Overview

What changes once Claude can reach Reclaim.ai

Reclaim.ai sits on top of your Google Calendar or Outlook calendar and manages time for you. With the connector, you ask Claude about your week, a meeting slot or a busy day, and it works through Reclaim to answer and to rearrange. The sheet states that calendar changes are drafted for you to review before they are applied, which is the key difference with a plain calendar link.

See the week before it runs you. get_schedule reads your events, free windows, focus time and conflicts, and focus_stats tells you how much deep work you actually got.

Find a slot without the back-and-forth. find_open_time, suggested_times and search_contacts check attendees' availability and propose windows.

Change the calendar, with a preview. add_event, reschedule_event and cancel_event prepare changes, get_pending_changes shows them, and apply_changes commits them once you agree.

What stays unclear: thirteen of the listed tools have no description in any source, whatever their names suggest, so this page says nothing about what they do or what they change. Nothing runs on its own either: Claude acts only when you ask. If you want calendar events copied into another tool every time they change, that is an automation job, covered on our Reclaim.ai Make integration page, a different trade.

Vocabulary

Five words before you connect

The vocabulary Claude uses around this connector, in one minute.

Connector
A link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named thing the connector lets Claude do. Claude chooses the tools it needs by itself, and the directory lists them by name.
Authorization
The Reclaim.ai sign-in screen where you hand Claude the access it will use. Given once per person, and it can be taken back.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it does something that changes your account, shown in the chat at the right moment.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Reclaim.ai.
Connect

Connect Reclaim.ai to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Reclaim.ai in Claude

Open Claude's settings, go to Customize then Connectors, and look for Reclaim.ai in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector first; each member then signs in on their own.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on the Reclaim.ai row, then sign in to Reclaim.ai in the window the service opens itself, not inside Claude. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and connect again.

  3. 03

    Read the authorization screen

Check what the screen lists before you accept. It belongs to Reclaim.ai, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can also withdraw that access later from your Reclaim.ai account.

Tools

The 28 tools, split by what they do

Reclaim.ai gives Claude 28 tools: 7 that read your account, 8 that change something in it, and 13 no official source describes.

Three groups: what Claude reads, what it changes, and what no official source describes. Tool names stay as Claude shows them.

What Claude can read in Reclaim.ai

7 tools

Seven tools that read your schedule, availability and focus data.

find_open_time

One of the tools behind Reclaim's meeting-time finder: Claude checks attendee availability against your calendar and brings back windows where everyone is free.

When it helps
you need thirty minutes with two colleagues this week and do not want to compare calendars by hand.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

focus_stats

Surfaces productivity insights from your calendar, such as how much focus time you actually got, so Claude can tell you where your week went.

When it helps
on Friday you ask how much deep work survived the meetings.
Watch out
the figures only cover the calendar Reclaim is connected to.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

get_pending_changes

Shows what Reclaim has drafted for your calendar but not yet applied, so you can see the proposal before it lands.

When it helps
you asked Claude to clear Friday and want to see the proposal first.
Watch out
nothing shown here is on your calendar yet.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

get_schedule

Reads your daily or weekly calendar through Reclaim: events, availability windows, focus time, conflicts and priority commitments.

When it helps
first thing in the morning, you ask what your day looks like and where the conflicts are.
Watch out
it reads through Reclaim, so only calendars connected there show up.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

search_contacts

Looks up people so Claude knows who to include when it searches for a meeting slot, as part of Reclaim's meeting-time finder.

When it helps
you remember a first name only and want the right Alex in the invite.
Watch out
check the name Claude picked before it lands in an invitation.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

suggested_times

Recommends meeting windows that fit the participants' schedules, a second angle on the same meeting-time capability Reclaim describes.

When it helps
you want three proposals for a customer call rather than one forced slot.
Watch out
a suggestion is not a booking; nothing is added until an event is created.

Sourcehelp.reclaim.ai · June 11, 2026 ↗

suggested_times_for_event

Also part of Reclaim's meeting-time finder: Claude uses it to recommend windows while coordinating schedules across participants.

When it helps
a weekly sync keeps colliding with other meetings and you want better options.
Watch out
Reclaim says it respects working hours and preferences, so some windows may never be offered.

Not documented

13 tools

Thirteen names the directory publishes with no description anywhere. Undocumented means no source says what they do.

add_video_conference

No official source describes this tool: the directory publishes its name and nothing else. We do not read a purpose into the name, however clear it may look, and this note stops there.

Watch out
the general approval rule described below still covers it.

create_reclaim_task

Only the name of this one is public, with no sentence from the publisher or from Anthropic behind it. Reclaim's Claude article is organized around events, meeting times, schedule reviews and work sessions, and none of those sections describes it, so whether it changes anything stays open.

Watch out
treat it like any other tool; the default approval rule applies.

delete_reclaim_task

The publisher's documentation, as read for this page, never mentions this entry. No source says what it touches or whether its effect can be undone, so this page does not describe it, however the name reads.

Watch out
the approvals section further down is what applies to it.

get_at_risk_tasks

This tool shows up in the directory list without a single line of description. Without a documented description, any explanation here would be a guess dressed up as a fact, and this page does not publish guesses.

Watch out
the general approval rule described below still covers it.

get_event_details

No source documents this one: the directory gives its name, and the publisher's article stays silent. If Reclaim documents it later, this note will say what it does; until a source describes it, nothing here does.

