What is the best link in bio tool in 2026?

Nine tools scored for your first link page, based on what you need it to do: show links, sell, plug into Instagram, or live on your own domain.

The short answer depends on the job. If you only need a clean list of links, free Linktree does it in five minutes. If you sell a course or coaching from day one, Stan Store takes zero platform fee for $29 a month. If you want a store, media kit and email list without paying upfront, Beacons gives you the most for free, but keeps 9% of your sales. And if you want a page on your own domain for almost nothing, Carrd does it for $19 a year.

The 9 link in bio tools compared

This market splits three ways. Plain link pages (Linktree, Campsite.bio, Milkshake) show your links and some stats. Creator storefronts (Beacons, Stan Store, Komi) take payments. And the rest are attached to something bigger: a one-page site builder (Carrd), an ads tool (Shorby) or a post scheduler (Later). The "Seller fee" column tells you right away what each tool keeps from a sale.

Real cost

What you actually pay at each sales level

The sticker price tells you very little. What matters is subscription plus seller fee in the month you make sales. We ran the numbers for three situations using official prices. Stripe processing, usually around 2.9% plus $0.30 per sale, applies in every case and isn't counted here.

How we compared

How we compared and ranked

We started from someone with no tool yet. What do I pay in a month when I actually sell? Is the page on my own domain? What will box me in a year from now? For each tool we read the official pricing page and the feature list per plan, then the harshest user reviews: surprise charges, locked accounts, slow payouts, vendor branding that won't go away.

A tool only makes the ranking if its official pricing page shows a readable price. Taplink, Lnk.Bio and Bio.link are well known, but we couldn't read their official pricing, so they stay unranked. Later already has a full review on our site: we reuse its 3.0 score as is.

Best all-in-one to start without paying

Beacons

4.2/5

Beacons hands you more for free than anyone else here. The free plan includes a digital product store, five pages, a media kit you can send to brands, and 50 emails a month to your list. If you're just starting, it's the cheapest way to find out whether your audience will buy before you commit to a subscription.

The catch is the seller fee: 9% of every sale on Free, and still 9% on Creator at $10 a month. It only drops to 0% on Creator Plus, at $30 a month ($25 billed annually). Do the math: once you pass about $333 a month in sales, Creator Plus is cheaper than staying free. Creator also includes a domain for the first year and raises email to 500 a month.

Standout features
  • Store, media kit and email on the free plan
  • 0% seller fee from Creator Plus
  • Fee-free invoices from Creator
+Pros
  • ✓Most complete free plan we compared
  • ✓Clear break-even for upgrading
  • ✓Domain included for the first year on Creator
−Cons
  • ✗9% taken from sales on Free and Creator
  • ✗Paying users complain Beacons branding still shows up
  • ✗A domain bought through Beacons is hard to move out
Verdict

The best starting point if you plan to sell but don't know how much yet. Move to Creator Plus once sales pass about $330 a month, and buy your domain yourself.

Best for a simple list of links

Linktree

4.1/5

Linktree is the one your followers already recognize, and that counts: people know where to tap. Setup takes minutes, the templates look tidy, and the free plan is enough to list your links. For a first account, nothing is simpler.

The limits show up as you grow. Linktree offers no custom domain on any plan, so your page stays on linktr.ee. Its branding only goes away on Premium, the top plan. Paid pricing is shown at sign-up in your currency: check it before picking Linktree to sell. Support gets credit for fast replies, but users describe unexpected billing and losing access after changing their email.

Standout features
  • Live in minutes
  • Free plan covers a list of links
  • Clean ready-made templates
+Pros
  • ✓Easiest tool we compared (4.5)
  • ✓The name followers recognize
  • ✓Wide integration list (4.3)
−Cons
  • ✗No custom domain on any plan
  • ✗Linktree branding removable only on Premium
  • ✗Account access sometimes lost after an email change
Verdict

The right pick for a bio that only lists links. The moment you want your own domain, look at Carrd or Campsite.bio. Already on Linktree? Our switching guide below covers moving without losing clicks.

Best for selling courses and coaching

Stan Store

3.9/5

Stan Store turns your bio into a checkout. Creator, at $29 a month, includes the store, booking, unlimited courses, memberships and Instagram auto-DM replies. Stan takes no platform fee: you only pay Stripe or PayPal processing. Reviews keep praising how easy it is for non-technical people.

