Claude Taskrabbit connectorWhat Claude can do with Taskrabbit.
The Claude Taskrabbit connector exposes 3 tools: 3 read, 0 write, 0 undocumented. They check whether a home service is offered where you live, return its local price and prepare a booking link. Booking itself happens on Taskrabbit.

What changes once Taskrabbit is connected
Tell Claude what needs doing and where; it checks Taskrabbit to see whether that service is offered in your area, asks a few questions to pin down the job, shows the local price, then hands you a link to book on Taskrabbit. According to the publisher, those questions cover things like room count or type of space.
Find out whether help exists in your city. list_supported_services lists the Taskrabbit services offered for a city and state, or a postal code.
Know the price before committing. check_service_availability checks one specific service, returns its price in your area and the scoping questions to ask you, such as room count or type of space.
Move on to booking. generate_deep_link prepares a pre-filled Taskrabbit link that drops you on Taskrabbit to pick and book your task.
What Claude does not do here: it books nothing on your behalf, ever. Taskrabbit says so itself: you stay in control, and the decision to book is always yours, never Claude's. The service is announced for the United States only, and nothing runs in the background; Claude only acts while it is answering you, and only when you ask. We have no n8n, Make or Zapier page for Taskrabbit; the Integrations hub lists the platforms we cover.
Five terms to follow along
The Claude vocabulary used here, in plain words.
- Connector
- The link you add once between Claude and an outside service, so Claude can call on it while answering you.
- Tool
- A named capability the connector opens to Claude. Claude decides which ones to use; the directory sheet lists them.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before an action that changes something. The three Taskrabbit tools only look things up.
- Directory
- Claude's official connector catalog, where each sheet shows the publisher, the use case and the tools exposed.
- MCP
- The open standard connectors rest on: it is what lets an assistant query a service such as Taskrabbit mid-conversation.
Adding the Claude Taskrabbit connector
- 01
Find Taskrabbit in settings
Open Claude's settings, go through Customize and then Connectors, and search for Taskrabbit. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable it for the organization before members can add it.
- 02
Click Connect
Start the connection with Connect on its row and follow the window that opens, if one does. Taskrabbit says the connector works wherever you use Claude.
- 03
Say what and where
Describe the job and give the location: a city with its state, or a postal code. Taskrabbit says the connector works wherever you use Claude, on iOS, on Android and on the web, so a request started on your phone works the same way.
The 3 tools in the Claude Taskrabbit connector
Taskrabbit Booking Assistance gives Claude 3 tools: 3 that read your account, 0 that change something in it.
Three tools, described by Taskrabbit in the tool list its server publishes and flagged there as lookups only. Names stay exactly as Claude shows them.

What Claude looks up (3)
3 toolsThree tools that check, price and prepare a link without booking anything.
check_service_availability
For a given service and place, Claude checks availability, pulls the price charged in that area and the scoping questions used to narrow down the job. The place is given as a city and state, or as a postal code.
generate_deep_link
From a task template ID, Claude generates a pre-filled Taskrabbit link that takes you straight to Taskrabbit to finish the booking there.
list_supported_services
Claude lists the Taskrabbit services offered in a place, given as a city and state or a postal code, so you see the range before zeroing in on one need.
What Claude checks with you first
By default, Claude stops and asks before each action it takes on your behalf. With Taskrabbit, the sheet only exposes lookups: checking, listing and preparing a link.
No source describes a confirmation specific to these three tools, so Claude's general rule applies. Taskrabbit stresses one point on its side: you stay in control throughout, and the decision to book always remains yours, not Claude's. On Team and Enterprise, workspace owners can limit what a connector may do for the whole organization, or switch it off, and nobody can override that from their own account.
Which plans the connector is available on
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector: none of the 819 sheets in the directory shows it.
Only the general rule is published: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables them for the organization, then each member connects. For Taskrabbit's current status, check its sheet in the official directory, the only place that displays it.
Where the Taskrabbit connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it is answering you, and nothing alerts you on its own when a service becomes available.
By default the sheet only exposes reads; that is an observed floor, not a promise. The directory's verification badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic notes that it does not choose the tools a publisher exposes. Only Taskrabbit documents this connector; no Claude help article covers it. These are the boundaries it announces, worth knowing before you describe a job to Claude and expect a booking link back.