Watch out
treat it like any other tool; the default approval rule applies.

get_org_relationships

Its name is listed on the directory sheet; its behavior is documented nowhere. Relying on it means relying on behavior no documentation has written down, which is worth keeping in mind before trusting an answer built on it.

Watch out
the approvals section further down is what applies to it.

get_suggested_tasks

There is no official text on this entry beyond the fact that it exists. The directory lists it among the Reclaim tools Claude may call, and that listing, with no description attached, is the only public trace of it.

Watch out
the general approval rule described below still covers it.

get_user_preferences

We found no source for this one, neither in the publisher's help pages nor in Claude's. When a description appears on Reclaim's help center or on the directory sheet, this note will change; for now no source lets it say more.

Watch out
treat it like any other tool; the default approval rule applies.

get_zoom_meeting_summary

Anthropic's sheet names it, the publisher's article skips it, and that is the whole record. No official text describes its output, so check any answer Claude builds on it against the original before acting on it.

Watch out
the approvals section further down is what applies to it.

search_reclaim_tasks

A listed name, an empty description: that is all the public record holds for this tool. In Reclaim's work-session area, the documented tools are start_task and log_task; this one has no sentence of its own in any source.

Watch out
the general approval rule described below still covers it.

stop_task

Neither documentation covers this entry, so its purpose stays unknown here. Sitting in the list next to documented tools does not make it documented, so no capability is attributed to it on this page.

Watch out
treat it like any other tool; the default approval rule applies.

top_contacts

This page has no sourced sentence to offer on this tool, only its listing. It shares that situation with the other tools grouped in this section, apart from the ones a source actually describes.

Watch out
the approvals section further down is what applies to it.

update_reclaim_task

Unlike its neighbours in the list, this one has never been described officially. Until the publisher documents it, the safest reading is none at all: when an answer depends on it, ask Claude which tool it used.

Watch out
the general approval rule described below still covers it.
Approvals

What Claude checks with you first

By default, Claude stops and asks before each action it takes on an account for someone. Reclaim adds its own layer: calendar changes are drafted, previewed, then applied.

On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without being asked each time. They can also limit what a connector may do for the whole organization, for example leaving reads open and closing writes. Nobody overrides that from a personal account. Claude also works with the rights of the person who connected, nothing more: Claude reaches the calendars your Reclaim account reaches, no others.

Plans

Which plans include it

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows plan availability. The answer per connector is published nowhere.

The published rule is general: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens a connector for the organization before members can each connect. For the live state of this one, check the Reclaim.ai sheet in the official directory.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you, so nothing starts when an invitation arrives or a meeting runs over.

Everything here comes from Reclaim's help article and the directory sheet: no Claude help page covers this connector. The badge in the directory is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on each sheet that it neither picks a publisher's tools nor guarantees their behavior. Connect it because you already trust Reclaim with your calendar, and review each preview before letting changes land. Other scheduling apps are in our Integrations hub.

FAQ

Questions about the Claude Reclaim.ai connector

01What can Claude do with the Reclaim.ai connector?
Claude can read your schedule through Reclaim, find meeting times, and change your calendar after you review the proposal. Seven documented tools read your calendar, availability, pending changes and focus statistics. Eight change things: adding, updating, rescheduling and cancelling events, answering invitations, applying drafted changes, and starting or logging work sessions. Thirteen more tools, around Reclaim tasks, video links and meeting summaries, have no description in any source, so this page stays silent on them.
02Can Claude move or cancel meetings on my calendar?
Yes. Documented tools let Claude create events, update attendees, reschedule meetings, cancel events and respond to invitations. The directory sheet says these calendar changes are drafted for you to review, with a visual preview, before they are applied, and a separate tool applies them. Claude can also start a work session or log time on a task. Nothing documented deletes Reclaim tasks; the tool with that name has no description anywhere.
03Does Claude ask before it changes my calendar?
Two layers apply. Claude's default rule is to ask before any action it takes on an account for someone. On top of that, Reclaim drafts calendar changes so you can preview them before they are applied, and describes its workflow as approval-based. No source ties a specific confirmation to a single tool. On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners can also restrict writes for everyone or let some actions through without a prompt.
04Which plans is it available on?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The general rule is that remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner or Primary Owner enabling them first on Team and Enterprise. On Reclaim's side, you need a Reclaim account with a connected calendar. The directory sheet shows the live state for your account.
05Does Claude see my colleagues' calendars?
Claude works with the rights of the person who connected, through that person's Reclaim account, and nothing beyond. Reclaim describes analyzing attendee availability to find meeting times, which is what it needs to propose a slot. To cut access, disconnect Reclaim in Claude's connector settings. Your calendar stays linked to Reclaim until you revoke that separately with Google or Microsoft, and an owner can remove the connector for everyone at once.
06What happens to my events if I disconnect Reclaim?
Disconnecting only removes Claude's access to your Reclaim account. Reclaim's own calendar connection stays active until you revoke it in your Google or Microsoft account settings, which is a separate step. Events Reclaim created may also remain on your calendar unless you delete them by hand. So if you are leaving Reclaim altogether, plan three moves: disconnect in Claude, revoke with your calendar provider, then clean up any leftover events by hand.
07Claude or an automation tool for Reclaim.ai?
They do different jobs, so it depends on the use. Claude is for planning you steer in the moment: what does tomorrow look like, find thirty minutes with two people, make Friday meeting-free and show me the changes first. It never starts by itself. If you want every new calendar event copied into a project tool or a spreadsheet without anyone asking, that is a scheduled flow, which an automation platform runs.