The trade-off: you pay $29 before your first sale, with no free plan and a 14-day trial. Discount codes, upsells, pay-in-installments (Klarna, Afterpay), affiliates, email marketing and ad pixels are all in Creator Pro at $99. On payouts, Stan can hold funds for up to 12 business days, so plan your cash flow.

Standout features
  • Store, booking and courses on Creator
  • 0% platform fee
  • Instagram auto-DM replies
+Pros
  • ✓Cheaper than a 9% fee past about $322 a month in sales
  • ✓Very easy for non-technical sellers
  • ✓Responsive support in user reviews
−Cons
  • ✗$29 a month before your first sale
  • ✗Discount codes and email only at $99
  • ✗Payouts held up to 12 business days
Verdict

The right pick when you already have an offer. Nothing to sell yet? Start on Beacons Free and come here once sales pass $300 a month.

Best for a page on your own domain

Carrd

3.9/5

Carrd isn't strictly a link in bio tool. It's a one-page site builder, and that's the point. You build your link page, then add an intro, a video, a contact form. Pricing is yearly: $9 a year removes the Carrd badge, $19 a year adds your domain, forms and analytics.

Add a domain from a registrar at $10 to $15 a year and your own branded page costs about $30 to $35 a year, all in. Nothing else we compared comes close. The trade-off: no built-in checkout, and you assemble the page block by block, which takes an extra hour compared with Linktree.

Standout features
  • Billed yearly, not monthly
  • Your domain from $19 a year
  • Forms and video on the same page
+Pros
  • ✓Best value we compared (4.8)
  • ✓Branded page for about $30 to $35 a year
  • ✓7-day Pro trial with no card
−Cons
  • ✗No built-in checkout
  • ✗Page built block by block
  • ✗Lighter support (3.3)
Verdict

The best pick if you'd rather own your page than rent it. Need to sell? Link to Stan or Beacons from your Carrd page.

5
Best Linktree-style page with more freedom

Campsite.bio

3.7/5

Campsite.bio looks like Linktree with the missing piece added: your own domain from Pro, at $7 a month. Design is highly customizable, and the free plan is generous for a list of links. Users mostly praise the layout freedom.

Check how long stats are kept before you pick. Free shows 14 days of history, Pro 60 days, and unlimited history with export only comes on Pro+, at $24 a month. You buy the domain separately from a registrar, around $10 to $15 a year. The review sample is small, and one user describes support going quiet after an email change.

Standout features
  • Your domain from $7 a month
  • Deep design control
  • Several profiles on one account
+Pros
  • ✓Does what Linktree won't: custom domains
  • ✓Generous free plan for links
  • ✓Extra profiles at $1.50 a month
−Cons
  • ✗14 days of analytics on Free
  • ✗No built-in checkout
  • ✗Support can be hard to reach (3.0)
Verdict

The right pick for a monthly link page on your own domain. If you'd rather pay yearly and do more than a list, Carrd costs less.

6
Best for brand deals, musicians and video creators

Komi

3.6/5

Komi is built for creators who work with brands: a polished page, products, and a clean way to present your audience to partners. Starter is free, but Komi takes a fee on your sales there, and its pricing page doesn't show the rate.

Pro, at $16 a month and 20% less billed annually, fixes that in one go: 0% on digital products, your own domain, Komi branding removed and unlimited email. If you sell a little every month, it's one of the cheapest fee-free subscriptions we compared. One practical detail: you connect your domain by emailing support.

Standout features
  • 0% on digital products from $16 a month
  • Custom domain and no branding on Pro
  • Unlimited email on Pro
+Pros
  • ✓Among the cheapest fee-free plans
  • ✓Page designed for brand partners
  • ✓20% off billed annually
−Cons
  • ✗Free-plan fee rate not shown
  • ✗Domain set up through support
  • ✗Less known than Linktree or Beacons
Verdict

A strong pick if you sell digital products and want a page that looks good to brands. Go Pro as soon as you sell: the free plan hides its rate.

Best for building everything on your phone

Milkshake

3.5/5

Milkshake works like an app: you build your page as swipeable cards, right on your phone. The free plan gives unlimited links, 30 days of analytics and even file sales through Stripe. You can run up to five sites from one account.

