✗Ads share the day with organic LinkedIn
  • ✗No independent reviews yet
  • ✗Less depth on bidding and scaling than CXL or B2Linked
Verdict

A safe first step for a beginner who needs a live class. If you already run campaigns, CXL or B2Linked go much further.

Best short live session with a top practitioner

American Marketing Association · LinkedIn Ads: Double Your Performance With the Same Budget

3.6/5

A two-hour live online session taught by AJ Wilcox for the American Marketing Association. The agenda runs from the fundamentals to building ads that perform, the costly pitfalls to avoid, turning LinkedIn into an ROI-generating machine, and a closing part on hacks and where the platform is going. There is live Q&A, and the recording stays available for three months.

The price is $275 for non-members, a year of AMA membership included, or $150 for members, with 10% off from three tickets. There is no certificate, but the session counts for 2 CEUs (continuing education units) toward the AMA's PCM certification. It runs as occasional sessions, so check the next one on the page.

Standout features
  • 2 CEUs toward the AMA PCM certification
  • Recording available for 3 months
  • 10% off from 3 tickets
+Pros
  • ✓The cheapest way to learn live from AJ Wilcox
  • ✓A year of AMA membership included for non-members
  • ✓Q&A with the trainer
−Cons
  • ✗Two hours only: a method, not a full program
  • ✗Occasional sessions, not on demand
  • ✗No certificate of its own
Verdict

Great value for a team lead who wants the key method and pitfalls fast. Pair it with LinkedIn's free courses for the basics.

Best long-form masterclass from a nonprofit

DMAnc · LinkedIn Advertising Masterclass

3.1/5

DMAnc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit digital marketing association. Its LinkedIn Advertising Masterclass runs in two modules. The first covers the fundamentals: the Insight Tag, conversion tracking, Campaign Manager and targeting. The second covers day-to-day management: ad formats, creative, budgets, bidding, A/B testing, measurement and the use of AI.

The program runs live online, and there is also a fully prerecorded option, with slides and PDF materials. The regular price is $1,000; the current offer is 50% off, so $500 for the prerecorded option. There is no certificate, and we found no independent reviews.

Standout features
  • Insight Tag and conversion tracking in module one
  • Live or fully prerecorded
  • Run by a nonprofit association
+Pros
  • ✓A complete program, from tracking to bidding
  • ✓Recorded option for busy schedules
  • ✓Slides and PDFs to keep
−Cons
  • ✗$1,000 regular price ($500 with the current offer) for no certificate
  • ✗No independent reviews found
  • ✗A less known organization than the others here
Verdict

A solid program, but a hard price to justify against CXL or B2Linked. Wait for a discount, or choose it only if the live format matters.

Which LinkedIn Ads course for your role, team size and level?

By role

  • B2B marketer launching a first campaign: start with LinkedIn Marketing Labs' free Introduction to LinkedIn Ads (47 minutes), then a live day at Noble Desktop or Jellyfish.
  • Paid media manager already spending on LinkedIn: CXL's Validate and scale course, then the LinkedIn Ads Experimentation course if testing is your weak spot.
  • Head of demand generation: B2Linked's SuperFanatic tier for a few months, to get live audits of your accounts and a second opinion on budgets and bidding.
  • Agency account manager: the free LinkedIn certifications, including the Ads Agency Certification for your agency, plus CXL or B2Linked for method.
  • Marketing lead who manages, not executes: the two-hour AMA session, to understand the method and the pitfalls well enough to brief and review your team.
  • Salesperson prospecting on LinkedIn: an ads course is probably not what you need; see our LinkedIn training ranking, which covers the wider platform.

By team size and level

  • One person, self-paced: CXL. Check the standalone price at checkout before you commit to a subscription.
  • Two to four people in the UK: Jellyfish public classes, which take up to 4 people.
  • Five or more: a private Jellyfish session, or CXL annual team plans at up to 20% less per seat.
  • Three or more for a short session: the AMA session, with 10% off from 3 tickets.
  • Complete beginner: LinkedIn's free courses first, then Noble Desktop, whose free retake (if a seat is open) lets you come back once you have run campaigns.
  • Advanced: B2Linked's expert course and coaching, or CXL's experimentation course.
Buyer's guide

How to choose a LinkedIn Ads course, and get your employer to pay

Before you compare curricula, answer three questions: do you already run campaigns, do you want a method or feedback on your own account, and how many people need training. Here is what we learned comparing the offers, and the traps that come up in reviews.

Start with LinkedIn's free courses

LinkedIn Marketing Labs is free and official. Its Introduction to LinkedIn Ads takes 47 minutes, and it offers certifications in Advertising Fundamentals, Marketing Strategy, Content and Creative Design and Marketing Measurement, plus an Ads Agency Certification for agencies. Practitioners on forums agree that LinkedIn's own training is worth doing for B2B structure and reporting. For a first campaign, it is enough.

LinkedIn Learning and Udemy

Two names come up a lot when you search for a LinkedIn Ads course, and neither made our list. LinkedIn Learning carried Advertising on LinkedIn, taught by AJ Wilcox, but course listings now mark it as discontinued, and a search for AJ Wilcox on LinkedIn Learning today returns a single four-minute video. If you want his method, his current material is the CXL course and the AMA session above. Udemy lists many LinkedIn Ads courses from independent instructors, some free, with uneven quality and update dates: check the last update and the reviews before you buy, because Campaign Manager changes fast.

