Overview

What the Claude grtwo-docs connector changes when you share work

You draft something with Claude, a brief, a meeting summary, a one-page proposal, and then comes the tedious part: copying it somewhere, formatting it, finding a way to share it. With this connector, Claude turns the draft into a grtwo-docs document from the conversation and hands you back a link. The publisher's documentation now carries the name Gryz and gives a Gryz address for new setups, while the directory sheet keeps the grtwo-docs name.

A link to send in seconds. A consultant finishes a workshop recap with Claude and wants the client to read it today. publish_document puts the Markdown or HTML online as a new document, public with a shareable link or private in the dashboard, and returns its address.

A correction without a second copy. The client spots an error in the figures. update_document replaces the content, type or title of the existing document by its slug, so the link you already sent shows the fixed version.

A tidy library. list_documents shows what the account owns, newest first, get_document brings one back into the conversation, and delete_document removes a test page you no longer need.

What it does not do: an update overwrites the whole text, it never appends to it, so an edit you made outside the conversation can be lost. Deletion is permanent. Each publish creates a separate document, even with an identical title. Nothing happens on its own either: Claude publishes when you ask, never when a file changes elsewhere. For scheduled publishing you would look at an automation tool, a different job covered from the Integrations hub.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary in one minute

Five terms you will meet while connecting grtwo-docs.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already own, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named action a connector gives Claude. Claude picks the ones it needs; the directory sheet lists each by its exact name.
Authorization
The service's own sign-in screen, where you give Claude the access it will use. Granted once per person, and you can revoke it.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it goes ahead with a change to your account, shown in the chat right when it matters.
MCP
The shared standard behind connectors: it is what lets an assistant like Claude work with an outside service such as grtwo-docs.
Connect

Connect grtwo-docs to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find grtwo-docs

Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look for grtwo-docs in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable the connector before each member can sign in.

  2. 02

    Sign in to your account

Click Connect on its row. Your browser opens the publisher's own sign-in page, where you log in with your grtwo-docs account. If the link ever breaks, use Disconnect and connect again.

  3. 03

    Read what you authorize

Read the authorization screen before you accept. It belongs to the service, not to Claude, and it decides what the access covers. You can also withdraw that access later from your account on the publisher's side.

Tools

The 5 tools, sorted by what they do

grtwo-docs gives Claude 5 tools: 2 that read your account, 3 that change something in it.

Two tools read, three change your account. Names stay exactly as Claude displays them.

  • 2 read
  • 3 write

What Claude reads (2)

2 tools

Two tools that look at your documents without changing them.

get_document

Pulls the content and metadata of one document, located by its slug, back into the conversation so Claude can quote it, check it or build on it.

When it helps
you want Claude to reread last week's proposal before drafting a follow-up to the same client.

list_documents

Shows every document your account owns, newest first and page by page, which surfaces the slugs the other tools work from.

When it helps
you no longer remember what you called a page and want to see the most recent ones before picking.

What Claude changes (3)

3 tools

Three tools that publish, overwrite or remove documents. No source describes a confirmation specific to any of them, so the general rule below applies.

publish_document

Approval: see the rule

Puts new Markdown or HTML online under your account and returns its URL and slug. A public document gets a link anyone on the web can open; a private one stays in your dashboard.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a confirmation for this tool, so the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
a trainer turns the session notes drafted with Claude into a page for participants.
Watch out
every call creates a separate document, so asking twice gives you two.

Sourcegrtwo.app · September 9, 2026 ↗

update_document

Approval: see the rule

Swaps the content, type or title of a document you own, addressed by its slug. The old text is replaced wholesale rather than extended.

What Claude asks for
the publisher documents no confirmation here, so it falls under the default rule described further down.
When it helps
a figure was wrong in a shared report and the link you sent should show the corrected version.
Watch out
anything edited elsewhere since is overwritten.

Sourcegrtwo.app · September 9, 2026 ↗

delete_document

Approval: see the rule

Removes a document you own for good, found by its slug. The publisher says it cannot be undone.

What Claude asks for
no source spells out a confirmation for this deletion, so the general rule on approvals is the one that applies.
When it helps
clearing out a test page or a draft that went public by mistake.

Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before any action it carries out on an account for you. That covers publishing, rewriting and deleting here, since no source sets a different rule for these three tools.

On Team and Enterprise, workspace owners decide whether members may let some actions through without being asked every time. They can also limit what a connector may do for the whole organization, keeping the reading tools and closing the writing ones, for instance, and nobody overrides that from their own account. Claude works with your rights and nothing more: the publisher's tools only touch documents you own.

Plans

Which plans it is available on

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows plan availability. Connector by connector, that answer is published nowhere: a real gap in the catalogue.

The general rule is published. Remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and on Team and Enterprise an Owner or Primary Owner first enables a connector for the organization so that members can connect. For the up-to-date status of this one, look at the grtwo-docs sheet in the official directory. What the publisher asks on its own side is a separate question, covered in the limits below.

Limits

Where the Claude grtwo-docs connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you; nothing gets published on its own when a file changes somewhere else.

Only the publisher documents this connector; Claude's help center has no article on it. The publisher's documentation, under the Gryz name, gives a Gryz address for new setups and says the former grtwo address still works for assistants already set up with it. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it neither chooses the tools a publisher exposes nor guarantees how they behave, so connect it only if you trust the publisher.

Two official sources disagree

Do you need a paid subscription with the publisher to use this connector?

What this page followsWe follow the publisher's setup page, updated on September 9, 2026: it is the more recent text and it describes the service as it runs today, while the sheet description looks older. Both are about the publisher's own offers, not about Claude plans. Check your Gryz account if in doubt.

FAQ

Questions about the Claude grtwo-docs connector

01What can Claude do with the grtwo-docs connector?
Claude can publish a new document from Markdown or HTML and give you its link, list the documents your account owns, open one by its slug, rewrite its content, type or title, and delete it. In practice you write or refine something in the conversation, then ask Claude to put it online as a public link or a private page in your dashboard. Every action applies to documents owned by the account you connected.
02Can Claude publish, change or delete my documents?
Yes, three of the five tools change your account. One publishes a new document, one overwrites the content, type or title of an existing document, and one deletes a document permanently, which the publisher says cannot be undone. An update replaces the whole text rather than adding to it. A public document can be opened by anyone with the link, so a change or a deletion reaches every reader at once.
03Does Claude ask before it publishes or deletes?
By default, yes: Claude asks for confirmation before each action it carries out on an account for you. No source describes a confirmation specific to publishing, rewriting or deleting in grtwo-docs, so this default rule is what covers those three tools. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without being asked, and they can block the writing tools for the whole organization. The publisher marks those three tools as able to change publicly reachable links.
04Which Claude plans is the grtwo-docs connector available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the directory sheets shows it. The general rule says remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and that on Team and Enterprise an Owner or Primary Owner enables them first. The connector's sheet in the directory is the only place showing its current status for your account. What the publisher requires on its side is a separate matter.
05Does Claude see every document in our grtwo-docs workspace?
No. The publisher describes each tool as acting on documents owned by the signed-in account, and Claude works with the rights of the person who connected and nothing more. A colleague's documents stay out of reach unless they connect their own account. Listing returns your documents newest first, page by page. The publisher marks the two reading tools as read-only, and on Team and Enterprise, owners can also restrict what the connector may do for the whole organization.
06Does an update from Claude overwrite edits made elsewhere?
Yes. The publisher says an update replaces the content, type or title rather than appending to it, so whatever was there before the call is overwritten. If you edit a page by hand and then ask Claude for a change, have Claude read the current version first, so the rewrite starts from the text that is actually online. Running the same update twice gives the same result, the publisher adds.
07Should I use Claude or an automation tool with grtwo-docs?
They do different jobs, so this is not a ranking. Claude with grtwo-docs fits writing that you shape in a conversation and then want online with one request, plus quick corrections afterwards. An automation tool fits publishing that should happen on a schedule or follow an event elsewhere without anyone asking. The connector never acts by itself, so anything unattended belongs on the automation side. Each publish request also creates a separate document, so a repeated request gives two.