The limit is the format itself. Editing only happens in the app, which gets tedious on a richer page. Your own domain only comes with Pro+, at $99.99 a year, and sales fees aren't spelled out. Good tip: Lite at $2.99 a month is enough to remove Milkshake branding.

Standout features
  • Built entirely on mobile
  • Unlimited links on Free
  • Up to five sites per account
+Pros
  • ✓Complete free plan to start
  • ✓Branding removed for $2.99 a month
  • ✓Very easy (4.4)
−Cons
  • ✗Editing only in the app
  • ✗Custom domain only on Pro+ ($99.99 a year)
  • ✗Sales fees not spelled out
Verdict

A good first tool if your phone is your office. Once you want your own domain or a richer page, Carrd does more for less.

Best for paid ads and messaging links

Shorby

3.4/5

Shorby is for people who pay for ads. Its specialty is links that open a WhatsApp or Messenger chat directly, plus ad pixels, the small snippets that let you retarget visitors of your page with an ad later.

You pay from day one. Rocket, at $12 a month billed annually, caps your page at 10 links. Pixels, content feeds and your own domain take Pro, at $24 a month billed annually. For a bio that only lists links, that's too much; for an ad campaign, it's exactly what the others lack.

Standout features
  • Direct WhatsApp and Messenger links
  • Ad pixels on Pro
  • Custom domain on Pro
+Pros
  • ✓Built to measure paid traffic
  • ✓Annual discount
  • ✓One-tap chat links
−Cons
  • ✗No free plan
  • ✗10 links per page on Rocket
  • ✗Support scores 2.6
Verdict

Only worth it if you run ads or sell through chat apps. Starting with no ad budget? Take a free plan.

Best if you already schedule posts with Later

Later Linkin.bio

3.0/5

Linkin.bio is the link page inside Later, the post scheduler. It mirrors your Instagram feed: each image sends visitors to the link you attached to it, with up to five links per post from Growth. You can import a Linktree page, set the title and description Google shows, add affiliate links and connect your Mailchimp list.

Our 3.0 score comes from our full Later review. Paying $18.75 a month for a scheduler just to get a link page makes no sense: Linkin.bio is only worth it if you already use Later. Links on an image only show if they're attached to a post, and connecting TikTok requires a Business account and 1,000 followers. Reviews on billing and cancellation are rough: support scores 2.2.

Standout features
  • Link page tied to your Instagram feed
  • Linktree page import
  • Editable title and description for Google
+Pros
  • ✓Included in every Later plan
  • ✓Five links per post from Growth
  • ✓Mailchimp list connected
−Cons
  • ✗Paying for a scheduler to get a link page
  • ✗Support scores 2.2 on billing issues
  • ✗TikTok needs a Business account and 1,000 followers
Verdict

A bonus for Later customers, not a reason to subscribe. If you don't already use Later, any other tool on this list does more for less.

Setup

Six setup moves that save you later

When you start from scratch, the costly mistakes happen on day one: a domain bought in the wrong place, a bio pointing to an address you don't control, stats you never keep. These six moves keep you from redoing everything a year from now.

01

Put your own site's address in your bio, not the tool's

Most useful

Create an address on your site like yoursite.com/instagram that redirects to your link page. Your bio points there, never straight at the tool. The day you switch tools, you change one redirect in a minute instead of editing every profile.

It also protects you from shutdowns. Koji closed in 2024 after Linktree bought it, and Bento announced it would close in 2026: their users were left with dead links in every bio.

Cost
Free if you have a site
Time
Ten minutes
02

Buy your domain yourself, from a registrar

If you want a branded page, buy the domain from a registrar ($10 to $15 a year) and connect it to the tool. Beacons users report that domains bought through the platform are hard to transfer out when they leave.

Cost
$10 to $15 a year
04

Add tracking tags to your links

UTM tags are short labels added to the end of a link (?utm_source=instagram) that tell Google Analytics where a visitor came from. With them you know what your bio really brings in, whatever the tool, and you keep that history even if the tool only stores 14 or 30 days of stats.

Cost
Free
05

Check your account email before you change it

Linktree and Campsite.bio users describe losing access, or watching their page go down, after changing the account email. Before you switch, confirm the new address receives mail and keep the old one active for a few weeks.