CXL, B2Linked and AMA: one trainer

Three courses in this ranking lead to the same person. AJ Wilcox, founder of B2Linked, teaches the CXL course and the AMA session, and B2Linked's membership gives access to all four of his courses. Pick one door, not three: the CXL course for the structured method, the AMA session for two live hours, B2Linked for coaching and audits on your own account. Buying two of them means paying twice for much of the same method.

Certificate of completion vs certification

No paid course in this ranking gives you a LinkedIn certification. CXL gives a CXL course certificate, Noble Desktop a verified certificate of completion, Jellyfish a Certificate of Attendance, B2Linked its own "Advanced LinkedIn Ads Certified" credential. The AMA session gives 2 CEUs (continuing education units) toward the AMA PCM certification. If a credential matters for your CV, take LinkedIn's free exam; pay for a course for what it teaches.

Get it employer-sponsored

Most of these courses fit an employer's training budget. Bring your manager the price per seat, the curriculum, the format, and what you will change in your campaigns afterwards. For a team, ask about group terms: Jellyfish runs private sessions from 5 people, CXL annual team plans cost up to 20% less per seat, and the AMA gives 10% off from 3 tickets.

Read the refund terms before you subscribe

Subscriptions are where buyers get caught. At CXL, only the annual plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee; monthly and quarterly plans are not refundable, and a public review complains about a refused refund. B2Linked's page shows no refund policy. Pay monthly only if you will use the content within a month or two.

Budget for practice, not just tuition

LinkedIn is an expensive channel, and you learn it by spending. Agency guides mention a minimum of around $10 a day per campaign, and some advise $1,500 to $3,000 a month to get useful data. Treat those as rough guides, but plan a test budget alongside the course: forum veterans say hands-on testing matters more than certificates.

Check the price on the official page

Course prices change and aggregators lag. Some third-party pages list prices that differ from the provider's own, and some course pages do not show a standalone price at all. Open the official page, and for live sessions check that a date is actually scheduled.
  • Take LinkedIn's free Introduction to LinkedIn Ads and the Fundamentals exam first.
  • Decide whether you need a method (video) or feedback on your account (coaching).
  • Check that the curriculum covers targeting, bidding, conversion tracking and testing.
  • Confirm the price per seat on the official page, and any team discount.
  • Read the refund terms before buying a subscription.
  • Plan a test budget to practice right after the course.
  • Bring your manager a one-page case: price, curriculum, expected results.
FAQ

LinkedIn Ads course: the questions people ask

  • What is the best LinkedIn Ads course?

For a marketer who already runs campaigns, CXL's Validate and scale your LinkedIn ads course, taught by AJ Wilcox, has the deepest curriculum we compared: 29 lessons over 4 h 10 min. For feedback on your own account, B2Linked's coaching tier ($279 a month) adds live audits. For a beginner who wants a live class, Noble Desktop ($425) or Jellyfish in the UK (£499 ex VAT).

  • Is there a free LinkedIn Ads course?

Yes. LinkedIn Marketing Labs is free and official: its Introduction to LinkedIn Ads takes 47 minutes, and it offers several free certifications, including Advertising Fundamentals. It is enough to launch a first campaign. Paid courses earn their price on strategy, budgets, bidding, testing and feedback.

  • Is there an official LinkedIn Ads certification?

Yes, and it is free: the Advertising Fundamentals certification sits in LinkedIn Marketing Labs, which costs nothing. Check the exam rules on Marketing Labs before you start. LinkedIn also offers certifications in marketing strategy, content and creative design, and measurement, plus an Ads Agency Certification for agencies. Paid courses give their own certificate of completion, not this certification.

  • How much does a LinkedIn Ads course cost?

From $150 to $1,000 for a one-off course in this ranking: $150 to $275 for the two-hour AMA session, $425 at Noble Desktop, £499 ex VAT at Jellyfish, $1,000 at DMAnc (currently $500 for the prerecorded option). Subscriptions run $79 to $279 a month at B2Linked, and CXL's All-Access starts at $289 a month. Our tip: a short subscription can be cheaper than a one-off course if you binge the content in a month.

  • How long does it take to learn LinkedIn Ads?

Plan an hour for LinkedIn's free introduction and an hour per certification exam, then 2 to 6 hours for a paid course: 2 hours at the AMA, 3.5 hours of material at B2Linked, about 4 hours at CXL, 6 hours at Noble Desktop, a full day at Jellyfish. The real learning happens in the weeks after, running campaigns on a real budget.

  • Will my employer pay for a LinkedIn Ads course?

Often, yes, if you make the case. Bring the price per seat, the curriculum and what you will change in your campaigns. For a team, ask about group terms: private Jellyfish sessions from 5 people, CXL annual team plans up to 20% cheaper per seat, 10% off from 3 tickets at the AMA.

  • Do I need ad budget to take a LinkedIn Ads course?

Not to take it, but to make it stick. LinkedIn is an expensive channel: agency guides mention around $10 a day per campaign as a minimum. Plan a small test budget for the weeks after the course, and practice on your own account rather than on screenshots.

  • Is a LinkedIn Ads certificate worth it for employers?

A certificate of completion proves you took a course, not that you can run profitable campaigns. LinkedIn's free certification is the recognized credential; results on real campaigns count more than either. Use a paid course to get better at the work, and show its results.