Risk
Page locked out
06

On TikTok, check whether you even have the link field

TikTok's website field doesn't show for everyone: it depends on account type and follower count. Later, for instance, requires a Business account and 1,000 followers to connect TikTok. Until then, put your link page on Instagram or YouTube and send TikTok followers there.

Well-known tools we didn't rank

These names come up in every search. Either we couldn't read their official pricing, they shut down, or they need technical skills. Here's what to know.

02

Koji, Bento, Fingertip: the tools that shut down

Closed

Linktree bought Koji, which closed in 2024. Bento was also acquired and announced its closure for 2026, and Fingertip closed in 2026. If your bio still points at one of them, your links are dead or soon will be.

Our advice: that's the best reason to keep your own site's address in your bio.

03

LinkStack: the free option you host yourself

Open source

LinkStack is open-source software: you install it on your own server or with a host, and your data stays with you. The software is free; you only pay for hosting.

Our advice: keep it for people who can maintain a server. For everyone else, a page on your own site does the same job.

How to choose

Three questions to pick your link in bio tool

You don't need to compare nine tools. Answer these three questions in order and the choice mostly makes itself.

Will you sell, and how much?

Nothing to sell: a free plan (Linktree, Campsite.bio, Milkshake) is enough. A few sales: Beacons Free to try, or Komi Pro at $16 a month with no fee on digital products. Past $300 a month: Stan or Beacons Creator Plus, because a 9% fee now costs more than a subscription.

Do you want your own domain?

If yes, skip Linktree, which doesn't offer it on any plan. Carrd is cheapest ($19 a year), Campsite.bio is closest to Linktree ($7 a month), and Beacons includes a domain for the first year on Creator.

Do you already pay for something that does it?

If you schedule with Later, Linkin.bio is already included. If you have a website, a simple links page on your site does the job with no subscription. Don't add another tool for a feature you already pay for.

  • Cost in a month when you sell, not just the starting price
  • Price to remove the vendor's badge
  • How long analytics history is kept
  • A domain you bought, not the platform
  • Your own site's address in your bio, redirecting to the tool
FAQ · 8 questions

Link in bio tools: frequently asked questions

  • What is the best free link in bio tool?

For links only, free Linktree and Campsite.bio are enough. To sell without a subscription, Beacons Free is the most complete, but keeps 9% of each sale. On mobile, Milkshake is free with unlimited links. Watch how long stats are kept: 14 days on Campsite.bio, 30 days on Milkshake.

  • Is Linktree free?

Yes, Linktree's free plan is enough to list your links, with no time limit. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) show their pricing at sign-up, in your currency. Two things to know before you pay: no plan supports your own domain, and Linktree branding only comes off on Premium.

  • Can I add multiple links to my Instagram bio without a tool?

Yes, Instagram allows up to five links in your bio. But only one shows, the rest sit behind "+ X links", and you can't style them or track clicks properly. A link in bio tool still earns its place once you have more than two links or something to sell.

  • How do I add a link to my TikTok bio without 1,000 followers?

TikTok's website field depends on your account type and follower count, and it doesn't show for everyone. Switch to a business account to see whether it appears; if not, point followers to your Instagram or YouTube profile, where your link page is visible.

  • Which link in bio tool should I pick to sell with no fees?

It depends on what you sell each month. Below roughly $180 in sales, Beacons Free (9%) costs less than Komi Pro at $16. Above that, Komi Pro is cheapest for digital products. Around $322, Stan at $29 beats Beacons Free, and around $333, so does Beacons Creator Plus at $30. Factor in your payment processor's cut too: none of these tools removes it.

  • Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, except on Linktree. Carrd supports it from $19 a year, Campsite.bio from $7 a month, Komi and Shorby on Pro, Milkshake on Pro+, and Beacons includes one for the first year on Creator. Buy the domain yourself from a registrar for about $10 to $15 a year so it stays yours if you switch.

  • Does a link in bio page help you get found on Google?

Barely, because the page lives on the vendor's domain: their address gains visibility, not yours. When you start from scratch, that's the simplest case for Carrd on your own domain ($19 a year) or a page on your own site. Later Linkin.bio at least lets you set the title and description shown.

  • Linktree vs Beacons vs Stan: which should I choose?

Linktree to list links simply. Beacons to get everything without paying upfront, accepting 9% on sales. Stan to sell courses or coaching with no platform fee from $29 a month. The tipping point from Beacons Free to Stan sits around $322 in monthly sales.
